The last two times I've been to this location, there is always no soap and no paper towels in the men's room. How can I be the only one to notice? I mention to the staff and they can't even give me a confirmation it's restocked 20 minutes later. Very lackadaisical. Given them the benefit of the doubt twice that they are washing their hands elsewhere and that perhaps the inventory just ran out. But my stomach always ends up paying for that decision. The food and service was absolutely awful. The waitress who was serving us only "checked" on us when she was dropping off something. We seen her a total of 3 or 4 times within our hour and twenty minute time there. My mother got a steak while I got the chicken breast. Both were Luke warm and tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. The only hot thing on our plates was the mashed potatoes. The service at this Applebee's is absolutely horrible. The waitress failed to give us refills while we waited 45 minutes for our food to come out. We then saw her behind the bar talking with her coworkers neglecting our needs. I have never worked as a waitress but I know as much that we should not have to ask for refills. She lacked checking up on the table periodically, almost felt like she was avoiding us. We asked for a side of cheese with our pretzels and that took her at-least 15 mins to attempt to grab, we told her never mind because of how long it was taking. She then charged us for the cheese that we never got She then would not give us a receipt with the corrected amount, she told us "I rather knock it all out at once" Clearly, as you never wanted to check on our table and spend the time to get us anything else. Like I said seemed like she was avoiding us. Another error, she charged my card twice as we had multiple bills for different people. This led me to have to drive back to the Applebee's to get the manager to correct this mistake. All to find out that if she just told me she voided the second charge that it would refund me but she didn't do that so it looked like I was charged twice. Absolutely horrible service and they will unfortunately never see me in this building again. Sad to see waitresses not working for their money. Dear yelp community, I am truly in raged that I just spent the last two hours with my wonderful girlfriend sitting at this so-called "restaurant". This was undoubtably the most beautiful experience I've ever had and more importantly, the biggest waste of money, and time. I decided to get the all you can eat boneless wings and to my surprise they sucked. The waitress would only come every 15 to 20 minutes so by the time I finished my 5 to 6 wings I was sitting there waiting and waiting just to get another order. All said and done I only got three orders of wings, and none of them were even that good. Keep in mind this was over the span of two hours. Also, our waitress did not even give us water until an hour and a half into our meal. I asked her for water no less than four times. I do not like throwing shade at waiter or waitress is because I understand it is a very hard job, so maybe this lady was just having a bad day but, I've never had such horrible service in my entire life . I strongly, strongly advise that you do not decide to go to this Applebee's. It is a absolute nightmare horrorshow. I know this isn't my usual yelp style, but I am truly so upset right now that I just ruined my date night evening by going here. The only reason I'm giving one star is because you have to at least put one star in order to post a review. This was an absolute zero star experience. That is all help community. We both wanted a quick bite to eat and a mudslide after I got off work. We met at 11:30pm. The place was fairly busy but we were seated right away. The service was great! Our waitress made sure we were all taken care of. We both ordered a mudslide (probably should have split one because we both barely had half! So huge) delicious though! I had the chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend had the brisket quesadilla. I had a free coupon thanks to yelp check in and my boyfriend's was half off thanks to happy hour. This was heading for a five star, but there was a bit of an issue. First they had a great check-in offer which was a free app, so kudos. We started with mozzarella sticks and as in the past, they were delightful. We haven't been here in years, but they're still good. The location had also been remodeled, so it has a nice feel. We got chicken tenders and Santa Fe wrap and added salads. Now here's the rub; the chicken was good as was the wrap, but one of our salads had a lil bug in it. Nothing crazy, maybe some sort of fruit type fly or garden buggy flying thing. The staff was very responsive and took the salad off the bill, but also took the chicken tenders off. Now I think some may rate them lower, but I think it was handled well, and we've had some unfortunate luck with salads lately. The prices have raised, but so have the menu items. Overall I think the place has potential; I enjoyed the food while the wife didn't like any of it, so hence the mid-ground 3 review I guess. read more

Applebee's has changed a lot in recent times and it's all for the better! For starters -- their menu has been revamped and expanded. Gone are some of the old favorites (RIP Oriental Chicken Rollup and Southwest Salad) but hello, pretzels, sandwiches, and thai shrimp salad! Their burger list is also quite expansive if that's your forte. Always remember to check out their appetizers as well. I recommend the aforementioned pretzel sticks and onion rings. Seriously, the cheese for the pretzels is to die for! Served hot with plenty of flavor that isn't too much of a spicy kick. Don't want to spend the money on apps? They still offer half off appetizers at a certain time too. If you're looking into the 2 for $20 of 2 for $25 menu, you can also order an entree from either side and the waitress will be gladly split the bill for you. It should come out to $23 for so (apparently most don't realize this!) Service has improved so much since my last review. Chesterfield may lack some good chain restaurants but at least I know I can count on Applebee's for quality food and good services. Only complaint is that it's sometimes chilly inside. I am going to preface this review with the fact that they truly deserve 0 stars. Amazing server, terrible manager. The last time my friend and I came to this location we ordered the all you can eat boneless wings and after we finished as much as we could, we got a BOX for the rest. We came again, and this abomination of a restaurant couldn't give us boxes. Nobody comes here as it is, and all this chicken will now be wasted all because they want to do the "right thing". There are many starving people out in the world with no food, and they're just gonna throw away all that chicken anyway. It doesn't say all you can eat boneless wings HERE. (The option for burgers there is pink or no pink) By the time the waitress came back to check on us after we got our food and sat with empty drinks it was after 8:00 and we were ready to go so we had them throw our remake in carryout boxes.
