*"I visited this Applebee's location and found a fingernail in my food. This was extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. I have attached photos so others can clearly see what I found. Food safety should be taken seriously, and I hope management addresses this issue immediately so no one else has to experience something like this."** read more

The service was so rude and disrespectful. We were waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes just for our server to come back and ask "what did you order" 4 times and never put my order in. Bartender slamming food on the table. Worst experience ever. Never eat at this establishment. read more

Had one of the best experiences I've ever had at Applebee's thanks to my waitress Kennedy. She gave outstanding customer service, super attentive, made sure my food came out fast, and kept checking in to make sure I was good the whole time. Honestly the best service I've had at an Applebee's in a long time. If you go, definitely ask for Kennedy! read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Wrong dish served - American Near Me - Macon, Georgia

12/16/2021, Applebee's, Macon My first visit to this location. We were immediately seated and our waitress placed our drink order. We decided to just have the 1/2 price appetizers. My friend and I both placed an order for two styles of boneless wings of the same style. We did order different dipping sauces. We also ordered a appetizer of onion rings. About 10 minutes later the waitress brought my order, but not my friends. My order came out correct except the Buffalo wings. It was the mild sauce and not the extra spicy. It took another 5 minutes for my friends order to come out. One of his boneless wings they mixed up the sauce for what style of wings he wanted. We decided not to bother with mentioning anything because we had to get going. The waitress was extremely nice. She brought us drink refill without asking. The wings were perfectly cooked. While the type of wings ordered were incorrect, we still both enjoyed the flavor we hadn't tried. Sadly this type of mix up seems to happen more often thwn not when I visit Applebee's. Change your training, ordering system or something Applebee's because it needs fixed. read more

Admittedly, I'm not a fan of Applebee's in general, but this was an abysmal experience. I didn't expect much, but this was worse than I imagined. Please turn down the music. Again, Please turn down the music. I'm at a restaurant, not a night club. I'm not an old stick in the mud either. I love music, but I prefer being able to hear my dining companions more. The restaurant was dirty, tortilla chips and crumbs strewn all over the carpet. The chicken was beyond overcooked (jerky almost) and the lettuce was so wilted that most of it should have been thrown out. The server did the best she could. She was hustling and asked us numerous times if we needed anything - honestly, to the point of being irritating. I know it's a tough job so my complaint isn't with her. What has happened to standards? At this place, I'd say they're in the crapper. read more

Service was terrible, not sure they even had enough staff to operate properly! The servers weren't even sure what they had on hand.

Excellent dining experience all around. Server Kyah was amazing. Food was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Did a "twofer."Topped it off with yummy brownie bites. Perfection. read more

If Yelp had a "God Awful" rating, I would gladly give them this rating. The staff clearly has no clue what they are doing: half the order for our table of four was missing. Riblets, a staple of Applebees, were hard and almost inedible. Side dishes were changed without notice. Racism also came into play. I felt discriminated against due to my race. No more Applebees for me. read more

I only gave this one star because I half star was not available. I am normally an awesome tipper-because I have worked in the service industry. Three times I had to get up and go to a bar where there was no bartender to request a refill on my beer. I could understand if the restaurant were packed or they were super slammed or shortstaffed. However, there were four servers who were sitting at a table playing on their phones chatting and having snacks while I waited for my beer. I had to interrupt their conversations to ask them for a beer and they were sitting right beside me! I will not even comment on the gentleman who was employed by this establishment-he was reeking of marijuana as well when he came from his break... read more

I waited 20 plus minutes for a simple appetizer. When it did come out, boneless wings and quesadillas were both cold. I asked for them to reheat the quesadillas only to have them microwave them. They came out needless to say soggy. Also, I asked for sour cream on the side instead of ranch, the bartender attempted to grab it off my plate with his bare hand! Yea, never going back! read more

We are traveling thru Macon and wanted a quick bite -- ordered a oriental Grilled chicken without dried egg noodles and my husband ordered ribs w fries! Gross! Avoid at all cost! read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Worst thing ever to the restaurant industry creates horrible customer service. - American Near Me - Macon, Georgia

The quality and flavor of the food was marginal, the wait staff was unskilled, and the alcohol prices are too high. I arrived before my call-in order was ready, so I ordered a draft beer at the bar and make the kitchen aware I was waiting. The waitress packaged the hot entrée and the Caesar salad in one sack and let it sit until I asked about my order again. When she brought it out I paid the bill, discovering a single draft beer cost $6.50, how ridiculous! After the food sat at the restaurant and a short dive home, the salad had wilted to the point it was unpalatable and the chicken & shrimp entrée was bland. I do not recommend this place, I'll Never back! read more

I was on my way with a few coworkers through Macon, GA and decided to stop at Applebee's. We waited for about 20-25 minutes for a waiter/waitress. Tried calling a few of them multiple times. Restaurant was not busy and we were just stared at. We just walked out. Definitely felt like race played a role. read more

Pretty loud atmosphere thanks to an almost full bar...at 4p on a Thursday. Service was pretty good. Bathrooms need attention, and I was in there while an employee was - so I guess they don't care. It was convenient for today, but it isn't going to become our normal stop. read more

Food was Great! Service could have been better. Waiting to long for Beverages. Food with no drinks makes for a bad experience.

After an evening of shopping we stopped in for a bite to eat. We arrived about 8:40 and was seated immediately considering they were not very busy. Our order was placed at appx 8:55. At about 9:30 our food arrived...The salad (I f that's what you'd call it) contained very little lettuce, drowned in dressing, croutons and shaved parmesan. The waitress was advised and she asked would I like more lettuce and I told her I'd deal with it as long as the other food was OK. It wasn't...Salad hot and the food cold for both of us. I advised the waitress who advised the manager. She was gone for a few minutes to advise us the manager was coming. He/She did not show and we left however we did pay for our beverages. This Apple Bees has had issues for years but we decided to give it another chance...No More! I do not recommend THIS location to ANYONE!!! I've never had a problem with the Zebulon Rd or Riverside Dr locations. read more

Let me be upfront and say I didn't want to come here, but the people in my party that evening did. OK guys, no biggie, I'll check out some appetizers. Well, you would think I would have the sense not to order anything, or at best say, "No let's get out of here" when the smell of old carpet hit me as soon as we walked in. We were seated quickly, and our order was taken quickly. The girl brought our drinks and we waited for AGES for the simple orders to come. Not the waitress' fault, mind you - we looked around and asked ourselves, ' anyone else working here beside the bartender? Oh, there's ONE other waitress WAY OVER THERE.' She was sweet enough to all of us, anyway. When the orders came, everything was cold. The mozzarella sticks were solid and the spinach artichoke dip was just as cold (isn't that what the sizzling serving dish is for?) We sent them back and the dishes came back obviously microwaved. We all made the best of it but trust me, we're never coming back to this place. read more

Worst experience. The restaurant was not packed. We waited 30 minutes for a draft beer and a cocktail drink. Waitress said it would come out shortly, every time we asked. Party of 4. 3 received food one did not. Once the 4th plate came out the steak smelled and tasted bad. It was supposed to be medium came out well done. Called the manager over who was very polite and tried to make the situation better. At that point, there was no correcting. She did comp the food for the rest of the party. read more

Ive always been a fan of Applebees. Their customer service has always been spot on and very courteous. Went with three other people and I simply got the 2 for 20. For such a bargain price you would expect garbage food, but it was truly very good. Well proportioned and we took alot of the food home. Everything in this place gets an A. From the food to the actual theme of the restaurant. After youre finished shopping at the mall, with Ruby Tuesdays out of the picture, hop across the street to the exceptional Applebees. read more

It's alright. You know what you're getting into when you go to Applebee's. There are better choices in Macon.

Been here once, never again! Our food was dry and our server took our order and was never seen again until the bill came!

Worst experience I've had eating out in awhile. Waitress (was not waitress assigned to my table) was rude and unkempt and the manager (Mr. Butts) seems to care less. I will never go there again. First experience is an everlasting experience. Corporate needs to clean house and get people in there who demonstrate and believe in "customer service". If any of your waitresses/waiters makes unsolicited/inappropriate comments to customer/s they need to be removed. read more

For years I have thought I hated Applebee's. Fleeing Hurricane Matthew, we reached the outskirts of Atlanta tired and hungry. Our waiter, Charles, was fantastic. The food was really great. I had the sweet potato fries with sauces, and the honey barbecue was especially divine. My wife had something fried chicken with onions on potatoes, no idea what it was called, but the quarter of it she didn't eat got smothered in honey barbeque and was soooo good. My daughter, a cheeseburger connoisseur, declared this cheeseburger the greatest cheeseburger ever. There was simply nothing about this experience that could have been better. Speed, service, food, all top notch. read more

This was our second visit because other locations are so much better and we gave them a pass on the first visit. This time was so much worse. I told our server that I wanted a drink but wanted to look at the menu first. It took her 10 minutes to come back and then only to bring our food. She kept forgetting things for our kids, was indifferent to the fact that my order was wrong and took much longer to do anything than a normal server. All this on a slow Monday night. read more

Service terrible management concern zero. Needs extensive staff training and management replacement

Went here on a Saturday about 730. There was no wait for seating. At about 845 we left and had never received our food. Waitress just kept saying "it's coming."
