*Pedicure Review Only* Stopped in at 3pm on a Sunday and I was able to walk right into a chair for my pedicure. But not before stressing over the shelves of nail polish. Thankfully this salon didn't have an overwhelming amount of colors. the basic pedicure was $30 but I decided to upgrade to the $38 package which included a mask and longer foot and leg massage, which is totally worth it. This was probably the best foot massage I've ever had, especially combined with the massage chair, almost rocking me to sleep. When it came to my nails, the tech was extremely gentle but detailed. I'm very satisfied with the service and the price. Make sure you leave a nice tip!!
Horrible job. My gel nails have bubbles, and they are uneven in many ways. It's hard to tell from the picture. Also, they do not clean your cuticle, they go over it very gently but does nothing. I literally paid for a nail polish change not a manicure. The worst part is expecting a tip. When I paid, she asked how much I wanted to add for a tip, I said "no tip today" she then asked if I was going to give a cash tip and I literally said the same thing. She asked AGAIN, and at this point I just stayed quiet. She charged me and I left. I paid $85 for these. So embarrassing.

The salon is clean and all the ladies are nice and talented. Apollo offers great service at an affordable price.
Kim did such an amazing job on my nails! I didn't feel pressured or rushed to make a decision and yet, she finished everything within an hour. I showed her inspo pics of what I wanted and she was able to deliver. I've always wanted ombré nails without using fake nails but couldn't find a nail artist who could do it until now. We went with the powder method and she was able to apply it without making it too thick. Kim was very gentle on my nails and was detail-oriented in her work. She's also nice and easy to talk to.

However, today it was horrible, felt rush and she went way too heavy on the first coat coz it was dripping and I could see it. She cut my nails with a clipper from a box so not sterile and the was cleaning the little scissor/cutter thing on my actual foot. I had to tell her to stop coz it was scratching me. Ugh bad experience, not sure if im coming back
I came in on Saturday, 10/22/22, to get my gel off on my nails, get regular manicure and waxed my lip and eyebrows. An older lady did my waxing first. She put the wax on my lips and eye brows and it hurt a bit which I though it was normally. She didn't really spend that much time working on those areas. I thought it was a bit odd she smeared Vaseline (I think that's what it was) on those areas and walked out to get my nails done. The other lady that did my nails did an alright job. I was bit disappointed she only put lotion on my hands, thinking I was getting a quick massage, and grab a warm towel to take off the the lotion. The pain from the waxing started to get worse. When I got home I looked at my bathroom mirror and to my horror she pulled skin above my lips, between my eyebrows and both side of my eye brows. I didn't want to go back to salon to complain because I was embarrassed for anyone to see me. The next day I peeled the skin off. I'm upset this is going to cause scarring on my face and it will take a long time until I can go out without makeup. Definitely beware of this place.

My natural nails are able to withhold up to 4 weeks of her gel nail techniques. Pedicures are also very relaxing with deep calf massages, scrubs and toe nail cares. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I walk out with smiles every time![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Again today I received a first class pedicure and manicure at Apollo Nail & Spa. I have been a client for many years and have always been with Christine. As a retired firefighter who has always worn boots, my feet require first class treatment. The facility is spotless and the staff cheery and welcoming. I can't say enough about christine, my girl. Her foot scrub and massage makes me forget my aches and pains. I always look forward to my monthly appointment. Men, don't let the ladies have all the pleasure, make your appointment today.
I've been going to Apollo nails for over 2 years now and am impressed every time I go. I started with gel nails and recently upgraded to acrylic. I've gotten my nails done by everyone and have loved them every time. Today I went in and Kim went above and beyond to give me my most favorite nails, by far. I have a nail salon across the street from where I live, but I drive to Apollo nails because, as you can see, they do an amazing job. If you are looking for a place with friendly faces and who do a great job, Apollo nails is the place to go.

I've been seeing Kim now for four years now and she never disappoints. Well ... I am highly disappointed , Friday I spent 95$ On upgraded pedicure plus a full set for my nails . 20$ worth of tips . 4 days later one of my nails snapped off . Not too big of an issue . I went this morning and let them know I needed a repair . Mind you 3 ladies are sitting around doing absolutely Nothing and the woman speaking to me can't be bothered to get up out of the pedicure chair says they can't fix it no one is available to do so and no one other than one person knows how to do nails is able to work on me because none of her employees does nails . Ummm what ?? I explained the situation and let her know how much I spent in the salon days earlier . She simply continues to repeat she can't help me at this time . I'll never be back and suggest some training in customer satisfaction also some higher quality product. Please train some of the plethora of employees lounging around to perform nail services since it's a Nail Salon . Boooo! this was not cool . read more

I've been going to Kim for a few years now and she is truly the best! She always accommodates my busy schedule and runs on time. She doesn't take a long time but she does a very good job. I'm pretty picky with my nails and she gets the job done every time! I usually show her a nail inspiration picture from Pinterest or Instagram and she does great and replicating! Kim is the best!!! read more

Kim is awesome! I have been a client of hers for years and my nails ALWAYS look amazing. I come in with random pictures of designs and she has always been able to do the design but also adding her style twist. I recommend giving Kim a chance to wow you as she NEVER disappoints!! read more

I left in tears today . I walked in to this neighborhood nail salon to get acrylic nail done . Linda did my nails . The whole time she was kinda nice? But I definitely felt rushed . The end result was real bad but Linda says " wow it's beautiful " . I'm like , emm all my 10 nails are in different shapes and they are all thick and bumpy and uneven . I offered to pay in full and get everything removed due to how bad they looked . The shop owner I assume asked Kim ( which is super nice and probably the only reasonable person in the shop ) to fix my nail .after she buffed couple of my nails I asked to use restroom and came back saw her with a new customer already. I didn't know what to do , then the owner came to me literally said " you go to other place, find someone who'll make you happy , we can't do that!" I was like what ? Where should I go ? She's " I don't know, go where make you happy , and we can not remove your nail because it's going to hurt a lot " Balabalab .... I was like " feel my nails , see how uneven they are " she insisted this is how they supposed to be because " Acrylic nails are difficult to do " , don't even mention The whole time Linda was bitching about me in Vietnamese thinking i don't understand Viet . The whole time , i stayed clam and polite , said everything in a nice clam voice but nobody cared and I left with horrible nails that will need to be removed asap for my engagement . I'm honestly shocked by how they treated their customers, and please just don't go to this place unless you asked for Kim , ( she actually felt bad for my nail and said sorry ) pics attached and you can be the judge.( at the end when I was asked to go to other places multiple times . I came here with a few friends to try a new nail salon and I definitely won't be returning! My french tip gel nails were very sloppy, also there was still dirt under my nails. I still wanted to leave a tip but they didn't accept credit card tips, very unfortunate for the employees. read more

I live in the LA area but I come here to get my mani and pedi. Kim is so creative I can show her a picture of what I want and my nails always come out better than the photo. I highly recommend Apollo nails all the Ladies are wonderful and I feel relaxed and never rushed. read more

Apollo nails saved the day! I had just come from Las Vegas where I had the worst manicure... she put stickers on my nails! And then gelled them on ... anyway we don't need to talk about them. This post is about Apollo nails. I am a local visitor and everything I come in I'm greeted kindly. The ladies all do such a wonderful job on the grooming part of the manicure (or pedicure). They take their time. And they make sure you get your moneys worth. There is always a fun vibe happening in there. They love to have fun and laugh with their customers. You'll never leave disappointed. And above all... they know what they're doing as far as nail art goes. These green French tip nails still go down as my favorite set and it was the best thing to look at after leaving another salon with the blue stickered fall nails. They got your back, they will make you feel beautiful and appreciated when you come in. Go get yours done! Can't wait to see the post :) read more

Enjoyed it here they're very friendly, the language barrier was difficult I wanted gel nails but she just did a gel overlay on my original nails, no big deal, although I was charged $35 just for the gel. Felt very relaxed and my daughter enjoyed her mani/pedi read more

*********RAPID or REGULAR****************. What's the rush????????? No one was even here (maybe a clue); If they were ready to close I could have taken my business elsewhere. Got a simple pedicure never seen someone do a pedicure so fast; I had gotten a text when I sat down and when she was done it was an entire 8 min beginning to end; she chopped my nails off and didn't even ask if that's what I wished....didn't file; left old Polish on..what else? I thought people in these times were in need of business. I came for The convenience; I have my normal amazing spot I go to but I could r make it there this evening but this horrid experience reminds me convenience isn't key. When getting a salon service most expect to relax and enjoy. This establishment has it all wrong. Rush hurry and get out....it's a cute shop. Clean; decent atmosphere but many key factors are missing. I wish I made $28 for 8 min. Sloppy and in such a mad sloppy hurry!! All bad qualities when your looking for a pedicure. Horrible service. Horrible. Rude and she called Me 'stupid' in her 'language' she thinks was a secret after I commented on the quick job ....they need to realize others can understand. I should have never paid for this horrid experience; what a rip off. my 7 year olds could have done a better job. Wish there was negative stars...in every ways tierrasanta you need a better nail salon. Sorry this is your option. read more

I have been coming to Kim for just about 7 years. She is by far the best and super talented. You can take just about any Pinterest nail design and she will either make it her own bad ass or do how the picture is. She is super sweet and gentle, she doesn't file your nails hard so you keep nice nails that aren't paper thin. Go see Kim for all your nail needs. read more

Ugh..so had to run to Vons (near the post office off Santo)..so decided to run in and get a mani/pedi beforehand next door at Apollo Nails. I walked in and there was literally 2 others in the whole place...which is fine...but..then the guy doing my pedi was in an obvious rush. Whatever...but then same guy did my manicure (French polish/gel manicure)..& was even worse (in a rush!) I swear I'm normally not that person..but finally had to ask him if he was in a rush or something! He didn't get it. Anyway, super displeased with whole experience...especially when it costs me $70 ! just a heads up if looking for somewhere. Would avoid there..just from experience. Have a great night all! read more
