I told my salesman what I was looking for and he gave me a range of things to look at, but he didn't push anything on me. He gave me some time and I made my decision. It was quick easy and painless. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new ride.

They said they were waiting for parts. Who does not stock parts for cars they sell and when they schedule the matter in advance? One would assume routine matters and the need for parts was factored into the estimated time. They cost me a whole day. Even when they called me to say I needed new brakes they failed to mention it was going to take more than twice the time they originally said. Why? Because they want your money and know that telling you the truth might cost them. The worst is when I complained. They said I was a "perfectionist" and made a reference to my race as a "black and white person". Spending 65% more time to do a routine matter is not being a perfectionist any more they would be if I offered to pay them 65% less than the charge. While I was in there scheduling an appointment an employee was speaking with a customer about how police are unfairly accused of racism by black people. They are liars, and their employees entertain racist topics with customers. Just look at their reviews. A lot of people had terrible experiences.

The car I was purchasing had a salvage title due to hail damage, the taillight was still cracked and when brought to attention, it was written down by Ali and stated verbally that the car would be getting a new taillight housing before I purchased it the following week. When I arrived that day they still hadn't gotten the new housing and swore they would be getting it in and let me know when they did. They did not call me so I sent Ali Facebook messages, how we had communicated earlier, which were also were not responded to. I called them 10+ times and spoke to either Ali or another worker or left a message each time over the course of 2 months. Each time they assured me that Willy would call me or they would call me back. They NEVER did until I told them how extremely frustrated I was with them. Nearly every time I called Willy had "just stepped out" and Ali said he would call me when he was back. She said to me that she told Willy each time I called so it does not appear to be a lack of communication between them that stopped Willy from calling me. When I finally got ahold of Willy, after nearly 2 months after purchasing the car, he told me that the car was sold as is and he had the as is no warranty form in front of him and that even though it had been written down previously and agreed upon, they were not going to hold their word or compensate me for the broken tail light. They say that they do not have this piece of paper where Ali wrote down what they were supposed to fix before I purchased the car, and as this was the only hard proof I had other than verbal agreements, they were not going to get one. Willy also used profane language on the phone towards my boyfriend and myself when we finally talked with him. The same day I bought the car it needed coolant and has been leaking to the point where I have to refill it every few days, a fact Willy says he knew nothing about (we asked and they did not let us lift up the car at their shop to look under it). There were also many small issues with the documentation prepared by Ali. She had wrongly overcharged me a few fees and they are now issuing a refund check for those, which I had to bring to their attention months after purchasing the car. They also did not sign the purchase agreement for over two months, until I told them that it was not signed, which meant our contract was void for that time period. I was also pulled over recently and the officer tested the window tint on my car, it read 17%, which is very dark and very illegal in Minnesota. The officer informed me that it is illegal for a car dealer to sell a car with illegally dark tint, so it is also their responsibility to fix that. I would recommend that potential buyers check to see what the tint level is before purchasing a car from Malecha's to ensure that everything is at or below the legal levels. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau and through them Willy and I have reached an agreement where he will be issuing me a refund check, removing the tint, and replacing the cracked taillight. What I have learned from this experience and what in my opinion potential buyers should take away, is that you should get every agreement in writing. No matter if it is a big issue or something tiny like a cracked taillight, if a dealer promises it to you, have them sign a document saying they will actually do it. I would also recommend looking over all documentation on the purchase agreement with the DMV to ensure that you are not overcharged. This review has been edited as to ensure it is not slanderous, only factual and representing my opinions. Because of this, I needed to add additional details to encompass the whole of my experience to make it as accurate as possible. I have tried my best to include information that is the most important to potential buyers so that they know what to look out for when dealing with this dealer, as this was the goal of the first version of my review. This is not a new review being made, simply an edit.

With my hat-in-hand, and at their mercy, Shaine moved a mountain to get me right back on the road. I had no leverage in what could have been a very expensive and time consuming solution. Instead this team of customer-focused employees got me out the door in a handful of minutes. Generous, respectful and honest are some of the words we use to describe this particular location. Thanks for standing out among your peers/competitors--who don't have the same reputation in my experience. I'm not sure if the manager is the owner, partner or just a team lead, but he addressed the problem with the dignity that their CEO would be proud of. I hope they read these replies when it comes time for his annual review.

I'm glad I peeked to watch as they were about to put my 2 new tires on the BACK instead of the front like I specified when making the appointment. No notes in their system about wanting them for the front tires. I also made an appointment, but that didn't seem to matter as they worked with a walk-in at the same time, so my quoted 30 minute tire change took over an hour. The guy at the counter was kind of smug and THOUGHT he was comical, but it came across as condescending. I saw him berate another employee in a condescending way in front of me and other customers, and then he laughed about it wanting our sympathy. Weirdly narcissistic, if you ask me. I probably won't go back.
