Very stereotypical car buying experience. The car salesman was very nice and low pressure but as soon as I got in contact with the finance guy I was pushed into adding the easy care. He did not really explain anything and if I asked a question he made me feel stupid for asking it. I felt like I was falling into a scam and honestly should have walked. I ended up cancelling the easy care after the guy tried to talk me into it by saying he's been in the car industry for longer than I've been alive. Nice work ass hole you're really moving up in the world. The most recent update is there ended up being curb rash on three of the tires that I'm fairly certain they covered up initially or regardless didn't mention anything about it. I hate that this is still the car buying experience for consumers. I would just be weary and firm with them. I love my car and had a good experience with the salesman but they need to reevaluate the boomer finance guy. read more

I bought a Durango from there but was not able to pick it up till a few days later because they had to replace the catalytic converter. About 2 days later the engine light came on and it read the Oxygen sensor and lean fuel code, I went back and they replaced the sensor and 2 days later the engine light came on again with the same codes. They had my car for a little over a week to try and fix the issue, but still was not able to fix it. I took i to a dodge dealership and they informed me the thermostat sensor and thermostat needed to be replaced, I reached out to them and even offered to pay for the replacement and I was informed they had to order the parts and will schedule an appointment once they arrive. Two weeks passed and I still hadn't received a call and my heat went out, remind you I bought my vehicle the end of November 2024, in the middle of December my heat went out and I had it to take it to another place to be repaired due to me still not hearing back. When I was there I decided to have them do an oil change just to be safe. The oil was filthy and really black like it hadn't been changed and by the end of December I had to purchase a new battery as I was informed my stop start wouldn't work due to it being disabled but the entire time to due a bad battery. I was also told while they had my truck they changed the spark plugs as that may have been a problem with the engine light being on well guess what??? I ended up having to get new spark plugs at the mechanic I took my truck to. I understand with a used vehicle it's basically as is, but I feel they could of informed me they didn't do a oil change or tune up before selling it. read more

This was my first stop on a planned two-day expedition to help my son buy his first car. We were immediately helped by Mo, who listened to what we wanted and then said, "I have the perfect car for you." He was right. Perfect car, great price, great customer service! Mo even called the next day to make sure everything was still good with the car and told us to come back in if anything goes wrong. Both he and the manger were very helpful and reassuring. Bought a used 2017 Honda Accord. My sales person Scott was very friendly and helpful answered all my questions. Decided to purchase was in great condition. After having the car 1 day noticed the blower motor was making a small but obvious noise. I returned the next day and talked with my sales guy who made a appointment to have it looked at. Brought it In the service advisor confirmed it was the blower motor but reminded it wasn't under warranty. That being said, he said he would replace it because it was the right thing to do. This may be a long review, but I PROMISE it's worth skimming through!!! My husband and I just moved to Minnesota from San Diego CA. We are a young "growing" family and everytime we had to go somewhere we would have to take two cars, however we were stuck in my car because being a military family my jeep compass had abnormally high miles, it was beat up and dirty (kids messes). They told me they would pay off my car, or come extremely close to to making it so I had no negative equity. I was for sure upside down about 3-4000$ (I thought). We all know when you go to a car dealership and you just get out and look at a few cars you usually get attacked by vulchers, pressured into buying something you arent sure about, and you get hard hits on your credit, and likely stuck with a high interest rate. This place was the BEST car buying experience that I have EVER had. I have bought 6 cars from dealerships, and I always felt so pressured. Kal and Chad gave us the information we wanted. They did NOT pressure us into anything. They actually gave us the information and gave my husband and I some private space to talk about our thoughts together. I traded in a 2015 Jeep Compass is 87k mile, all dinged up from moving so much (military), extremely dirty from kids. Every other car dealership We've dealt with has offered only 5-6k for my jeep. I owed 10,040$ at a 17% APR for pay off. We got a newer car, with a warranty, a full size SUV, third row seating... everything we need and want in a car that fits the needs of our family with only approx 1000$ negative equity, for about 1000$ less than the KBB retail value of the car. Chad was able to get us financed with only 500$ down at 11% APR, and I went from a piece of junk 2015 Jeep Compass at almost 400$ a month payments, to a new Dodge Journey, in practically mint condition, 23000$ financed and I am at the same car payment. I was SO skeptical of going there. I thought we'd be pressured. I thought we'd be followed around. After we picked out the car that we wanted, they offered me close to pay off on my trade, got us financing in about 20 minutes. This place was the BEST and QUICKEST car buying experience I have ever had. We were never hassled or pressured and they didnt pressure us when we were undecided if we wanted a hard hit on our credit... but they layed out all the "tentative" numbers for us and we moved forward. As soon as we filled out the credit app, we were out of there within an hour with the new keys to our new car. Seriously, again... BEST car buying experience EVER. Kal and Chad worked together and they got us WAY more than we expected. I would 110% reccomend these guys if you are looking for a trade in or a new car or even just want some advice. Before you even decide to visit Apple Used Auto in Shakopee, read this! The staff there is not very friendly. Not personable. Lacking social skills. They have a lot of Used Vehicles on site, but you can deal with associates from any of the other Apple dealerships (i.e. Apple Ford in Shakopee, Apple Ford in Apple Valley, etc.) whom have access to those vehicles as well. I visited Apple Used Auto, was not approved for a loan on a truck. Went home and found another one on their website. They offered me a deal, but, only AFTER, I was offered a better deal on vehicle through Apple Ford in Shakopee, did the staff at Apple Used Auto call me back and match it in attempts to try and "lure" me back. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT APPLE USED AUTO SUCKS! DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME! IF YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU LIKE ON THEIR LOT, GO TO APPLE FORD in Shakopee. Last month, after having a horrible experience at another dealership, we stopped into Apple on our way home to see what they had. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with such respect and kindness. We gave Tom a rundown of what we were looking for and was immediately presented with several options. Scott brought the cars around so we could test drive them. He answered all the questions we had (and we had a lot). Once I chose which one I wanted, Chad was extremely helpful in putting the financing through quickly. We had to leave to go pick up one of the kids. When we came back, everything was ready for us. They sold me a car that had a couple problems with it and I didn't realize it until later on because the problems didn't show up until like a month or 2 later. After having both of our vehicles totaled within two weeks, we were eager to find something safe for us and our four-month-old daughter. Having just moved and previously purchased our other cars for cash, we were hesitant to finance a new (used) car, but were worried about finding a car with great safety ratings, in good condition, and in our price range. We spent a whole day driving to dealerships all around the Twin Cities only to find cars needing a lot of mechanical work right-off-the-bat or dealing with pushy salespeople, leaving me in tears and feeling hopeless about finding anything that would work for our family. On the way home, out of desperation, we stopped by Apple Used Autos "just to see what they have" with no intention of purchasing anything. We were immediately greeted by Carol Madson, a self-proclaimed baby-lover and mother/grandmother. She immediately understood our safety concerns and vowed to help us find something we we would be comfortable with and (hopefully) by able to afford without financing. We looked at a few cars with Carol and another great salesman, Scott Trebesch, and ultimately fell in love with one slightly over our budget. Dejected, but knowing we needed to get this car for our daughter's well-being, we decided to finance some of the purchase. However, Carol, Scott, and Chad Thompson, the sales manager, worked with us and valued our trade in a way that we were able to stretch the cash we had to buy the car outright. We have so enjoyed driving our new car and know our daughter is safe and comfortable in it! While we have no intention of returning the vehicle, knowing they have a very reasonable return policy and warranty (at least on the particular car we purchased) gives me peace of mind. The non-commission sales and no-hassle pricing and trade-in valuing made the experience such a vast improvement over our interactions with other dealers. It will be a long time before we need to replace this car, but when we do, Apple Used Autos has just earned new customers for life! read more
