First we ordered Bloody Marys.....not available, then we ordered Mahoto....not available, next we tried Corona light....not available. Ok do you have cokes. We finally after 10 minutes got cokes. We ordered spinach dip....they brought out fried cheese sticks. Sent them back...not what we ordered. Food was literally the best I have had in a very long time and the mozzarella sticks were bomb like literally the best I have had server was great and we will definitely be back!!!! Was not the best place to have lunch. I came here during the "lunch rush" a total of 6 people were in the whole building. it took far too long to be seated. Once i was seated I felt ignored only having the waitress visit the table twice. During the hour I was here. No one was rude or anything but just the over all experience was not a pleasant one. Bad service! It is never ok for a waitress to basically tell a customer their complaint is not valid! My fries were lukewarm and she tells me, welll noooo, they were hot when I bought them out! Clearly they weren't...I don't like to send food back because they get so offended by it. Please save yourself the torture of coming to this establishment. we had the dishonor of having "Kiyah" as a server if that was even her actual name im not sure. Attitude was disgusting, and her service was worse from the intial greeting. multiple items were wrong and she continously and obviously rolled her eyes and smacked her teeth. Wow.... Me and a buddy went to watch NCAA tourney. Evidently there is a corporate policy they can't turn the tv on until the sporting event has started. That's what was told to us by our bartender. So we asked her to change the channel once the games started. After changing the channel for the third game she said..... "sometimes it's just not worth it". If I told my customers anything remotely close to that I would be fired. What a joke. read more

Hey everyone, Im here again at another place. Applebees at best is hit or miss. The franchise in Monroe Ga is about the same as all the rest with the exception of the bar area. Missie is one of the best in the industry.This is what sets this particular Applebees apart from all the rest. Lets be honist, Applebees is not really cooking. You need to have people skills when you dont have cooking talent. I would invite you to a warm and friendly environment made possible by a majority of the wait staff at this location. Now for the food... Like I said hit or miss..what do you expect? It is never bad but its just not great. BTW im very spoiled as I have been privileged to many of Atlanta's best resturants. I won't be going back here. The service is always terrible. Bartender took forever to take my drink order. And when I finally got my drink, it was weak. Too sweet and hardly any alcohol. Standard should be a 1 ounce pour but it was not even that. Food tasted like frozen food cooked that I could have easily bought at the grocery store. Applebee's is usually a very solid chain restaurant to go to, especially for late night meals. I came here with a group of 7 others at 9:30 and was seated immediately. We made it in right before the late night rush, which was lucky, as it got pretty crowded and people were waiting a bit to be seated. After 10 they have a half off appetizer special and that's all you need. The portions are huge. I had the sliders with bacon appetizer (the bacon definitely made the burgers) and they were delicious. No they were more than delicious. I got full off of just two of the mini burgers and wanted so badly to finish off of the third one, since it was so good, but couldn't. I was so sad to leave the last couple of bites, but just couldn't eat anymore. I also sampled the spinach dip and chip appetizer and it was delicious as well. Both the dip and chips came out warm, and I really enjoyed the cheesiness of the dip. Seeing the size of the apps, I can't imagine the size of the entrees. I don't know if it was just because they had a new bartender or someone just inexperienced in the art of drink making, but every drink at our table was sent back. I also noticed other tables sending their drinks back, and our waitress told us this had been happening all night. So hopefully they'll either retrain the bartenders or get someone who knows how to make a drink. I had ordered a frozen margarita and it came out soupy and disgusting. We also sent back a terrible mojito and another drink I can't recall. Friday night seems to be karaoke night. This is the first time I've ever seen an Applebee's with a karaoke night and I could see myself possibly liking it up here in the Northeast. But, I have to say, they need a better system. No one should be allowed to come up more than two times, especially when you suck at singing. Sure it's all fun and what not to get up on the mic, but when you keep going up, the novelty wears off real quick. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She even split up our checks four ways! I've eaten here many times and it's always been solid standard chain fare. I just had to make a comment that we did a takeout order and Diana H. was AWESOME. We've ordered many times (dine in and takeout) and asked for extra sauce on a dish and they NEVER give it even though they are always obliging when they take our order. This time, Diana took our order over the phone and she made sure we got our extra sauce. She was super friendly and made sure we knew she was there to get things right. Waited almost an hour for someone to come take our food order, the hostess was nice enough to bring us drinks, attempted several times to find us a server, and yet to no avail, no service. Seems only three people are working in the entire restaurant... they even have people in "street clothes" serving food to tables. Totally unacceptable and horrific service. We went their on a Saturday night at 10 pm. The place was empty except for the bar. We waited 45 minutes just for drinks. Then another 30 minutes for appetizers. As we began eating appetizers they brought out our food. Then it turned out that our waiter forgot to write down two of our orders. Then we had to sit and wait for those to arrive. Getting refills where almost near impossible as our waiter never returned to our table unless we ask for someone to get him. When finally we received our food we had no silverware to eat with. So one of our guest got up and went and I got the silverware for us. This place has terrible service. But we did enjoy the food. read more

When you want a drink but still be functional the next day they do put allot of ice in the mixed drinks but i find it perfect for first dates that don't need to get too crazy. I use applebees exactly for this and it done works. And they got the good food and snack read more

I know thats part of her job,but when we told her we domt drink and would like two teas you could see her attitude change. She said she would be back to take our order but never came back. Honestly the worst food and service I've ever had. My husband's steak was over cooked and his loaded baked potato was hardly loaded. It had no butter or sour cream and was dry. We asked for butter and sour cream and by the time we got it the potato was cold. I got the chicken Alfredo and the chicken was way over seasoned and tasted like rubber. Horrible experience! The food was absolutely terrible from the get-go. The chips with spinach and artichoke dip that we ordered came out burnt. (Both the chips and the dip!) But that's not the worst of it. The chips they served were not chips at all but rather the little tiny crushed pieces that you would find in the bottom of a bag! I could not believe that a professional restaurant would ever serve such a dish. Then, when the riblets I ordered came out, not only were they totally cold, they were some of the nastiest meat I have ever eaten! And trust me, as a career Army soldier I was trained to eat things that would make a Billy goat puke, so that's saying something. Although the food was horrible, the thing that truly drove the knife in for the final kill was the manager! If there even was a manager there that day on Saturday, March 7, 2020. The reason I say "if" is because we never saw them. The didn't come out to apologize for what the kitchen served us, and they never came out one time to apologize for this next part. When the bill came out, although we had ordered the "2 for $22" meal, they charged us for the "2 for $25" meal. When I brought this to the attention of our waitress she took the bill back and told the manager about it. When she turned she said that the manager was not going to take off the difference because the food had already been served and eaten. What??!!! I won't bore you with all the details but THREE times I asked that poor waitress to go back to the manager before the "so-called" manager took the difference off! And still, he/she/whoever they were, they never came to our table once to apologize for the food or for the mistake with the bill. I literally felt so sorry for the waitress, who had only recently started working there, that I stopped her and told her that I knew that none of this was her fault. And, although I was paying by credit card, that I wanted her to get her full tip, so I handed her a nice tip and said to her, here I want to make sure you get your tip, and I'm afraid that if I put it on my credit card the manager might never give it to you. Now, let me tell you, a person has to do something mighty bad for me not to trust them, but after what I experienced that day, I instantly felt that way about whoever was manager there on this particular day. This has the be the worst place I have ever been. Our server Terri continued to make mistakes with our order, never came back to the table, and worst of all was so incredibly rude. When my sons lunch didn't come out and mine was cold, we asked to see a manager. Sierra, the manager, was the worst part of the entire experience. The food is what you expect, but the service was terrible. While it was a Friday evening, about 1/3 of the tables were empty. Two of us arrived and ordered Tea, a glass of water, and a glass of wine. The waitress brought out our water and tea, took our food order and stated that she would bring my wine. Our food was brought out by someone from the kitchen but my wine was no where in sight and my water glass was empty, with our waitress no where to be seen. Our waitress finally appeared and said she would get us more water and tea. After several minutes I went to the bar and got water myself. We finished our meal after a second trip to the bar for more water and attempted to pay using the tablet at the table and found our check was wrong. I got the attention of one of the managers and pointed out that I never got my wine which I no longer wanted since my meal was over. She offered to take it off my check and my wife asked for a sweet tea to go. She returned with a glass of tea and a glass of wine. I pointed out again that my meal was over and I was not going to quickly drink a glass of wine. She apologized and then corrected my check. After paying the check we started out the door and my wife took a sip of her tea and discovered it was unsweetened. How can you many mistakes and hope to keep customers? read more
