The food was typical bar food frozen heated and served at least what we all ordered. Server nice and friendly. She didn't deliver our food it was another person so I guess they don't read orders before delivering the food our order came out wrong. Not a lot of people but I would say under staffed. I moved to 3 different tables to find one that didn't wobble. When we sat down it was obvious they had not wiped the booth a straw and crumbs left from who knows. It was DEAD, like we were one of two parties in the entire restaurant at 9:00pm on a Friday night. Plenty of workers, all talking in groups and one was even laying down in a booth relaxing..... maybe this is why we waited FOREVER. We never got drink refills, was ignored for over 30 minutes. Very disappointing experience at Applebee's. We waited for a while to be seated while a waitress stood right in front of us talking with customers who had clearly already finished their meals. The good was the blacken cajun salmon and the mashed potatoes. But the broccoli yuck. Someone put way way way too much salt. I could not enjoy it. It was the worst. Be aware you may need to let them know in advance to not over due it on the salt for your broccoli. I did a mobile order and pick up. The app doesn't have any where to make a preference on your order. They may want to update the app so anyone with high blood pressure can give the info to be more successful on seasoning broccoli. read more

Not our first time in this restaurant, but it was not the best either! Server was an older man and was slow, unhelpful and repeatedly unavailable even tho there were only 5 tables eating in the whole place. For example, I asked what the Seasoned Broccoli was seasoned with and he just said "It's broccoli". When my partner asked if they had Garlic Fries, he just confirmed "Fries" on the ticket. Burger was ordered with No Pickles... yup, there were pickles on the burger. (Kitchens fault, not the server- it was on the ticket). This man is the only reason my review is 4 stars instead of 5. Read on... On the plus side the young man who seated us was helpful and pleasant and available every time we needed something. Guess who got an additional tip?! I'm hoping someone in Mgmt sees this and recognizes that this young man was pleasant and constantly busy cleaning, filling, seating, fetching napkins and go-boxes and so on. Service was terrible. We had seven people in our party and it took us a minimum of 20 minutes to get waited on. All the food didn't come out the same time by the time we got out of there we were there an hour and 45 minutes because they had no help whatsoever. The bathrooms in the ladies, restroom overflowed, and one lady had to take care of us in the bathroom while there were two managers sitting in the back my understanding because I asked. When did Applebee's get so bad??? It seems like their menu has changed for the worse. We were a small party of four; one of us is a vegetarian. Besides a plain salad, there was really nothing for vegetarians. If you are a vegetarian, find somewhere else to eat. Three of the four orders came out first; tacos, fajitas, and steak. When the food was served we had no utensils. We sat for a few minutes waiting to see if our waiter was going to give us utensils...nope. When we finally asked for it, he had the nerve to say, "well, you have one more plate coming?" Really, dude???? Finally the Hostess went into the kitchen and brought us some utensils and my knife was filthy. Since they didn't have anything vegetarian, the vegetarian ordered the classic chicken parmesan pasta and asked them to put the chicken and sauce on the side. She was only going to eat the pasta and we were going to eat the chicken. The dish came out with sauce and chicken on top. So they had to take it back. 5 minutes later they come back with the pasta on one plate and chicken and sauce to the side. I think they rinse the pasta and threw it back on the plate. My friend ate a few bites and couldn't eat anymore. She said it didn't taste right. Also, she order a drink and told them to hold the ice, it came with ice...lots of it. I took my mom out to eat for her birthday on the 27th here I had never been to this Applebee's in my life mind you.As soon as we sit down the manager walked up too us and demanded we pay first because we supposedly dine and dashed before. I was extremely upset about the accusations and my mom was crying after I payed her came back to our table to apologize and offered me free onion rings and my mom a free drink and a 25 dollar gift card saying he was sorry he profiled us and he mistook us for another group. Applebee's tends to catch a lot of flack because it's a chain restaurant, but this one doesn't have that feel. The staff is inviting and friendly. The ever-changing menu is always full of great options, and the food is above average. Today, our waitress was attentive but not bothersome, full of smiles and positivity. My sandwich was perfect. Fresh and hot, bursting with flavor. The pub fries were fabulous. I highly recommend trying these while they are available, but don't let them sit. Eat them while the cheese is good and melty. The one item that I usually order that cant be screwed up, you guessed it, was screwed up. I ordered an oriental chicken salad and somehow ended up with Cole slaw. I was severely disappointed and pissed when I opened my container and figured out half a bag of Cole slaw was dumped on the bottom and a couple of chunks of what was romaine tossed on top. Didn't even have the decency to chop it up. Its literally the entire leaf. By far the worst experience I've had! I'm trying to figure out how this atrocity happens when there is literally no one there and there is plenty of time to prepare a proper meal. That'll teach me. We got the 2 for 20 and it seems like the food was sitting out for hours and then they just rewarmed it in the microwave then threw it in a bag to go. The lime chicken was hard all around the edges with hardened cheese attached. The rice was undercooked and over warmed. The wings we ordered were ok but they didn't give us the bbq sauce on the side as asked.
