Went to the apple store in Danbury fair mall. I was promptly helped by Ian. I was shopping for an Apple Watch and he went over all of the Watch options with me. He answered any questions I had and was very helpful. Really loving the Watch I got and AirTags. The only thing in the store I can't stand is there aren't any prices on the items anymore they have a tablet that you can scroll through which doesn't make sense sanitizers wise. Who wants to touch the same product as the last person. They should display prices like they used to and also have someone walking around sanitizing the electronics everyone is touching.

I was in the Danbury Mall for other reasons; when i noticed I wasn't getting any WiFi reception. Having been in the mall before I should have Picked up the signal from one of the stores or the Mall's. I walked over to Apple and found an associate. There were plenty. They tried a soft reset and a few other things, to no avail. An Appointment was made and I was told about a half hour wait time. OK, to get back to the store when i received their text. When the text came I was within a one minute walk from the store. I approached the Tech that helped be earlier, ID'd myself, and said I was there for the scheduled Appointment, I was politely told to have a seat on a wooden box that someone would be with me shortly. After about 15 minutes, observing several employees in their blue T-shirts engaged in what appeared to be personal conversations. I approached them and stated that I was there for my scheduled appointment. Explained why I was there and if they could correct the problem. By that time the iPhone 6S+ had corrected itself. They didn't seem to have an exact reason, just some techno-babble. The reason for the lower score is manifold. Most of the "blue shirts" seem more interested in Sales, if you have an appointment, be there in a nanosecond or it will be cancelled, and if you are there you will be left waiting until they feel like answering your question. If this was the first time it happened I could excuse it. But, you'll find the same level of customer attention at most Apple stores. The Ridge Hill location is famous for it.

Despite how busy it was they met their appointment on time. They solved my problem in about 5 minutes

Absolutely horrible service. i went to have my back glass replaced on an iPhone 15 Pro. They told me 30 minutes for the "repair", it took him over 2 hours to leave me with a messed up phone. They would not answer our calls. When we blocked our number, they would finally answer our calls. They gave excuses, such as part has not arrived, needed to reorder part from China, technician on vacation. Then when we received the iPad, the screen only worked in portrait and not landscape. We took it back and they kept it for 3 more months, with more excuses, such as we need to replace a part, technician is having a baby. We asked them to just put the iPad back the way it was and we would just use it in portrait mode, but we would like a refund. They agreed, but instead DESTROYED our iPad and gave us a refund. We had two technicians from two different companies look at our iPad and they agreed that our iPad was sabotaged. One company said, "Wow, they obliterated that iPad. They actually should have given you money because they made a simple repair turn into a destroyed device." DO NOT USE THEM.
