My co-workers and I stopping in at about quarter past 10 for drinks and appetizers and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the place was busy, but not too busy to accommodate our large party. Our waitress was friendly, upbeat, and very attentive. Even when closing time came around and we lingered a little long (sorry!) the staff was still friendly and not pushy at all. My husband & I have had bad luck with Applebee's in the past, we decided to give this location a try & have had mostly good luck. We've gone numerous times over the past year & have had maybe 2 bad experiences, usually with service. They have good drink specials & delicious appetizers. I went to Applebee's last night with a few people. It happened to be trivia night so we played. It was a blast! It was nicely run and a blast to play! Our waitress was exceptional and very personable and it appeared the waitstaff was very attentive to all. I would recommend anyone try trivia night on Mondays for a fun night out. read more

The food was good. I especially liked the fries, and the fact that they serve Mountain Dew. The service was atrocious. I didn't even see my server from when she dropped off my food until she came to take my plate away and ask if I wanted dessert. I had to ask another server for mustard for my burger, and even she walked by me the first time I tried to catch her, although I could tell she was keeping close tabs on her customers. As far as Applebee's go, this is a good one! It's never super busy so you can get a table fairly easily. Food quality and service are good & Waiter's/Waitresses are usually friendly. I would definitely hit this location again. read more

We love Applebees in Augusta, Maine! The bartenders are great! They remember us when we return. The food is great! Especially the 1/2 price appetizers at 9pm! Applebees is as close as Augusta gets to a "where everybody knows your name" kinda place! read more

Worst service and dining experience was had tonight! Server didn't have a clue and the manager was back in forth in the bathroom 5 or 6 times, then proceeded to clean tables and talk to guest when you could clearly tell he was sick! We will never go back to this Applebee's again! read more

Food, drinks, and prices are reasonable. Service, not so much. Ive been on multiple occasions where the waitresses have an attitude and are not even close to friendly. They had multiple great waitresses a few years ago, but clearly has gone down hill fast. Will not be returning due to the way I was treated. read more

went to Applebee's for supper 2/12/2021 didnt get my whole meal ordered 2 of the same meal and was missing a side on one order,also asked for no bbq sause on one baby back rib and it was loaded,was not happy at all with our meal,was too far away to go back and have them fix it will not go there in the future. read more

My wife and I went to the bar section and sat for 15 min while bar tender cut pineapple and never ask us for our order and never looked up for me to get her attention without yelling to her. So we left never to return. read more

If there was an option to not give a star, thats what I would choose. The applebees car side to go WAS AN ABSOLUTE DISSAPOINTMENT. We were celebrating my birthday at work today, and the rule with birthdays is you get to pick lunch! My first thought was... APLEBEES SOFT PRETZELS and BEER CHEESE!. So lunch time came, we all placed our orders and gathered the money up ( which the order taker on the phone told us he could not provide an ACTUAL total.) SERIOUSLY?! ... (and then complained we didnt have the right amount when we got there.) have you ever heard of that!? Long story short, when we got the food in the office, 3/4 of it didnt get eaten... or it was thrown away due to how GROSS it was.... $70 later. When we called to explain what happend the person on the phone said " that why personally i dont get take out" Im not sure who he was, but WHAT KIND OF EMPLOYEE SAYS THAT? needless to say we will not be getting applebees for lunch AGAIN, and I honestly feel bad for anyone who orders from here.... what a dissapointment they will be getting! and thanks for the NOT SO GREAT birthday lunch :) read more

Food was okay but waiter was not. I opted out of the soft drink suggestion but was not offered water. Had to ask. We ordered our food and the waiter asked us if we'd like to do the two meals and appetizer for $20 deal. We said, "sure" and received our order which was fine. When we got the bill, it was quite a bit more than we expected. We asked the waiter about the discrepancy. He told us that one of the items we ordered, could not be included in the two for twenty, deal. It would have been nice of him to tell us so, beforehand. It was only a matter of four dollars or so and we didn't go there, expecting any kind of deal but were led to believe that we were getting one and we were not. All in all, it left a bad taste in my mouth and I doubt we would go back. read more

not a bad place to eat. food is always good, and the service is great too. sometimes i feel over cluttered with the standard decor they have. but it is like that in all applebee's, so that is to be expected. drinks are good there though not really strong. prices are good, and the kids meals are nice. only place i will bring the kids to eat here in town! read more

I would NOT recommend the curb side to go option for anyone!! we have tried three times at work to have an enjoyable meal from Applebees and have been disappointed every time!! the first time we called in our order and the lady on the other end was extremely rude and snappy and when we went to pick up our orders we found out she was a manager.... great customer service!! NOT!! i personally wrote a letter to management that day and received no response at all regarding our horrible service... this last time was the same deal, snappy and rude and to top it off horrible food. Not impressed with their service i def believe they need to be trained. I work with the public too and try to treat my customers with respect and kindness the same way i would like to be treated and when i am on the other side of that and get treated rudely i take that to heart..... i think i'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more
