Haven't been to an Applebees for a very long time. My wife and I had the 2 for 20 dinner. Includes an appetizer. Yelp check in allowed us to get an additional appetizer for free. We left very satisfied and with money in my pocket. Their Spinach and Artichoke app and their Pretzel app were outstanding. We will be back for sure. read more

We went on a Saturday night around 9.. Brenda gave us AMAZING service. She was so friendly, she made the experience enjoyable, and I have no complaints. Applebees in Marshall the food is typically good.. However yesterday was not a good experience... The chicken tenders were super dry, the ribs didn't have enough sauce for the price that we paid it should have been way better.. read more

This restaurant was very accommodating to our group of 10. They do not take reservations so we had a bit of a wait until we could get a table. Kaleb, our server, did a great job with the large group. He checked in on us often as he would with a small group. All entrees came out within a few minutes so no one had a long wait while others were already served. The food was served hot. I ordered the double-crunch shrimp. The breading was doughy and they were barely cooked. The fries were cold and tough. The best part of the meal was the coleslaw. I understanding changing menu items, but this was not a change for the better. For the price, this definitely was not worth it. read more

Most of the time we come here, we get very good service. The menu has quite a bit, however I have never been too impressed with the meal. I like that they do have some more healthy-ish items listed now. Still, the food is pretty sub-par, and when the bill comes around I'm a little disappointed with the quality of what we pay for. But hey, at least they have booze. read more

This is the absolute worst Applebee's I have ever been to I eat at Applebee's at least once or twice a week 70 times a year plus last year I had extremely bad service at this restaurant this year I came back hoping that things may have changed and unfortunately they were just like they were last year extremely bad service took forever to get the food food was not cooked to order Leslie cook and still was not correct so by that point in time I have waited so long I've lost my appetite would never wreck would never recommend this location they had over a year to correct their service and problems with their kitchen and it hasn't been done then they want to offer me a burger to go or something at a different date I travel the US frequent Applebee's on a weekly basis out of all Applebee's I this is the absolute worst hopefully corporate will take notice and pull their franchise. read more

Food is usually pretty good. We go mon-wed because they have kids eat free which is great! Drinks are always good and on the cheaper side. Service is sub par though. read more

An overall bad experience......asked for a booth when we arrived and told they had none so we said OK to a table. As we are lead to our table across the aisle a booth was being cleaned. By the time we took our coats off and sat down the booth was ready. 2-3 minutes later another booth was cleaned about 4 spaces down across the aisle. We were not asked if we wanted to move to one of the booths or worse yet offered the opportunity to wait 2-3 minutes until they had a booth clean. They were not busy and there were no other customers waiting and we would have gladly waited a couple of minutes until they had a booth clean had we been offered. Worse as we sat at our table one booth sat empty for 10 minutes and other for 15 minutes before other customers were seated. Shows no project management/customer service skills by the host staff. Once to our table the server/waiter acted as if he was always in a hurry. He hopped from one foot to the other as we tried to give our order as if her had no time for us. We ordered two side salads, both without tomatoes and one showed up with tomatoes. Maybe if he had slowed down and paid more attention he could have gotten the order right or if it was the kitchen;'s fault he should not have brought it out and served it. Finally, my wife ordered a chicken dish that did not describe it was garnished with tomatoes. After ordering two salads without tomatoes it would not seem unreasonable for him to mention that dish has tomatoes on it so she could ask the m to hold them. It would show attention to detail and knowledge of the menu. read more

Not impressed with the new menu (again)! We had two for $25 and our house salad was good, we ordered two of them with no cucumbers but only got one salad cucumber free. And we order the 6 oz rib eye steaks with garlic mashed potatoes. We received our salads and only one of us received silverware. We both ordered our steaks medium and mine was almost rare. Also our garlic mashed potatoes just tasted washed out, not much flavor and not very much on the plate, but they put 3 deep fried onion rings to fill the plate, "gross"! It did not say anything on the menu about getting onion rings as part of this meal. My waitress was asked to bring butter for the mashed potatoes and we did not see the butter until we were 3/4 of the way thru our meal. The steaks used to be marinated, now they are really bland! Can't say that our $32 meal on Valentines Day was a good memory! read more

Didn't enjoy the brisket nachos. Not enough brisket-barely any. The sauce on the Asian brisket sliders was horrible.

I Had dinner with my family and was not disappointed with the staff. We were greeted professionally and seated promptly by the hostess. It wasn't long before our server arrived at our table and asked us what drinks we wanted. We were given our drinks immediately and our order was taken. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and even informed me about a menu dedicated to gluten free meals, which I did not know Applebee's had! He checked in on us during the course of our meal multiple times to make sure everything was enjoyable. The food itself was great tasting and served to us the way we ordered. Our plates were cleared without having to be asked and our bill was settled in a timely fashion. The staff was well trained in my eyes, at least the ones I interacted with. I even witnessed another server go out of their way to help an older gentleman who forgot where they were sitting after using the restroom. The staff appearance was appropriate to the nature of the restaurant and the overall cleanliness of the place was great, including the bathrooms. If you are looking for a family friendly environment, this is the place! read more

This particular location appears to be very poorly run. I've had good experiences there but they are far outweighed by terrible service, sporadic food delivery and poor food quality. I believe I've been comped more times than I've paid for in the last year. In general it just appears poorly managed, most of the young staff is just going through the motions because they haven't been well trained. The cooking staff doesn't seem to get any rhythm going. The only high light is a server named Judson who if he is there we ask for by name. He will try to make the experience enjoyable and he is on top of your order. When the place went from corporate to franchise it seemed to lose its way and hasn't found it yet. They quit having free kids meals for those kids showing up in local sports uniforms during the transitions, this used to be the go-to place after Saturday morning soccer games. But not anymore. I'll probably still try it every month or so but I don't expect much. It doesn't have to change because there is little competition. read more
