If Ashly or Michelle had either patience of trust, their healing process may have been more positive. Perioral Dermatitis is one of the most difficult skin rashes to treat, and Dr. Berhoozan was not only encouraging, but also successful in eliminating this problem for me. If you research Perioral Dermatitis, all research says you have to be "patient!" By following Dr. Berhoozans rules I have better skin today then I did before the rash. Although Dr. Berhoozan has "graduated" me from his care, if I ever have any skin issues, he will be my go to! Highly recommended!

Dr. B is literally the best Derm in LA. I haven't been able to see him during the past few years…read morebecause of Covid, I lost my PPO insurance-- which is not his fault, obviously. He is the friendliest and most adorable man and a complete skin genius and wizard! Even though he does a lot of cosmetic high end dermatology and his office looks like a million bucks, he's one of the rare LA premium dermatologists that also does medical dermatology which is what I saw him for. Acne and Eczema. The latter of which can be hard to treat. I also messed myself up with a stupid at home micro-needle and he fixed me right up and didn't make me feel like a jerk! But what I am most thankful for is his care for my husband (at the time) who is very fair and works outside quite a bit. He caught three!! melanomas before they became serious. Two of which were on the face. We were worried that his face would have scars but you can't tell anything ever happened. That's how talented he is!! Before Dr B, my husband had a melanoma on his back and the dermatologist we had at the time dug it out like he was scooping freezing ice cream! There was a huge scar and indentation. So it matters a lot how skilled your Derm is at both the medical aspects and the cosmetic ones. To quote him, "I've never lost a patient to skin cancer!" Thank the heavens!! It was a relief that all we had to do was make sure my hub went every six months for his skin check with Dr B to remain melanoma free. Peace of mind, priceless! I also had a painful skin problem that was chronic and in a sensitive area that's the domain of the lady doctor. My GYN tried everything and he's also a fabulous doctor. But I was in so much pain and so frustrated because we couldn't figure out what it was and I just couldn't live with no diagnosis. Even though this area isn't the area of the dermatologist to take care of, I told Dr B about it and how desperate I was. He said if I was comfortable, he would look at it (along with a female nurse present) and I said please do. Well, he solved it! It was it eczema- the worst! And he solved it. Cured! I had been dealing with that for at least two years and finally he resolved it. No more pain, no more frustration! Not many doctors would be willing to do that, but he did, because he's a badass and a wonderful person! As soon as I get a PPO, I'm running back to him! I believe his office has some parking in the back too. There's a CVS down just down the road and lots of cafes walking distance just up the block if you need a good cup of coffee. Just be careful parallel parking around there because you don't want to dent a G Wagon or a Bentley lol. Hey, maybe you drive one! Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

She went through my options with me and was kind enough to explain steroid vs non-steroid topicals, and also discussed injections if I was ever interested in the future. With her help, my eczema has cleared up so much and I've been very happy with my care! Prescription refills are fulfilled quickly and all of the assistants are always super sweet during my appointments. It's also great that I can get my botox done here as well! When I first started, I was super nervous, but having a doctor do my injections makes me feel so much better. Dr. Wang is great at making sure that the results are natural and that I don't ever look too frozen like online. For anyone looking to start botox, but are nervous I could not recommend Dr. Wang enough! Note: there's a parking garage attached to the building but they don't validate so I recommend street parking since it's free and there's usually some spots open

Beware of their billing practices. I was quoted $150 out-of-pocket to remove a single milium,…read morespecifically because insurance would not cover it. I paid by card that day. I later learned they billed my insurance $289 for a separate office visit from that same appointment, which hit my deductible. My records show two notes for that one appointment: the milium procedure, signed the day of my visit, and a second note for facial acne, signed the following morning. The claim was for treating acne vulgaris on my face, a condition I did not come in for, was never told I had, and was never diagnosed with out loud. Tretinoin was raised by the doctor as an option for the single milium, and it appears in that first note. My asking her to prescribe it apparently became a second, billable visit. When I called to ask why a self-pay cosmetic visit had been processed through insurance, the billing manager told me this is simply how they do things and asked how I could not know that. He agreed to waive the balance but said he could not void the claim, so the charge and diagnosis stay on my insurance record. He then told me I was no longer welcome at the practice. Get it in writing, before your appointment, what will and will not be billed to insurance, and check your EOB afterward against what you were quoted.

I've been a patient at this dermatology office on and off for a few years, and I've generally…read moreappreciated the care. However, my recent experiences have left me quite disappointed, especially considering the sensitive nature of the services provided. In February, I decided to get a biopsy for a mole that was growing. The staff promptly took a sample for testing, which I appreciated. However, I was left without any follow-up regarding the results. I had to reach out myself to get the information, which I initially brushed off as understandable due to their busy schedule. Fast forward to my follow-up appointment on July 7th for another mole they had initially flagged. Again, they took a biopsy, but here we are over six weeks later, and I still haven't received any updates. I've tried calling, but unfortunately, I've reached out on days when the office was closed. It's disheartening that patients have to chase down their doctors for updates, especially when it comes to something as critical as skin cancer testing. The communication process needs significant improvement. While I really like the office's location and have had positive interactions with the staff, including Amber, who is always sweet and attentive, the lack of follow-through on biopsy results is concerning. In cases like these, timely updates should be standard practice to provide patients with peace of mind. I hope they can address these issues because I would like to continue my care here.

I am also so grateful to her for finding melanomas on my mother - the early detection helped my mom to continue to be healthy and avoid some very scary health situations. I can not write this review without writing about how well Dr. Kim injects Botox. She truly makes it look like you just had some sort of refresher without leaving you looking plastic and frozen. I love it and would not have any other person do these injections. If you are in need of a dermatologist go to Dr. Kim!!!
