I've been getting their quesadilla burger (via carryout) and I have to say that I'm addicted. This time I swapped out the steak fries for a side salad and was surprised to see how big the container was! For that size, it's every bit worth the $3.49 extra, especially when they have a nice selection of dressings and you can leave off what you don't like. Had lunch on 6/2 good meal I left a $4.03 tip on $20.97 bill for total of $25.00. Checked credit card on my bank and was charged $40.97 on 6/3. On 6/4 went back to resturant to question the charge. They said they didn't know why but saw my signature and total of $25.00. And said it had to goto corporate for a refund. Went back to resturant on 6/16 to get an update and was told they would check with corporate office for status. It is now 6/23 and no refund. Probably going to visa to file a Complaint with them to get it corrected. Be sure to check statements to verify charges on credit cards. read more

First time at this restaurant but a big Applebee's fan. It was Friday at five and people were coming and going. We Sat at the bar and were greeted with a smile. The bar top was clean and menus available. Our Drinks were produced quickly especially for being so busy. Our burgers came out hot and fast. The atmosphere was clean and the displays pleasant. It's just an average Applebees- solid food, decent service and safe to eat at for people with intolerances. The last time we were there, there was a bit of a wait but in Charlotte on a Saturday night; that's to be expected. Horrible customer service. My husband and I came in were waiting to be seated then another couple came in behind us. The gentleman, our hostess came out, got our silverware and menus and as he was getting ready to seat us, Then a woman ( with a brown t shirt on)came from the kitchen , hugged the young couple and congratulated them on something behind us (apparently the gentleman works here also), took our menus and silverware from ou hostess and proceeded to take the other couple to our seats and we were left waiting again to be seated. VERY unprofessional, I did not want to eat here after that, only reason I did was because my husband was hungry. Also the "free appetizer if we don't suggest one of these drinks" is a lie. Weren't asked, offered or mentioned about any of these drinks and when asked about it the waitress said it was up to their discretion if they wanted to ask or not. And FYI we are in our 40's so she had nothing to do with it . So FALSE advertising!! There were atleast 10 tables large enough for our party of 6 but the manager didn't allow us to seated because Applebee's has a policy that the table must be greeted within 2 minutes after being seated?? At a time when the restaurant was half empty she insisted we be left standing because of a "policy". Policy is king at Applebee's instead of the Customers. We are very happy with this Applebee's separation of booths and tables all through the pandemic. Their food here is delicious although the menu seems to have changed and a couple of our old favorites have disappeared sadly. PARTIAL FAIL...my daughter and were here, today, around 4pm. It was pretty much empty inside at that time. My daughter ordered the prime rib dip sandwich and the spinach artichoke dip/chips appetizer. She said the sandwich " tasted like it was microwaved for 2 minutes" and the chips were " stale"...and they were..I tried one and I thought it broke my molar and I spat it out. The bright spot was our waiter, Michael! He is a gem..professional and attentive! Shame on the kitchen for serving lackluster food! You're lucky my daughter asked me NOT to say anything while we were there! People have been locked down for sooooooo long...the restaurant was NOT that busy, and still you served sh*t to my daughter. Thank you, Michael...this does NOT reflect on you!! I'm pretty easy going and have been in the service industry...I know the pace can be breakneck sometimes. However, today, it was not busy and whomever made that sandwich and plated the crap chips...SHAME ON YOU and you're lucky my daughter asked me to not make a fuss at the restaurant. Wait. Can I give negative stars? First off, being a waitress in a high end restaurant, I feel the need to give you some pointers. 1. Employees on break, should not be able to sit and eat their dinner on the service floor. 1) it causes distraction every single time you ask our waitress to get you a "boat of ranch" when you know damn well where the ranch is since, like I said, you're on your break. 2) Don't call our waitress over to talk to you and shoot the shit when we haven't even ordered our dinners yet, our drinks have been empty for 10 minutes and you forgot to grab our beers that have been sitting on service bar for 10 minutes and are now Luke warm. 2. The second that your table puts an order in for an appetizer, turn around and bring them app plates and maybe a roll-up. Forcing your guest to either eat with their fingers like barbarians or wait for the nasty cheeseburger egg rolls to cool down to a point of being cold, just isn't good for business, ya know? Okay. 3. Do not disappear into the kitchen for 20 minutes. Or go to smoke a cig or whatever it is that you were doing. You had our table and the other table, aka the only other table of yours, to look around the restaurant aimlessly like a lost bird looking for its mother. 4. I do have to say that our waitress was mortified after we began to order and I just immediately cut off my fiancé and asked for the check instead. After flailing our arms around and trying to talk over her friends that were on break, I would be mortified too. Take it as a lesson learned. I have been coming to this Applebee's since I was 12 and I am now 23. I don't know I continue to go back time and time again because it's truly like a really shitty relationship with a bad boyfriend who cheats on you constantly but you keep running back like a little lost puppy. My husband and I have gone for dinner a couple times this month and the food and servers are always awesome!

Food was good and service was good but i feel i was ripped off. I order the ribblets platter. It has always came with 5 over the years. I asked why it only came with 3. Asked if it was a plate instead. He said no it was the platter but due to covid and meat shortages it only comes with 3 unless you ask for the other two. I said well yes i would like it. He got me 3 and two little chunk pieces. Everything was good. Got the bill. charged 10.99 for another basket. I asked him why. He show me he took two dollars off.
