This is the very first and only item I'm trying return from many purchases I've made on Dick's online store. The store manager told me they can't accept the return because the shoes are creased, dirty and it looks like I've used them outdoor a bunch of times, after I told him I used it twice indoor. Basically he called me a liar. They asked me why is it creased. I told them you can have a brand new pair and take 10 steps in them, they will crease due to the design. I even offered to demonstrate with a new pair, then he immediately said "we don't sell those shoes here." He mentioned that he's been selling shoes for 18 years and my return is the 5th time someone trying to do the same thing that day. They keep asking me why didn't I try the shoes inside my home? Well, they're basketball shoes so I had to try it at an indoor run. What am I gonna do, play basketball inside my house? They also asked why I ordered it if I know it's half a size bigger, so I told them that it's recommended to order half a size bigger for Nike sports shoes. Honestly I don't know why I spent so much time arguing with them when they can just tell me that it's against policy and that's the end of it. I could have just left to do the return online (which I did, smoothly.) At least now I know why it's called DICK'S Sporting Goods, because they hire mostly dicks to work at this location.

I was told it would be a couple more weeks, which is the exact response that I've been getting since May, when I first ordered my parts. I highly recommend to NEVER purchase a Marcy Smith Machine, and instead buy a US made product that has teamed up with US company to provide replacement parts! You will eventually have to purchase replacement parts, and you don't want to have the nightmare that I've dealt with! ***UPDATE*** 6 Nov 25 Called to get another update, and of course they still didn't have my full order, however the agent this time said they would open one of their orders off the shelf to get me my missing parts. I'm glad that they took this option, but that's 6mo later and after I made this recommendation a month ago, which I was told they couldn't possibly do that. I guess that didn't age well. Let's see how long it takes to receive these parts.

I went to this store yesterday (Sunday), looking for a long sleeve suiting suit top because I've had skin cancer, and I have to be very careful about allowing sun on my body. The assistant manager was wonderful. I found a long sleeve top, but they didn't have my size. He called numerous stores in search of what I needed. I told him that I appreciated his dedication and customer service. In addition, the other 2 employees were just as wonderful. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to actually see great customer service. I usually don't shop at Big 5, but now I will be a regular customer. Thank you so much.

So far, the boots have held up quite nicely even when walking into some deep puddles. They've kept my feet dry which is pretty awesome. The premise itself feels dated even though it's not run down. Merchandise also feels densely packed, but then again, it's probably always been like this ever since I was a kid. Come in. Get what you need. And leave with low expectations.
