My daughter dropped her off before 10:00 am we hadn't received a call or and update so my daughter called 3:38 at that time she was told that they havent gotten to my puppy yet, they had a lot of dogs. Now pay attention to the time my daughter received a return call saying that she's ready at 3:51 ... Not even 30 mins later. The appointment was for a full groom service from head to toe. I know it should have at least taken and hour. The whole haircut is choppy, and so far. I've counted at least 5 bald spots. I'm not one to bash anyone's business. Because that's a person's livelihood, but she's very unprofessional. She was not understanding and she was defensive and had an excuse about everything and why her grooming looks the way that it does. After about 20 mins of going back and forth with no apologies just excuses I finally said I will never bring her back and have a blessed day. She assumed my puppies age when she could have just asked how many weeks she is (and I said as much), she assumed where my puppy came from, she assumed I was lying about my puppy actually coming from a rescue. I told her the rescue said she was given a 5 way and she said "without proof, it's like the first vaccinations never happened and you're starting over again" in a tone like "so be ready for that!" After talking to that awful woman I found my adoption contract and it said the date she was given a 5 way shot. I then contacted the rescue about official proof of vaccination and then I called Westside only to find out they are not insane. I got an appt. really quickly and I'm so glad I found them. Their office was really nice compared to Village Animal on Cottage Hill. Everyone at Westside was helpful and pleasant and they are surprisingly affordable! Thanks for being so obnoxious on the phone so I'd keep calling around.

The ladies who work there are so kind and always make me feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs with them. Mine are always happy to go back with them, which says a lot! They do an incredible job on my two spaniels' haircuts--easily the best cuts they've ever had. With spaniels, regular grooming is a must, and I've tried several places before finding C & S. Dana is great and I can tell that she genuinely cared about my (flea) issue and she told me exactly what to do to get rid of them. I would definitely recommend this place. I drove 40 minutes to get here and I'm so glad I did! UPDATE: After I had my cats groomed, Dana recommended me to buy a certain product (flea pesticide that was safe on animals) from a store near by, and was helpful in getting me directions and everything I needed. (Like I mentioned) What I didn't mention, as it happened after my initial review, is that after spraying the repellent and flea pesticide all over my room and apartment, was I started to have a horrible headache after laying in my room. I looked up the pesticide that she told me to get, which she told me to spay ON MY CAT, and all over my clothes and everything, is that permethrin is extremely toxic to cats. Needless to say, I relocated my cats afterwards and gave them baths. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because thankfully my cats did not die. Once it happened, I called Dana and they seemed shocked to hear it's toxic, because she re assured me it's safe. She said she would call me right back and I never heard from her again. My former neighbors surprised me one day when they brought their dog in, and they agree. One of these cats died due to a tumor growing in her lower GI, and Dr. Lisa took great care of her. She passed away at home with her humans at her side. The other two are tomcats, a year apart, and Dr. Lisa was very informative on how to introduce them. Highly recommend!
