We got a Groupon for an one hour massage for $60. This is a great discount in comparison to the price that a lot of massages go for these days which seems to range from $80-$100. The front desk staff were really friendly and the masseuse were punctual with the appointment time. My wife and I got a deep tissue massage. The masseuse were highly skilled and literally cleared up all the knots throughout my body. I liked that they asked for feedback whether they were giving to right amount of pressure. We would come here a lot more frequently if it wasn't so far from us. This business is absolutely huge! I had a really great couples massage with a friend of mine over the weekend. Booking was quick online, I did NOT use a Groupon so there were no restrictions. The room was rather small but intimate. Our masseuses starting asked our pressure preferences but other than that no other questions were asked, for instance target areas. Two things I noticed that were different for me from other massaged I've had were the tapotement technique and the scalp scratch/massage. The tapotement technique I could have probably done without but the scalp massage was amazing. There is a cash discount, I believe $10 off. This business is extremely unprofessional! My friend and I wanted to use a Groupon for a massage and were instructed to text a number to apply the Groupon deal. After texting the number and attempting to book an appointment they told us they had no availability on the day we chose(1/20/25) if using Groupon. They then mentioned that we could pay cash and had full availability THE SAME DAY and time of our choosing. We confirmed that we would pay cash and not use the Groupon deal. They quoted $140 for a 60 minute couples massages. Today, my friend received very confrontational and accusatory text messages as well as a voicemail from this business. They accused her of texting their phone and still trying to use the Groupon and "playing games". My friend had not had contact with this business since confirming the cash payment on 1/11/25. They then told her that she is not welcome there and said they would respond to any reviews left. They then accused her of "always changing her statement" and accused her of calling again and attempting to use the Groupon and then blocked her. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculously unacceptable! DO NOT BOOK HERE, they treat paying customers with disrespect! I was very thankful that I could get a massage same day at Apple Spa. I booked online and had requested a strong massage with a male masseur but got a female, which was fine. The place was very clean. The massage was relaxing but didn't really help with my muscles. It felt more like rubbing my skin with oil than deep tissue. She mostly used her forearm and not hands. I did request she use her fingers to massage my neck and for a short time she did. If you are in real pain, I would recommend a different place. The bigger issue is that they request you tip more than 20%. I always tip 20% and will give more if the service is better than average. But it wasn't. She just fixed the beds and reused all the same sheets that I was just laying in naked, and most likely did this between every other client. Would not recommend. When you enter they don't give you a survey asking you what health conditions, concerns, or target areas you have. I interrupted my message to ask her to go deeper, tell her my lower back is a problem area for me and other concerns but she didn't rectify it. I wanted to get off the table several times. When I told them about my experience at the end there was no initiative to reconcile the experience. Beware of Groupon purchases. Spa allows Groupons to be used at 9:30 Mon-Thurs, which is not stated anywhere in their terms on Groupon. I would have never purchased this knowing those were the service hours. Not only that, but they are falsely claiming their original prices. The "Original Price" on my Groupon is $268, I paid $148. However, Grace offered me the same service via text, CASH, $140. Pretty deceptive business practices. I've already escalated this with Groupon and the MA BBB. I bought a Groupon and they refuse to honor it. They don't answer the phone and only communicate via text. They don't allow you to book any of their many available times on their website if you are using a groupon. I was literally told I could get a same day appointment if I pay cash but I could not use my groupon for any time other than 930am Mon - Thurs. This stipulation is nowhere on their ad as no one would purchase the Groupon under these conditions. They are collecting money from Groupon and asking people to pay cash if they want to actually book an appointment that's convenient for most of the adult population. Reprehensible business practice. I have spent half my day trying to get my money back from Groupon. The man that works here is wonderful and you can tell by the way that he massages that he does it with passion. He has good manners and is jolly. But the woman who works here is very rude and massages like she just wants her job to be over. She doesn't massage well. Even after paying her and tipping she will say "more tip, more tip". As ive been here before, I was excited to see a Groupon for a couples massage. The Groupon clearly states that it is good Monday-Thursday based on availability. I contacted Apple Spa and got an answering machine. That call was followed up by a series of texts because they do not answer their phones and will not speak to you in person. In our text conversation I was told they had an appointment available for this evening and even went so far as to schedule a time. In the initial text from the spa, it was requested that I pay cash But I continued schedulibg until we agreed on a time. As soon as I mentioned Groupon I was told they weren't accepting any more Groupon today. By only requesting cash and not accepting the Groupon they offered, I strongly question their business ethics. Beware! They just lost a repeat customer because they don't honor their word. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and taken back to the room. They had soft music playing and the room was relaxing. The beds were headed and comfortable. I booked a couples massage for me and my 12 year old daughter. We both have scoliosis, and this would be her first time getting a professional massage. I called to make sure it was ok for my daughter with her age and whatnot, the woman I spoke to assured me it was ok especially because I would be in the same room as her. At the appointment I asked them not to touch her chest or butt per my daughter (and mine) request. They brought us in the room, and asked us to get undressed, they didn't give me any kind of paperwork to fill out, which I found to be strange completely especially with my daughter being a minor. Unfortunately I was face down and did not know that she was in fact massaging my daughters butt. As we flipped over I reminded her to not rub her chest, and my eyes were closed till the end, and for some reason this woman rubbed my daughters chest!! I didn't know until after on the ride home when my daughter told me she didn't really like it and that it was because she was extremely uncomfortable!!!! I'm completely appalled!! Do not go here if you want a nice quiet relaxing massage. We gave it a try based on other reviews and boy do i wish I didn't. First, my husband made the appointments and then asked if there was a later time. There happened to be one so we changed our original appointment. We received a call the day before saying they forgot to move our appointment and someone else booked that time. They did however honor the time and worked with us. When we got there, there was no one at the front desk. When our message started, my husbands masseuse asked if there were problems areas that she should be aware of and what kind of massage he would like, and my masseuse only asked what type I would like. We both wanted to relax so we wanted a Swedish massage, but did not receive that at all. Felt more like a deep tissue for both of use, my husband asked to do less but still wasn't relaxing. On top of this, my husbands masseuse was consistently texting on her phone giving him a one handed massage. They use way TOO much oil, walked away feeling like a slick track.
