Must also try the Kettleborough Cider that they make onsite, with their own apples. They have even started planting old world cider trees in collaboration with Cornel Cooperative! After picking peaches I enjoyed sitting on the spacious patio with an ice cream and a walk up to see the farm animals. If you're going for an animal encounter I will say these animals seemed to enjoy distance, but were still lovely.

They grow fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and strawberries right on the property using innovative growing methods. There's also a great selection of perennial plants for anyone looking to add something new to their garden. And there's even a brewery right on the property, making Wright's Farm more than just a place to pick up groceries. It's a destination to explore, shop, eat, drink, and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson Valley. From the incredible selection of locally produced foods to the beautiful landscape and innovative farming practices, Wright's Farm was definitely a highlight of our visit. Trees: most of the trees had no apples, they were either picked bare or on the floor. A couple of trees that have apples looked like they were rotten. I was lucky to fill my medium bag with edible apples. They had TONS of pumpkins if you wanted pumpkin picking, but the apples were sad. Ordering food/apple cider donuts was unbelievably confusing and frustrating and slow. They had 2 lines, one for food and one for bar and then another stand for apple cider donuts and cider. I just wanted some hot apple cider donuts and cold cider, first i went to the stand, they weren't taking anyone. Then waited on the food line which was not moving at all. Fortunately a staff lady came by to take the order for the donuts/cider. She brought them out. The donuts were very cold, they tasted fine, good cider flavor, but was frustrated they were neither hot nor fresh. Overall: it's only saving grace was it being dog friendly. Likely will not be back. Will try to find another place next year.
