First time ever coming to this Applebee's and ever in my life! This place was great, host and waitress that took care of us were friendly and courteous. They had dollar margaritas that night since they informed us of their specials. Their food was very good actually, took a bit of a wait, wasn't disappointed. I thought this place would be loud but actually it was pretty quiet. The general manager was there too and was going table to table chatting with customers making everyones dine in experience more inclusive which I really liked. Definitely like this place! read more

Not sure how they keep good help, food is less than ok, menu boring, experience disappointing. Service was good, dining area tired

JESSICA!.. SHE MADE OUR VISIT VERY VERY ENJOYABLE!.. spoke to the manager about her and everything! The food was on point, hot.. I would complain if I had to, but not here! read more

Apple Bees is so good I would recommend food service was great hospitality was awesome waitress was amazing prices are reasonable

Jessica was not kind, she said I don't get my food because I'm black and I deserved to wait like the old days.

Kylee!!! Your the best. My friend, her grandaughter and I enjoyed every minute we were there. I found my new favorite appetizer I have ever had anywhere. The chicken wonton tacos...yum yum, and the sweetest and best waitress around. Your timing was awesome and your smile made us warm on the coldest day of the year. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for listening to us old broads tell our stories. read more

This place was terrible. We got 2 for $25 or around that. For an appetizer we got the side salad. Underneath the top layer were buried brown slimy lettuce. See the picture attached, we picked them out and put them in a cup. Our burgers came and when I picked up my burger it was disgusting. The bun was covered with grease. Then I looked up in horror because when my wife took a bite of hers what can only be described as a waterfall of grease ran from her burger to the plate. The whole meal was gross. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - This picture is extremely forgiving. The lettuce was slimy and browner than pictured. The white things on top and bottom were straw paper. - Sports Bars Near Me - Elyria, Ohio

Nice lunch at Applebees today. Lots of establishments are closed in this area. Wonton tacos were delicious. Good wings. Chicken sandwich was ok, just over cooked . Brownie bite was small by design. Great service. read more

We stopped here on our way from Michigan and Jess was our bartender/server- we could not have been happier with the service! She was very personable, attentive, and funny! I got a perfect margarita and it was delicious. For our entree we split a spicy honey mustard chicken sandwich and it was delicious!! Great service all around. Thank you! read more

Me and my friend walked into this Applebee's at 11 pm. We walked in and there was NO ONE on the floor. Not a server, bar tender... Anything. We stood/sat there for about 15 minutes with noone to acknowledge us. When a server finally came out and a bar tender they looked in our direction and did not acknowledge us. We wanted nothing but a drink or two no food. I usually try to give people and establishments the benefit of the doubt but not today. The bar tender finally did acknowledge us and asked us if we were waiting for doordash or a table. We said a table and he nodded at us but that was it. We stayed for about 5 more minutes but eventually just walked out. Because we were fed up. We ended up finding another bar to go too. You should have up that by a certain time you stop taking walking in orders and drinks so that any walkins dont expect too much. read more

We were in town visiting an elderly family member who wanted to go to Applebee's so that's where we took her. I wasn't excited about going to Applebee's but wasn't going to deprive Grandma of her favorite restaurant. Furthermore, this is Elyria and our choices are limited. I was very pleased with the food quality and staff attentiveness. The restaurant appears to have been refreshed in last few years. The hostess was patient with us and gave us a large table that accommodated our wheelchair rolling right up to it. Nice! Food quality was 3.5 to 4.0 stars: good ribs, burgers, and 6oz steak. Tortilla chips were somewhat greasy and fries portion on small side. Cook time was so-so but the superior service and happy grandma makes five stars! Thank you Applebee's for providing a fun family dinner. read more

Hands down worst burger I've had. Also got the $1 add on boneless wings and they were old tasting and cold.

Ordered extra shrimp. Receipt says add 6 shrimp and that's all I got. My first time trying this. I don't understand how the original amount that comes with the meal was left out and I ordered for there to be extra. I hope someone will respond to Me about this. read more

I ordered the 2 for $20 deal (includes an app and 2 entrees). We ordered a spinach and artichoke dip with chips, a steak, Chinese chicken salad, quesadilla, and a blueberry, chicken salad. The dip was pretty tasty. But the steak, Chinese chicken salad and quesadilla were SALTY. The deals are that, but because of the preparation, I was not impressed. read more

Subpar food, small portion sizes, and bad service. This Applebees does a great job of underwhelming. That's the only thing they were good at. We walked in at 11:50, and they didn't close until 1, and the restaurant was steady with other tables. Our server Amanda treated us like we ruined her whole day, she complained to us about how she had to take our table. And 3 minutes after our food was served she already was having us fill out our checks, I was planning on getting desert but not after that. I work in a restaurant, I work late, I get it; but we came in 70 minutes before closing when there were plenty of tables sat. Amanda was rude, and pushy. When ordering, she kept asking us if we were sure that we wanted the food we ordered and asked us if we wanted other dishes that cost more(my food was 14.67 and definitely wasn't the cheapest on the menu). As we were still eating our food she kept asking us if we could hurry up, and then asked to take our plates even though it was clear we were still eating. Amanda was not a good server, and the food was very mediocre. read more

This used to be the best Applebee's in Lorain county. At least it used to beat Lorain's location. We've never been to the Avon location. But our last visit left a bad taste in our mouth. We were greeted by friendly people. Our waitress took our drink and app order quickly and then our main course. It took us a 1/2 hour to get our app. We didn't see the waitress for a long time and she asked if we'd gotten it yet. No. Then she went in the back. More waiting. Finally, the manager came out with the app but no extra plates to put the food on. A brief apology wasn't enough. So after ordering our app it took a total of 1/2 hour to finally get our app and we did have a manager out in the restaurant as well as waitresses looking at us with only our drink orders with us. Yeah, we only came to Applebeess for the overpriced sodas. We liked our waitress. But having to wait so long and the restaurant not even being busy and the menu just couldn't beat what other restaurants offer. read more

Food is always amazing and recently tried the door dash delivery and was amazing totally awesome

One of the best steaks around amd any issues we have had we addressed and fixed right away this is one of our favorite places to eat

We come here frequently as its one of the last choices for dinner out in Elyria. Today, my son and I stopped in for lunch. We had the spinach and artichoke dip, the Chicken Cavatappi and the chicken tenders platter on the 2 for $20 menu. The food was excellent especially the Cavatappi. A great deal for the price! The only reason for the 4 stars on today's visit was the waitress. I had to ask for my water twice and when i asked for a lemon again as it was forgotten, she was not very nice about it. read more

Lazy, bad service. Left me sitting at carside to go for 15 minutes without coming out to check and see if I had an order.

Though we would give their pick up a try during this time of no open dining rooms. Placed our order online, went and got it, should have checked the bags before we left. Got home and found the appetizer was missing from the order. Called the store and got through after about 12 tries, and as it was close to closing and I didn't want the rest of my food to get cold, the manager said she would drop a coupon in the mail. That was 2 weeks ago so I am assuming we are just screwed out of the money. The food was pretty good, but not worth the cost when factoring in the missing items. Won't do the curbside again, for sure. Will have to consider before going back. read more

The food was average but I had to give a 5 star review for our fabulous waitress, Jess. She ran that restaurant like she owned it! Hostess, waitressing, help bring out food, bartend, Bus tables, bring checks and she didn't even looked stressed! If I owned a restaurant in the area I'd steal her away. I can't remember when I've seen an employee like her. Amazing! read more

This place is Awesome! The portions are huge here compared to other Applebee's. The owner here is super nice to. While I was dining he was walking around asking people how the food is. He even took a salad off a customer's bill because she didn't like it. Very impressed will come here again. read more

It's July 25 and I'm here for my friends dinner. The reservation was for 8:00 and almost everyone got here before then and was seated. A server finally came over to give us our drink at 8:25 and those took even longer to come out. Finally our drinks came out but me and my one friend ordered water with lemon. LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN WATER WITH LEMON! They told us that the water with lemon would take a little longer to come out and mind you the have the Alex's Lemonade Stand charity logo everywhere. If you guys don't know what Alex's mission is it basically lemons. So you tell me they could just grab a lemon from the many vases that they had laying around and cut up a lemon and put it in this tap water they serve. Finally we get our food at 9 probably past that and I'm the last one to get mine. The waitress left put my food on the table and got everyone else's and almost left mine on the table until my friend reaches over and grabs it or me. It was good but I was hungry for a while and don't have a drink for the longest. This service was very poor and I don't think I'll be back. read more
