Food was great but atmosphere was horrible. Ashley was the biggest jerk ever to her co-workers and confrontational to customers. The bartender has the sourest face I've ever seen. She looked dirty and unkept, and didn't look like she wanted to be there. When our party was leaving, the hostess never looked up at us and never said thank you for joining us or have a good night or anything else. She couldn't be bothered. By far, worst experience ever. I am on a very specialized diet, so I ordered a Southwest Salad, but specifically requested that the rice and chip strips be removed. When my salad arrived, I was very disappointed to see that 3/4 of it was rice, and there were a few little chip strips in it too. After I removed the part I could eat, I took a photo of how much rice there was, all of which ended up in the trash. My sister ordered the Penne Alfredo. She says it was "edible", however it certainly wasn't good. She could only eat about a quarter of it because it just wasn't good. It didn't taste at all like Alfredo, but more like a white cheese sauce, or perhaps a watered down Alfredo. The breadsticks were hard and kinda chewy. They weren't even worth eating. read more

Tonight was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant anywhere. We invited our daughter out to enjoy a meal and to visit. we put our name in with the desk and we're optimistic because there were empty tables, booths and high top tables. we were told 15 minutes. ok. so 25 minutes later I could count 15 empty tables and no one being called. There wer waitresses standing around and they were grumbling. There was a manager in a dirty pink golf shirt, shirt tail hanging out. I asked what the sea was. he rudely replied that it would be a few more minutes. I told him never mind we were leaving. I used a swear word and he went ballistic. Kicked us out and said to never come back. no problem! on our way out he bumped into me and said in a loud voice to not touch him or he would call law enforcement. No problem. We have had great experiences here and horrible experiences here. Waiters need to be trained more thoroughly. The food is as expected, wait time is long and every time I order a drink it comes out slightly wrong. .. Brought my daughter in for birthday dinner and had to argue with the waitress when I asked: "What do you do for kids birthdays?" Waitress: "I'm sorry, what do you mean, 'What do WE do' for your kids birthday?" Me: "Uh gosh, usually Applebees and other chains offer a small free desert, and sing...or something." Waitress: "Well we don't sing anymore, *sigh of relief*. ..and I've never heard of us doing ANYTHING for free. If you want a desert for her you'll have to buy it yourself." Oddly, I only got the idea that they did the free ice cream on occasion because 2 of their other AWESOME waiters brought her free ice cream simply because she asked them. And they got big tips... btw. Yeesh... Shortly afterward she came out with a free small ice cream... barely redeeming her previous showdown. We still go, because who can argue with a 2 for $20 dinner that actually tastes good? ? Plus, I'm obsessed with their boneless wings... but it's a gamble whether you'll get "that waitress" or if you'll luck out with the few that are actually GREAT at their job. Say to my son, they are gonna put it back on grill & this is after I took a bite, spit it back out, put it on plate, everyone is done, they go outside wait, she brings back steak, put it to go box, when I get home, realize they put all 3 bits I cut up, one chewed up one, back on grill, gave me a well done chewed up piece meat, Cross contamination. I really love Applebees!! Plain and simple. They have such a great selection of appetizers and drinks. I love the entrees and most of all the customer service is wonderful. The parking is great the place is clean and I love the view. A great place to stop in after a concert or coming in from out of town. I live in town and we come here all the time because we love the burgers, rib plate, salads, appetizers, oh, and the perfect margaritas. Yea!!! read more

I have always enjoyed Applebee's. Today though, I was served a Southwestern Steak salad with four small cubes of meat that was counter to the represented picture. I am a reasonable person and recognize when I am wrong and will acknowledge that when proven wrong. But this was a ridiculously small portion of meat included with the salad. The manager, Cody, said that this was normal and proceeded on his way to attempt to BS a 28 year Deputy Sheriff (I didn't tell him what I did). He said "I will remake the salad just for you". When that is said to a customer, it means it has been doctored in an improper manner. I told him that I did not trust him and would not eat the food he had "customized" just for me. As long as that "manager" is working here, don't complain about the food or as my strongest professional intuition tells me, Caveat Emptor. I would suspect a contaminated outcome not in your best interest. read more

For several years, I have been coming to this Applbees about five times a year, as it is close to the motel and airport I use when I have an early flight. I have always ordered the BBQ ribs that have always been excellent. One time the sides were less than excellent, but only once. Tonight my waitress was absolutely delightful, Amanda M (she even laughed at my jokes -- talk about going the extra mile!!). Very, but not overly, attentive and always with a charming smile. This was the first Applebee's I definitely will not be returning to eat at. Fr the start I was amazed that they clean the table by just wiping the food and napkins still on the table straight on the floor. Not just our table but after we were seated the did the same for two more tables. Nothing like having to tippy toe around food to get to your table. Very disgusting and no employee seemed to care. Also after wiped down you sat on a Very wet seat and table was very wet. As for the food, soup was luke warm at best. Salad was also just very plain. Very disappointed and what is sad is it seemed to be routine for this place. It would never happen at others I have been to. Walked out as feeling no one cared and need for a tetanus shot. read more

The food at Applebee's is good....the service however -- slow...slow....slow Was seated immediately - good. Waited at least 10-15 min. for our waitress to come over - gave her our drink order ( just water) 10 MORE MINUTES for our water to come to our table. I could not believe how slow she was. Walked slow, talked slow etc... Like she was just "hanging out" at Applebee's - not working there. We finally ordered - again, food took forever - and was not hot when we received it. Barely warm. Made me wonder how long it had been sitting, waiting at the counter. Quickest thing she did was give us our check. Took forever to get my credit card back & it kind of made me nervous because I couldn't find her so we could actually leave. Next time - I will make sure not to sit in her area.
