I've been renting a hospital bed for my mom for 6 months. The service is always extremely professional. They have always been kind and friendly. My only complaint is that they won't budge on their "policy", sticking behind the "it's out policy" statement. Iv'e been getting a call from them each month by a very nice woman who calls to confirm it's ok to charge the credit card for each month I need the bed. Every call is very nice, I have actually had great conversations with the woman I always speak with. She asks about my mom, I give her a quick update on whether we need the bed for another month or not. Each call she says, ok just let us know when you don't need it anymore. Every month she's called around the 8th - 11th of the month (last month she called the 11th!). Apparently my billing cycle ends on the 7th. Which happens to be yesterday, a Sunday. I called Apple today, Monday, to kindly let them know that i don't need the bed and they can pick it up. She informed me that because my billing cycle starts on the 7th, I should have called yesterday, which again was Sunday and they were closed. Mind you, it's also a holiday weekend. Apparently i should have called Friday, My bad. So I asked kindly if there was anything they could do, after all, it was by ONE DAY! And again, the 7th was SUNDAY. Nope, it's our policy. Nothing she could do. She did offer to ask the manager and did, but again she said sorry - it's the policy. I honestly have no complaints about any one of the staff. Even through the "no's", she was extremely polite and kind. I'm just bummed that i have to pay another $215 bucks for absolutely nothing...... My fault, totally, but was hoping for a kind gesture. I guess rules are rules. Sorry Mom, can't afford adult diapers this week :( read more
