The waiter took a good 10 mins to come to us to just introduce himself and take our drinks. I asked if the happy hour included in the half appetizers he said yes. So I ordered took them 20 mins to bring two appetizers I asked for my sons fries to be non seasoned. They came seasoned after 30 mins. It wasn't busy. Didn't even come check up on us or anything he went missing finally he showed up I asked for the check and the apps weren't half off I told him aren't they have off he said no only drinks I was like but asked you about the appetizers and u said yea. If I could give this place zero stars I would, Wayne (a white man) the area director was very disrespectful because one of his white customer was very rude and disrespect and he had the bartender not serve us anymore. Carl the only manager who address the situation made us leave the establishment because of the lady and because of Wayne the are director. This was the worst experience ever and I need someone to contact me from corporate to address this issue. I would never recommend this place to anyone, the lady had her entire check paid for while we were kicked out of the bar. If I could give it 0 stars I would, this is the worst Applebees I've ever been to. Worst service. I get home from work late, and decided to grab a bite to eat with the boyfriend, sat down right away, which was good, it took our server 20'minutes to get to us. I had to call the host over to ask if anyone was going to come over, he then took our drink orders. I asked for a blackberry sangria, and it came out 40 minutes later, its ridiculous. I can only imagine how long it would take for our food to get to our table. I don't think anyone is managing this company or are too cheap to have more staff closing and paying more attention to the customers. I work at a restaurant and this wouldn't fly by my staff. I guess the waiter was new.... People after us got their appetizers before us. The food was bland (I got the shrimp and broccoli cavatappi). The potsticker appetizer was cooked extremely dry. But I guess, what do you expect at a food chain? You get what you pay for. I guess I will stick to the usual quesadilla burger next time... How can you go wrong with that? I came to this restaurant with my friends to have some drinks after work... Also to take advantage of the happy hour that they have after 10 pm... The appetizers were delicious, the drinks were ok.... the waiter was friendly and attentive; the only bad thing was that they took so long to serve our food... but in overall I enjoyed the experience there. read more

The service is really good. My waiter, Justin, was very good at making sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our meal. However the one reason id give this review a 4 out 5 is because the fries were a bit stale. They didnt taste as good as i expected. I was there not too long ago and the fries were amazing that time. I like the food at Applebee's. Their food is good and the price is reasonable. Especially, 2 for 20 is kicking ass. I always get 2 for 20 every time I go to Applebee's. This deal does not have a lot of options for the main meal, but they all taste good. The only thing I was not happy is that when I did take-out last time. I ordered 2 for 20 and when I paid, I paid cash. I gave the person who took the order exact money. The person's name who took my order was Faith. When I paid, Faith said tips are not included, and then I said "well, I am doing take-out". As soon as I said that, she gave me a dirty look. I have never seen any servers asking tips for take-out. If I am going to leave tips for what I am spending, I rather eat in at the restaurant and get a full service than doing take out. I came to this restaurant after church. I was seated almost immediately. A waiter came by and took my order for drinks. Then I didn't see him again. Thankfully Thomas, another waiter came to my rescue. He was courteous and polite. He took my order for Bourbon street steak and root beer. The order came in about ten minutes, pretty good since I had ordered medium well. The steak was a little too salty for my taste. The waiter came and enquired how I liked the food. The manager also came by. The overall experience was ok but the quality of the food was average. His service is nothing less than amazing and accommodating. He shows enthusiasm and kindness that's not seen in many places these days. Whoever is managing this Applebee's needs to get their s#@t together and train their staff correctly. I know this isn't a four star restaurant but just some good solid service would have been nice. Although our waitress was friendly it took her hella long to acknowledge we were there and another 10 minutes to just get a glass of water. We ordered our drinks and apps. After waiting an eternity the apps came out--before the drinks. Our waitress cheerfully plunked down the apps and left us with no cutlery, no plates, no napkins, and no drinks. When she finally brought our drinks she again left us hanging with no cutlery, no napkins, no plates. So we got to watch our food get cold before we ate it. When she finally brought the tableware she gave us one napkin. My husband actually had to chase her down for more napkins. Then the main meal came and was thrown on to our table by the ever so charming Runner who screamed out each dish as she slammed it down in front of us. I was wondering what made her so angry. Just walking out of this location. The worst, poorest service I've ever had. No greeting when we walked in. They just looked at us like we were bothering them. We just wanted a couple of drinks and apps.the place wasn't even busy for a Fri night at 8:30 pm. Our server didn't come to us after 13 mins sitting there waiting. Took our order. Drinks took 16 mins to receive. Our apps which we ordered 4 of, we only received 2. I had to wave him down 14 mins later and ask him if they forgot our other two apps. He apologized and said he'd come right back with them. The dude disappeared.We waited another 22 mins and still a no show. That's when I had to talk to the manager.Told her what happened. She didn't seemed bothered at all. I asked to pay for our two drinks and two apps. She comped the food and offer to give us two apps free to take home. Highly disappointed. Been coming here for many years yet I was made to feel like I did not belong in this establishment. Out for a quick drink while doing takeout but it all turned for the worse. They seated a woman and child by the bar section, not a good idea when people are having an adult conversation. Got yelled at from across the room by said other badly seated party because I cussed. OK annoyed but understood and all needed action taken. oh btw kid didn't even know what was happening, only the mom action made it become a situation so sorry kid in all ways possible you are gonna need it. This is the worst Applebee's experience I have ever had. Mind you I travel for work as an IT Consultant so I have had Applebee's all over. Needless to say the my waitress pleasant. Tried to do a carside order and was put on hold 3 different times. When they finally picked up, they ended up hanging up on me when i was describing the car i was going to be in. After FINALLY getting my food, the steak was dry, mac and cheese was dry, the shrimp parmesan that we asked for was dry. The shrimp itself didnt even look like it had sauce on it. OK, while it is not quite bad enough to rate 1 star (which, for me, requires awfulness above and beyond simple neglectfulness), it comes close. I've been to other Applebee's, and found them to be decent as far as chain restaurants go, but, even though we give this place a chance every 2-3 years (pretty much after every time we have a pleasant experience at another Applebee's), it always disappoints. Some problems are based on the kind of restaurant it is (unsupervised children screaming and running around), but we have experienced problems from "Would you like some food with your salt?" to getting several pieces of tableware with encrusted dirt which, when brought to the manager's attention, we were unable to get the message across that it was something that she might consider being concerned about. read more

Unlike the Paramus location, this location does not get ridiculously busy and the staff are all pleasant. Overall, a place I would go back to if they still have this promotion, but I'll hold off on the burger. A side note, burgers are usually what I order in these chain restaurants, so my standards for burgers tend to be quite high. read more

Our drinks came quickly but everything after went downhill. After waiting 30 minutes, we were getting restless. The server was everywhere seemingly forgetting about us. 45 minutes later I walked up to the hostess asking for our food and a manager because if not we were ready to walk out. I just had the worst experience with curbside to go. I came and waited for 10 minutes and no one came to greet me. I got out and walked in, and no one greeted me until one waiter said you have to pat at the bar. I ended up paying at the bar and waited for them to give me my food.
