It was very easy to locate in the Kroger shopping center, so parking was very easy. It was lunch time when I walked in...there were a few people seated by not many. The menu was large and easy to ready. The interior was clean but the floor was very sticky. Since it looked so clean, I imagine it was the soap they were using but it was the only thing that I didn't LOVE about this place. I could have called ahead for a large order of chicken livers but it really didn't take that long. (And it was only $7 for a huge portion.) This was one of the few places that didn't make me buy a meal just for chicken livers. The gentleman that took my order was very nice. We had a sort of blind taste test when I got home (I knew where they all came from but the rest of my family did not.) Mrs. Betty's was unanimously voted as the BEST chicken livers!!! My parents will definitely be coming back here, probably at least once a month!

The chicken -- I got dark meat, natch -- was incredibly juicy and the seasoning was done with a light enough touch that you could taste both the seasoning and the meat. My sides were collards and fries, and both were very well-seasoned. The fries were nice and just crispy enough on the outside, and the collards came in a wonderful pot liquor. Service was wonderful, with polite, helpful staff. My only issue was that the cornbread was a bit dry. But they hit it out of the park with the other three, so it's a minor quibble. The whole meal with a drink came out to around fourteen dollars, which was itself a pretty good deal. All told, it was a good meal and I'll definitely be back here in the future.

My rice was cold, the meat was cold, the sauce was lumpy like it had not been thawed out all the way. The sauce was over barring and I ended up just eating whatever plain rice was left in the middle of my cold pile of rice. We also ordered the gyoza ... wasn't a fan it was slimier than I'm used to with steamed gyoza. I'll come back and try the noodle dish since that seemed to be a hit with everyone in the restaurant.

Half of the stores are not open for business yet but parking looks to be adequate as long as each shop is not busy at the same time. Getting into the parking lot was awkward, it is one way and so I had to drive behind the strip to circle around to the front. I almost collided with another vehicle while entering the lot since it's not obvious that it's a one way until you see a car coming at you head on. When I walked inside I was greeted by a friendly staff. The restaurant is quaint yet there is plenty of seating. Everything looked clean. The ambiance is casual and perfect for a lunch date. If dining in, you order and pay for your food at the counter, and they will bring the food to your table. On this particular Sunday I ordered my food to go. Their website is user-friendly and ordering online was easy. I ordered 2 starters, the Vegetable Harumaki (spring rolls ) and Sakura Ebi (marinated fried shrimp). My husband and I enjoyed both appetizers but the Sakura Ebi was our favorite, it came with a yummy sauce in a container too small to dip the shrimp, a regular sized condiment container would be more pragmatic. My husband had the Tenmii Plate with grilled chicken, he enjoyed his dish, the combination of ingredients was tasty. I had the Spicy Tokubetsu with ramen noodles and Ebi Furai. It would be nice if they offered grilled shrimp opposed to just Fried but the shrimp are a hit. I was not a fan of my noodle bowl; I didn't like the broth nor the soy egg. The next time I visit I would like to try their signature salad. Prices are reasonable and portions are fair. If you find yourself in the area Tenmii is worth giving a try.
