    Blackened Shrimp Alfredo to go
    Jon G.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with waffle fries to go. The fries were good, but if they can mess up fries, they really have problems. The sandwich however was absolutely disgusting. It was definitely microwaved and not freshly grilled because it had all the tell tale signs. It was soggy and lukewarm. Even the bun was soaked through to mush. This isn't my first grilled chicken sandwich, there's no reason for it to turn out that way unless it was microwaved from frozen and pre cooked. I also didn't get the cheese that I paid extra for. And the chicken itself tasted like soap! I don't know how restaurants get away with this sort of thing and manage to stay in business. With so many one star reviews here, corporate either needs to invest in making this place better, or shut it down.

Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Waffle Fries

Admittedly we've not been here in a while. This is our second time in the last month. We had great service both times. Our first visit I asked for a special order of Grilled Salmon and Broccoli and Green Beans. Prepared exactly how I wanted, and tasty! Hubby got the roll up and I got a bite, yummy. Today I was craving the 12oz Rib Eye. Perfectly prepared with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli. And hubby got the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Sandwich with pickles added. And waffle fries. He loved it. It was really quiet right before 730pm I see a mixture of reviews. We wouldn't hesitate it coming back.

I was excited to try the new really big meal deals at Applebee's and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I placed an order for pick up and when a Tuesday night for pick up. I ordered the Big Cluckin Crispy Crispy Chicken Sandwich Meal. When I arrived at the restaurant at my pick up time my order wasn't ready. The staff was busy chatting with each other. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my pick up order. I when I got home and opened my order the the Big Cluckin Crispy Chicken Sandwich I was given looked nothing like they advertised. I was given a sandwich with a piece of the chicken breast missing. It looks like someone took a bite out of it. The chicken breast was small compared to the picture that they advertise and it didn't even look crispy at all. I was disgusted by it that I had to toss it away. I won't be coming back to this Applebee's again.

Service wasn't bad, But the food was terrible.... From the presentation to the taste! Horrible

4 Four-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders ???????? Where is the cheese??????????

So, this place has always had memories for my kids and I - but now it's horrible. They have changed the menu so drastically- and evidently the recipe too!! This is 4 cheese macaroni and cheese with honey chicken strips.. but there seems to be no cheese, let alone four cheeses!!! I was so disappointed- we came here after a very long week of working. I guess it's not the same anymore. I will definitely have to find a new place to go. Smh. Terrible and they raised the price with smaller portions.

Not a good visit. After the long wait, which we found out was due to lack of kitchen staff, we were finally seated. My husband and son ordered the wings. You only get one choice in flavors and the regular flavor was cold both times. Our son ordered the garlic parmesean and they were warm. My order was ordered without meat. Notice the bacon on my plate. I get really sick if there's meat or something cooked with meat. Bacon is one of the worst. Since we never got utensils, it was a moot point. I never leave bad reviews, but we're not the only ones who had a horrible experience. We should've paid more attention to the guys who said they were sick when they left. Hindsight.

Hubby having boneless wings. They were overcooked, hard on the roof of the mouth.

Within a minute, he came back and explained that she was busy and offered to take our order himself, which I appreciated. Our food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted good. Unfortunately, the service after that was disappointing. We never received a soda refill until we flagged down a waitress who asked if we wanted one. After saying yes, it took another 7-10 minutes before we got our drinks. During that time, she walked past our table several times and seemed to forget about the refill. The restaurant wasn't busy, and there appeared to be plenty of employees working. However, it didn't seem like anyone was helping each other out. Several employees walked by our table while cleaning nearby tables but never checked to see if we needed anything. Overall, the food was good, but the lack of attention to customers made the experience less enjoyable. Maybe next time I'll go to Wingstop, where at least I can refill my own soda.

Like magic, the beverages just appear. The food comes out quick and is always good (spicy garlic and chipotle dry rub are our faves). We always sit at the bar but went a couple weeks ago and it was full so we took a table instead. I wish I remembered our servers name because she was great too! We eat out A LOT, and b dubs here in Lodi is top 2. Scotty solidified that for us but the wings are really good also. Oh, special shout out to their "alcohol of the month." I really don't know if that's what they call it but every month/holiday they feature a new boozy bev. Right now they have Jameson or green tea shots for $4!!!!! Where can you get good food and cheap alcohol paired with great service all under one roof?! I wasn't expecting to love b dubs this much but here we are. If you go, look for Scotty and tip him hella well because he deserves it!

I was shocked that there still so many seats available. I thought due to there was a game prior that the place would be packed and we would be lucky to get a seat. They had 2 lines to get in, the VIP line and the regular line. The line was super slow even with 3 hostesses. They were seating everyone so that is what took so much time. When we got to the front of the line they asked up if we had reservations. I had no idea that this was a reservation type of place. Next they informed us that there was a $20 cover fee. I think that is per group not per person, but I'm not really sure. For $20 we were ready to turn around and go home or to another place that didn't charge. We were totally shocked that there was an entrance fee. We had no idea that they would do something like that. We've been here once before for a Sunday NFL game and there was no cover charge. Thankfully the guy in front of us asked if it was free to sit at the outside bar and they said yes. So, after we were informed of the $20 fee we took the lead from the guy in-front of us and headed for the outdoor bar. For free you'd think the place would be packed. Thankfully it was virtually empty. We had almost any seat to choose from. We grabbed the third table, which had the best view of one of the many TVs. We're so thankful that we arrived early. As time went on the place did fill up and soon it was standing room only and people were actually standing and watching the game. We gave up our third chair to a larger party that wanted to sit together, their group did block the walkway, but no one said anything, they just went around the other side of the bar or squeezed though which was difficult. We ate dinner before we arrived to save money. Though once you see the menu you have to order something as everything looked so good. I really wanted to get the cheesecake as it was the only dessert they had. If they had a hot fudge Sunday, I would have totally got that. Instead I let my husband pick as everything looked so good and it was hard to decide. He ordered something that I wasn't eyeing, but I trusted him in his decision. He ordered the CRISPY CHICKEN & CORNBREAD PANCAKE Sweet cornbread pancakes, pickle-brined and hand-battered premium crispy chicken tenders, honey butter, maple syrup. The sweet cornbread was amazing. I love the edges, it was so buttery. The centers were also good with the honey butter, but not as good as the edges. The crispy chicken was really crispy to perfection. And it came out so hot, I almost burned my mouth it was so hot. We really didn't use the maple syrup. We dipped the chicken it it once, so as we tried it didn't really enhance the dish. Next time I'm going to just eat dinner at Tom's Watch Bar as everything looked so good. Also I've read other reviews and people have really liked the food. I though they had some sliders, but I didn't see them on the menu. They did have a Prime Rib Dip, but that isn't a slider. Sitting outside in the bar was great for the price. It did get a little chilly and I wished I had worn jeans and brought a sweater. Next time I'll check the weather for the evening and dress appropriately. I did have a jacket in the car so my husband went back to the car for me at half time and he also grabbed our emergency blanket to wrap around our legs. That really helped. They had plenty of pretty clean bathrooms. It didn't smell really refreshed, but it wasn't bad either. They had I believe 4 stalls so if there were a line it would move fast. I went right after half time in hopes there wasn't a line and there wasn't. It is a little hidden, but they are good at pointing you to it. I thought it was on the way to the kitchen and it might have been if you went right as the bathrooms are on the left. Parking at the Downtown Commons (DOCO) typically costs $6.00 per hour, with every additional 20 minutes priced at $2.00, up to a $32.00 daily maximum. During peak events at the Golden 1 Center, flat event rates often apply, and nearby garages offer varying hourly or daily rates. It cost us $18 to park. It seems like you can park at the old Macy's parking lot for $15. That's so much a better deal, but it also seems sketchy. Is it legit or are people just collecting money due to it's an empty lot. I think the price of parking is really expensive. I think we should have walked as it was daylight going there and it would be daylight going home. In addition it wasn't too hot. So back to the $20 entrance fee. Knowing this I am hesitant to return. I do see the advantage of arriving early so you can get a seat outside so that isn't bad. Arriving 30 minutes early isn't too early so it's reasonable.

I know I've…read moredriven past it many times, but I guess their signage is too modest compared to the huge "IDOL BEER WORKS" on the other end of the building. I figured it was just another iteration of the original (now long gone) Squeeze Inn in Sacramento, and I was right. I don't think the various locations are franchises, but are more likely independently owned, and the quality varies from location to location. The one that used to be in West Sac, for instance, was terrible, which might explain why it's been gone for years. And the mid-town was also a resounding MEH, and also gone. There's nothing at any version of Squeeze Inn/Burger that I want more than just a basic Squeeze (or in this case, SQZ) with Cheese, though. I don't want a taco, nor a BLT, and especially not chicken strips. I want that which made the brand famous. A cheeseburger with all the traditional toppings and a cheese skirt just dripping cheese grease off it. SQZ Burger delivers the goods. The cheese skirt was just the right size, not too big, not too small. At one point in my life I would have said that there's no such thing as a cheese skirt that's too big, but a couple of years ago I had a cheese skirt that was so big that I felt sick afterward from all the cheese grease! In addition to the just right amount of cheese, the burger had lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and a healthy schmear of mayo and mustard. Damn near a perfect burger. The owner was running the register on my visit, and when she brought my food out, she asked if I wanted a side of ranch. I'm the kind of guy who would drink ranch dressing if I could, so of course I accepted. I didn't even ask - It was nice of her to offer! There's a throughline from the original Squeeze Inn on Power Inn Road to SQZ Burger, too. The father of the husband half of the H/W ownership team owned the original location. Brandon and Katie ran the Galt location for several years, and have now brought the goodness to a Lodi brick and mortar spot. I'll definitely be back.
