Apple a day keeps a doctor away! Super old fashioned service got a classic feeling being here ! I think all the apples were cool my favorite is the honey crisp ! The black apples we went there for not going to be ready for another 2 weeks !!!! But at least got my donuts that's all matters ! This is a quaint, family owned orchard that has been producing apples, jellies, etc. for decades. They have a great selection of apples that changes out with the different harvesting times. Jellies, jams, and preserves are also made and sold here. There are different sizes to choose from as well. They also produce sauces, pickled items, and pastries. There are a few items from other local producers such as sorghum syrup, popping corn, beeswax products, and goat cheese. PS--don't forget to get yourself some of the apple cider. I have never been to an apple orchard in Tennessee but I've been in other states. Their selection was awesome and the prices were just right. I especially enjoyed the baked goods which were heavenly. My favorites are the fried apple pie and the apple fritters. You must definitely check this place out and they have awesome southern hospitality read more

I hope the apple pies and apples are better than the customer service today. The lady at check out acted as though we were a bother. We drove 25 miles out of our way to go there. Never again! Merciers and Panorama orchards are MUCH friendlier.We will drive the extra miles next time where customer service is important. read more

Just today we experienced near to rude hospitality from the elderly lady at the register. We got there about 10am. There was an older couple leaving when we arrived. No one else was in the store. We were not disappointed in the selection even though it was skimpy. It is still early in the season. There were no apples to sample out yet and we asked if they had any that we could sample. She replied "which do you want a sample of"? I replied that I would like to be able to sample all the kinds they had for sale. She looked at me like It was a big deal and also like she didn't want us to sample. Luckily a younger man came out from the back and asked her a question that I couldn't hear, I did see her indicate toward us and she must have said we wanted some samples. He made several runs to where the apples were kept to get us samples and at least he thanked us for coming by. read more

This was truly a wasted trip. Drove hour and half to get there. They did have a good section of apples, but were on the high side. The bakery was a real disappointment. The fried pies were over cooked almost black. We went for some good ole fashion apple dumplings, was that ever a joke on us. There were 3 in the case and look dried up none of that yummy sauce you expect to have with them. And talk about small they were and packaged poorly. We did how ever purchased 2 thinking they just might fool us and be delicious, giving them a chance. There again joke on us. We sure wasted our money. They tasted like they looked. So if any of you are looking for good dumplings, etc, this not your store . So save your time and money. read more
