I put in an order for curbside pickup, and I live about 15 minutes from the Applebees; I ordered the shrimp parmesan with steak. I get home, and there was no shrimp, and the sides were cold. When I called them about the mess up, they said sorry; instead of offering to refund the meal, they said I could come back to the store and get the shrimp, or they can send me a 10 dollar gift card. I told them to keep the card; I don't want to order from there again anyway. Now I know why there are so many Applebees that are closing--the food and service. read more

Hell no. No sir. No ma'am. So lemme get into it. A year ago, we took my son here for a birthday dinner and near the end of my meal, I found a fly in my food. Didn't have to pay so I just put it in the past. Didn't feel like cooking earlier this week, so myself, hubby and our children went again. We get there, our drink order was taken. Now we're ready to order. 10 minutes until we order. Hubby ordered buffalo wings with fries and I ordered four cheese Mac with honey pepper chicken tenders. It took about 30 minutes for our order to come and it was wrong!!!!! She messed up both orders. We had to get another waitress to assist us because that girl was a mess. Hair all over her head. Belly hanging from the bottom of her shirt. So hubby gets his order redone correctly and he began to wait with the kids. My order took so long that I had to get it to go because I had places to be. I will not be going back here. I was in that restaurant for over an hour, and I never ate. Mad is an understatement read more

Bad night for the Bee. My trusty sidekick and I were looking for a simple and convenient sit down dinner, whichbfor me will always include a side of mashed and gravy, so while Brecks might have better food, we were already near Applebees because of a hardware run to Marvins. We navigated the strange entrance and parking lot and walked in, nobody waiting. Great? We stood there. We looked around. We perused the menu. We watched the bartender and servers go about tgeir tasks. After what was probably over two or three minutes, and after making eye contact with two or three staff, I started a one minute countdown in my head, and when it got to zero without Applebees interrupting me with any communication, we left. Luckily, there is both Cinco de Mayo and Ladles within walking distance. "Hola, how many, table or booth" almost before the door closed behind us. Muy bien read more

the place was nasty the plates was not clean and the tables was no clean the food nasty! will not be going back there

This is a typical Applebee's but I hadn't been in years. I actually really enjoyed my food here. I had my age old favorite of the Sirloin with parmesan and shrimp then got the Mac and cheese and garlicky green beans for sides. I cleared my plate which doesn't happen often. Thanks Applebee's, I was actually pleasantly surprised today. read more

Nope. .... quality has gone down and the prices have gone up.. used to be good spot to go and hang out. Not anymore.

Our experience tonight was beyond frustrating and just down right comical. I really was waiting on Ashton Kutcher to jump out and yell PUNKED or some tv show host to tell us we had been tricked. Ok so we come in and there are 5 of us 4 adults and my daughter who is 3. First they ask us if a high top table is OK, we declined stating that my 3 year old doesn't sit still enough to sit at the high top tables. We get seated at a booth and we order an appetizer on the little table thing on the table. We wait and wait watch servers come by and no one stops. They bring out our appetizer which we ordered on the tablet and no one bats an eye at the fact that we have no drinks or silverware at our table. We press the call waiter button on tablet, no one comes after a while a waitress from another table offers to get us drinks and find our waitress. So after about 20 mins my mother in law asked to speak to the manager. The first lady we speak to is rude doesn't apologize for anything and again offers to get our drinks. One man comes over with 4 drinks to the table that weren't correct, then our actual waitress makes and appearance and says she's been making tea in the back and had no idea they sat her section. She also came carrying 3 Arnold Palmer's and a water. (2nd attempt at drinks 25mins in and still wrong.) She takes pur order for everything and by then a 3rd person brings drinks (still wrong but at this point we take what we can get). We then had 2 servers attempt to bring us the wrong food. Our food finally arrived and of course it's cold like it's been sitting in the back forever. Our waitress hasn't checked in on us at all, we have no silverware. So my husband got up to find silverware, on his way back with ours we notice an older gentleman sitting alone didn't get silverware either, so my husband got up found it from the host stand and gave him some as well. Next another manager comes over and asks how everything is going. Everyone at the table begins to laugh and we explain the situation. She takes a bigger interest in he problem apologizes and comes back later to tall to us again. Finally were getting ready to leave ask the waitress for the bill, she points at the tablet and says you use that...... to what point I crack up again and we pay from the machine leaving her nothing as she literally did nothing(I never, ever do this, but tonight I just couldn't leave anything it was sooo bad.) I clicked on no receipt, but wouldn't you know the one time our waitress is attentive is to bring over our ticket and mumbles something under her breathe..... Worst experience ever, don't expect us back. read more

Sat us in food that we told 3 people about. Every order out of 4 was messed up. Just all around horrible and they weren't even busy but still took forever to get our food. They took the drinks off and the cheapest sandwich which was also wrong 0stars is really what they should get. read more

Very clean , fast service , and great food ! They treat our vets like royalty !

Upon arriving was told there I a 20 min wait for a table for 2 at least 10 tables for 2 open if they would just clean them off!! Host was lost and clueless! Waiters and waitress just seemed like they were there !to talk to co workers and not actually work . After sitting and actually getting food it was horrible like they Microwaved the steak the queso dip was old and nasty the red beans and rice was like mush read more

Generally, the service is awsome! The managment there must be on top of thier game! The food is even better, though sometimes they have a new cook that burns everything, but they always fix w/o a bat of the eye! Applebee's is my fav place to eat in Moncks Corner! read more

This is certainly one of the nicer sit-down restaurants we have in Moncks Corner. However that doesn't say too much being that it is in Moncks Corner. Some of the food is good, but anything fried tastes good. Other than that, the quality of the food is very disappointing. The steaks, along with most of the other meats, taste like they went straight from the freezer and right onto the grill. Plus it's never cooked they way you ask for it. Everything is a bit too pricey, and I don't plan on going back again. read more

Worst customer service ever! Our waitress was more concerned with flirting with the host than taking care of her customers. We brought this to the manager's attention and were told she was being sent home when we were finished. Why even let her stick around? Then she split our check and it was wrong and I had to follow a manager into the bathroom to attempt to have it corrected so that our friends didn't have to pay for our drinks. The check was again wrong even worse than before and we were charged for drinks we never received. Second manager finally corrected the check and comped the entire check for the table next to us who decided to leave after seeing all the trouble we were having. We paid and left, but will NOT be back. In a small town with few options I'd rather starve than spend another dollar here! read more

To be quite honest, I would stop coming here. But unfortunately out here in Moncks Corner there isn't much choice of a sit-down selection when it comes to a bar and grill; if there is please message me. Back of the point, each and almost every single time we visit this location there is a lack of haste in the service. Along with the less than desirable speed, a majority of the staff members have a sour attitude and get snappy if asking any type of question. We have spoke to a handful of different managers, both not here any longer or still working: somehow. Please someone take control of this restaurant and bring it back up. I would like to come and enjoy a nice meal with at least decent service. Plus side, food is normally ok; that's why I gave it a 2-star. read more

Service was amazing food was the best I've ever had. The waiter looked like Vanilla ice and he made us laugh like someone farted. I think his name was Bryce Walker ask for him read more

Husbands soup was cold. Asked for a water with my bar drink, had to ask for it 3 times. My husband also never got his tea. Then was basically accused of not telling the waitress that he wanted it once he asked for it the 2nd time. Then he asked a lady that brought out his soup for crackers because we didn't see our waitress around. Waitress came back and said that she had already told my husband that they didn't have crackers and that she thought he understood that when she told him the first time....? That was the first time he asked for crackers. My son didn't get his side with his kids meal. When he asked for the side, it took literally 10 minutes to get 3 cheesesticks. And they were COLD. Smart ass waitress, poor service, and cold food. read more

I normally order curb side because I am exhausted and want to feed my family quickly. Too bad Applebee's curbside does not care about the timing. My food was late by 20 minutes. Not to mention, the put all the wet foods with the dry and made the dry saggy. No napkins or plastic ware. Great job Applebee's. Keep going at this rate and you will be like the others in the Lowcountry...CLOSED read more

Absolutely terrible. Wait for 10 minutes to even get a drink order. Order a grilled chicken salad with no croutons and get a salad with croutons and no grilled chicken. Ask for silverware 3 times before dinner finally getting it. This is definitely not the first time this location has had food or service issues. Almost always a disappointment. Do not recommend to anyone. Bad customer service is bad customer service. read more

My husband and I went there on Saturday afternoon and were seated promptly. We both decided to try something different. We started with french onion and potato soups which were lukewarm and not very flavorable. I ordered the crispy shrimp which were bland, no seasoning at all in the coating, and were obviously fried from a frozen bag. French fries and cole slaw were okay. My husband had the wonton stir fry and the portion was very small. I tasted it and we both agreed that it was a ready-to-heat frozen meal, like from the grocery store. Apparently, not much real cooking going on at Applebee's now. Maybe if we had been drinking alcoholic beverages, we may not have noticed the extremely poor food we were served. Will not be back and suspect that this location will soon close, like many other Applebee's restaurants have locally. read more

Walking in the door I already knew this was going to be a bad experience. I waited to be seated so long I was able to check social media and play a game before I was acknowledged. The was hostess was rude and extremely sloppy in her appearance. Our table had so much food under it our feet were crunching. The bathroom was the last straw. It was filthy. We were at our table for 10 minutes and our waitress never approached us. As we got up to leave we noticed over half of the tables were waiting for food and needed drink refills. read more

Seeing past reviews, I was nervous about eating here. So I chose the "to go-car side" burger & fries. I figured, if you mess that up, not much more to see. Well, I arrived a few minutes before my order was due, they checked me in quick & my food was actually done before the actual time I had requested it. Food was hot & good. I can tell they are working out problems, it's busy now. I will order again soon. read more

Well im done with Applebees the unit in Summerville is the worst of them all. I wanted to try Monks Corner to see if they were better then Summerville and it was but not by much. We arrived at 530 on 6/30 only pn 2 of us and left at 7pm we ordered nachos and wings 2 beers. The order never made it to thr kitchen so never again will we go back until we go to RVA where they know how to get it righ read more

The waitress was nice enough. Menu selections were just nothing appealing so I settled on a salad and club sandwich, my husband got a salad and a mac and cheese plate with bacon and the menu SHOWED a mac and cheese with chicken on it. but there were no real descriptions on the menu. (liability I guess) The salad was small. VERY small. Croutons tasted moldy (but there were only 3 croutons anyway). The club sandwich was only 1/2 a sandwich. They had slathered it in butter so it was almost slippery. The tomato was pink, not red, lettuce soggy. Bacon on it (what little there was) one slice, burnt. Jimmy's mac was rubbery with NO bacon to speak of. While we were there another couple got up and left because she was going to be late back to work. They left with only their drinks (and they should not have had to pay for them, quite honestly) Oh, and the salad dressing was maybe 1/2 tablespoon. We had to ASK for tea refills and then she did not bring sweetener. When we told her our complaint, she was like "oh well". I always leave a tip, but it was pure sympathy because the waitress could not help how nasty the food was. We will NEVER go to another Applebees as long as they remain a viable business. read more

We just had a great lunch from Applebee's! My wife had the shrimp wonton stir fry and I had the ribbettes! We ordered online and picked it up in 15 minutes. Couldn't be happier with the service or the food! read more

I am here right now and the service is ok I had to ask for napkins and refills more than twice then I got a desert that came with icing but of course was not delivered with the desert so the manger brought me icing but of course it came with hair in it so I didn't even eat the second round of ice no that was brought. Average Applebees food. Same terrible service I have come to expect at all Applebees. The waitress was less than thrilled that my husband and I didn't order drinks. He wanted Coke and I just wanted water. She made some comment like "Seriously?" Food came out in average time... Then we waited for the bill. It took longer to get the bill AFTER my husband asked three times than to get our food. A party of about ten came in and the rude waitress was so worried about that tip she completely ignored us. After my husband asked for the check for the third time, she rolled her eyes and did not apologize when she brought it out LATE. She wasted our time and I left irritated. Not a fun night out. Unless you have a serious craving for this type of prepackaged chain resturaunt food go somewhere else. read more

I took my boyfriend and his mother here bc I was visiting my home town moncks corner. and we walked in half the restaurant was empty wasn't busy at all and some server or host told us we couldn't be seated.. Unfortunately didn't get to try food to comment on it but prob won't visit here anytime soon unless I'm at a different location of apple bees. read more

Went here on vacation from up North. Got there around 7:45pm. Our Server was awesome, Crystal, very nice. She put on the NFL pre season game for us when we asked and even moved us closer to the TV. The food tasted great and she checked on us enough without it being too much. read more

The service was wonderful! However, the food was disappointing. We asked for wimpy boneless wings. They sent wings slathered in hot sauce. We sent them back. We finally got the correct appetizer when our food was ready. I got the Steak stir fry, it was disappointing. The meat was too dry. My husband got Noodles with shrimp. He liked the shrimp but turned down the noodles. Manager came to talk to us and got a cheeseburger and fries for us instead. read more
