He is professional, compassionate, patient, Top tier customer service skills, Knowledgeable and passionate about his profession but still eager and open minded to learn more. I was having difficulty with an AOS brace my doctor recommended and he admitted he was not familiar with the brace, but he didn't give up on helping me until he figured it out and then explained it to me. I'm really sad I cannot continue working with him at Park North. This is the 2nd time in my life I've done physical therapy, and this experience left a long lasting impression on me. My first experience was nothing compared to what I've learned from Pape in a brief period of time. The world needs more people like Pape. Thank you so much.

This past July, I hurt myself during yoga (a result and mix of over-exercising/working out/pandemic stress) and I was referred to this practice. Before then, I had never injured myself physically and was experiencing - what I soon came to recognize - a high level of anxiety previously unknown to me. As someone who always felt extremely strong, both physically and mentally, I felt like a stranger in my own body. Dr. Niv (Zack) was my primary therapist and (while I wish I had never injured myself or had to learn what anxiety was) I consider it a major blessing that of all the PT's in the world, I somehow happened to find him. He is an expert, serious professional, and all around fantastic human being. I have never felt more safe, taken care, understood, or truly heard by a health care professional ever in my life. The care I received was always personalized and thoughtful. I always felt like he wanted to hear what was on my mind/concerns/etc. His understanding of the body and mind is incredible. My treatment always felt like an extremely educated and human approach. Something I (and everyone else) desperately needed. I could go on! While I am essentially recovered, I wish I could visit this practice every week. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Also noteworthy: The front desk staff are amazing - incredibly easy to make or change an appointment, assist with insurance/billing related questions or problems. The facility is clean & welcoming. I asked if I ever could talk with someone and was told "we are always very busy". I spoke with an another well reviewed PT group and I spoke with a therapist for a few minutes. She listened and was able to refer me to the right person in their practice. That is all I needed.

I had a 25 min appt and my ins co was billed for 4 diff svcs for $375. $150 for exam which was maybe 2 -3 min. $75 for exercise therapy $75 for nerve training that didn't happen $75 for activity therapy which is duplicate charge. I came away with a total of maybe 4 stretches to do. My wife also went there for brief period. They charged her $75/session for ins co-payment. After 10 sessions she found out from her ins co. co-payment should have been $15. $600 overcharge in first 10 sessions. She is also at another PT provider. She did get the refund.

He did a detailed workup (studied my MRI and other diagnostic reports, asked questions about my symptoms, and observed my movements) and thoroughly explained the exercises he was prescribing and how they would address my problem. He also got on the phone with a physical trainer I was seeing to advise on what kinds of movements I should and should not do. He was always attentive, patient, and willing to answer questions. I believe he truly cares about his clients and is sensitive to their differing styles and needs. The 134th Street staff--Kariata (I hope I've spelled your name right!), Vanessa, and Brenda--were also friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Berzisht as a physical therapist.

I can't speak highly enough about Starr Sports Physical Therapy! In August of 2019, I severely…read morefractured 3 metatarsal bones and tore a ligament in my left foot. I had surgery in September to place plates and screws in my foot to fuse the ligament. I started going to Starr Sports about 1-month post-op, unable to bear any weight on my foot and with severe muscle atrophy in my left calf. I worked with Dr. Marvin Catibog, who was truly a savior - he's extremely knowledgeable, caring, and very patient. I felt significant progress almost immediately. Within a month I was walking again, and the swelling in my foot almost completely subsided. I had a second surgery in January to remove the hardware place in my foot. The recovery the second time around was a lot easier and quicker, which I credit to all the PT I had done leading up to it. I was walking again within 10 days. As someone who has always been active, it was a frustrating process not being able to do my normal day to day activities, but Dr. Catibog's motivation, well planned out exercises, and constant reinforcement kept me going and significantly helped in my recovery. Even when the office closed down due to COVID-19, Dr. Catibog continued to check in with me and did weekly FaceTime assessments to ensure I was keeping up with my exercises and not following behind with my progress. I'm now 6 months post my second surgery, and I'm working out daily and running 2-3 times a week without any issues.

You came with lots of questions and listened to what I felt has been lagging or still difficult and in a short time made a custom exercise regimen for me to follow. I left feeling so energized. I just finished day one. What a workout! If everyone in medicine treated their patients like you do the world would be a much better place."
