The woman working in the store on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at approximately 4 PM has no business in a service industry. I know it can be hard to get good employees these days, but this one takes the cake. When I walked into the completely empty store, she didn't acknowledge me at all... not one single word. When she did start talking, I wanted to go back in time to when she was ignoring me because she was so hateful and rude. The customer service was not great. They've ruined two of my items by permanently putting their tags on my labels by baking them on thereby devaluing the items. The front desk woman said that it's their way to identify your clothing. I've never had this with another dry cleaner. On top of ruining my item, they're very expensive. read more

Horrible service. They take forever to finish on your clothes and they overcharge you for a bad job. Would not recommend.

First of all, PLEASE ASK OWNER to display PRICES because there are NONE! Second, MAKE SURE to check your slip BEFORE and AFTER you pay! NOT happy that this place took awhile to show up at counter! I received a text for 20% off my next dry cleaning and tried to use it and was told No. I have since left a couple of messages for a manager to call me back with zero response. I needed to drop a dress off for my fiance and I didn't want to drive to my usual place and I saw these guys and decided to give them a try. I figured they would be more than my usual place, but never did I expect what I ended up paying. My usual place charges me $1.95 per item, a steal as most places are about double that. The lady was friendly when she checked me in, even gave ma a coupon since it was my first time using them. I dropped it off on Thursday and picked it up Saturday morning and was shocked when she told me my total. It was $8.34 to dry clean her dress, more than four times what I usually pay and that was with a coupon, I can't imagine what it would have cost without one. Needless to say, even if they did an amazing job with dry cleaning her dress I would not go back. It wasn't some elegant gown, it was more of a simple summer dress (I'm a guy, not sure how to describe it), so I just don't understand how they can charge that much. I'll gladly take the 10 minutes extra to drive to my normal place from now on. read more

They destroyed a brand new silk blouse. That was the first time i have used they're services. They kept the blouse for over 6 weeks and did not give me any answers. I took two pair of jeans to Green Mount location to be hemmed on June 8, 2021. I paid $15.00 each for a total of $30.00 for this service. After returning home and trying on the pants, I discovered neither pair were hemmed. I have made three trips back to the location requesting my refund, showing receipts, getting excuses and being shifted around from person to person. I don't understand how such a big outfit like this, with so many locations, haven't figured out how to do a simple refund. I want my $30.00!! The only thing they have going for them is the quick turnaround times. The people are nice there, but the result of what I paid for is not so nice. Let's start with the little things that just drive me crazy: -I have them clean the inside of the collars and cuffs. Mind you, they stick tape everywhere that needs "treatment". 100% of the time, it never comes back as white as the day I bought it. -9 times out of 10, I get a button that's looser than when I brought it. I asked once about this and they told me it's $8 (I believe) to fix it. This is ludicrous. What do I do? I wait for the button to fall off and they realize it happened in their care. Even then, the repair is a shotty job. -Only location I have visited where they bend my collar stints. The N.Belt Belleville location never had this problem. -They (or the 3rd party cleaning service they use), put these annoying, thick, plastic tags on the clothes. It doesn't make it easy to quickly rip them off. I learned this the hard way the first time by ripping the shirt. NOBODY else uses these industrial pieces. These are things that are at least manageable, and I like to pick and choose my battles. What brings this home is the job done on treating stains. There have been multiple instances where one out 5 visits the stain wasn't treated at all. I know what it would look like if there was an attempt (remember they stick tape). I'll bring it back, and there's no argument/charge, and I get it back treated. They make you sign a waiver that removing stains is no guarantee, which is unheard of. But you sign it because you really have no choice. I used them out of convenience and price. The second to last time I took in a blue shirt, with an oil based, dressing stain on it. Didn't realize it was still there until I put it on. I took it back, let them know, and that the 2 new shirts I brought had different stain types on them. Picked them up and the next morning, I see that one of them is still stained. No problem, switch the shirt, except still a stain. The stain was on the 3rd shirt. I get to work and immediately call them, explaining my situation and demanding a refund for that last bulk of items. I've never complained before and even the younger gals know who I am. The person I spoke with, is a newer face (maybe not to the business), said that the manager would call me at some point in the next week. I waited a week, and heard nothing. Took the same shirts and a suit to Swansea Cleaners in the Schnuck's plaza. Everything looked PERFECT. The stains were gone, shirts were vibrant white on the collars/cuffs. I paid a premium for standard care, but it's like they say, "You get what you pay for". Nonetheless, it's been one visit but I recommend them thus far. It's now been 2 weeks since I called Apple Cleaners, and I'm not going to beg for them to take my business. My recommendation to you all is stop passing the buck to your 3rd party and take ownership! I have never reviewed a business and did so because of how strongly I feel about this. read more

I'm kind of shocked this place has such bad reviews. I decided to give them a try because of how close they are to my house, and I've had nothing but positive experiences. I've been using them for a few weeks now for winter coats, my husbands suits and clothes, and everything has come back looking wonderful. Especially the suits, which were a crumpled up mess from a recent move. They do seem a bit more expensive, but nothing crazy, and the convenience of being right next to my grocery store makes the extra cost worth it. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the service received at the Shiloh cleaners. I originally had my wedding dress steamed there before the wedding. They did a fantastic job. After the wedding, I brought them my dress again to have it cleaned and preserved. Once receiving the dress back, it did not have the tissue in the box to preserve the dress. The dress was cleaned and placed in a box. I was charged for the preservation, yet it was not preserved. Since then, we have been in contact with Stephanie several times to correct the issue. She asked us to bring the dress back again so it could be corrected. After 3 weeks, and many unanswered emails, we were told the dress was correctly preserved and was available for pick up. Once getting the dress home, it was not preserved again. Stephanie has stopped returning emails and phone calls. I have paid for a service which was not provided. DO NOT use them for wedding dress preservation.VERY dissatisfied with the customer service as well. read more

I have been using this company for 20 years or more. I used to go to the facility in Belleville on the East Belt but that was closed recently so now I go to Dierberg Commons. I have always had great service and friendly people. At the place I had been using in Belleville, if my shirt came back with a button missing she would sew one on (no charge). Once in 20 years I asked to have a shirt run through the cleaning process a second time. Sometimes the service and experience is what you make of it. read more

I'm shocked by the feedback I see here for them. My husband dropped off an ivory colored coat for me so that it would be clean for our upcoming Christmas season. The coat had several spots I was convinced would never come clean and yet they did. The coat looked simply amazing and better yet, all of the loose buttons were tightened on it without our even asking, or paying extra. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

I dropped off 1 suit and 3 shirts for my hubby. The cleaning itself was good (removed a coffee stain), however their attention to detail on the pressing, etc was nothing to write home about and rather disappointing to say the least! They put no less than 3 creases in the shirts where there should not have been any. And of course hubby didn't notice them until he was already on his business trip because he has them cleaned and left in the bag to pack more easily for his trips. They also replaced a button on one of his shirts (as a courtesy they said)...however this shirt had only been worn twice so it should not have needed to be replaced unless they did something to damage it or we're not careful when they pressed it. For the same price, we received better service elsewhere so we will not be returning to Apple. read more

Terrible place. Had to go out of town on a business trip and had a damaged shirt when I opened my luggage. Had no other option but to wear the shirt with the snag in it (did not have another shirt!). The front desk staff was very helpful the day I brought the shirt back in, however, close to 3 weeks later I had to talk to the owner on the phone, who basically kept telling me the shirt was "worn" and that there was nothing he could do. This really made me feel like my integrity was being tested. There are a lot of ways this could have been handled! Even just saying "Im sorry" would have solved the issue. This was a $25 shirt from Khols! If I were a liar, I think I would have picked a better shirt LOL! Buyer beware. There are a lot of cleaners out there. Nice people, but there's not much point going to a cleaners where you have to send everything through twice just to get the spots out. I've had to send things back 4 or 5 times over a period of about 6 months. Different items and different fabrics each time, so it's not like it's one particular trouble piece. They redid the cleaning properly for free without fuss, but it's still annoying and requires extra trips. (And if they can get it out the second time, why not the first? Did they just not bother?) They also damaged the beadwork on an item, although in that case they warned me in advance it might happen and I agreed to send it through anyway. read more

Apple Cleaners 4110 Green Mount Crossing Dr O Fallon, IL 62269 Item dropped off Oct 24th to be ready after 6 on the 26th. Not only do they not have items ready on time, they don't bother calling even though they take your phone number. 3 days AFTER my item was to be ready, which is a 45 minute drive for me. Only to be told it wasn't ready. When I asked why they didn't call, they said they don't look up item until someone comes in and asks for it. So the girl said they "could have it ready after 6:00pm today and they close at 7:00. Sure I can either hang out for 4 1/2 hours OR I can make another 45 minute drive. Rude and very unprofessional employees, giggling in the background about it not being done and me complaining. If your going to complain about customers at least be smart enough to put them on hold. No offer for any type of compensation just a giggle and a sarcastic have a good day. Extremely unhappy. read more

I took a coat in to the Collinsville, IL location. First, Tracey was very rude. Second they did a horrible job. The coat had to be sent through three times and the stain is still on the coat.
