They may use unsafe chemicals and the materials are nowhere near the same. Suggestions for store: Make more space for shoes and less space for merchandise. Most of the customers come for the shoes. I ordered online and it was ready almost right away…read more Honestly, I've always envied people in Columbus and Denver for being so close to Rogue Fitness and REP Fitness, but I'm glad to see SoCal has an up and coming quality fitness equipment company of its own. The staff that helped me out was incredibly quick and nice. The main woman working at the store was great and we had a nice conversation. With all the price increases due to the pandemic, it's hard to find equipment and even harder to find it at a good price. New equipment is usually out of stock and expensive to ship and used equipment is price gouged like a bad Econ 101 lesson. Griffin still has decent stock and the option for local pickup is a game changer. Even if you don't want to make the hike to Ontario, the shipping rates are pretty reasonable. As a reference point, the flat bench would have cost $40 to ship to LA. I'm excited to see what else they'll start offering. Their current inventory is sweet and simple, similar to a burger chain that calls SoCal home as well. You might have heard of it. Anyway, it'll be fun to watch Griffin grow, but for now they have the essentials and a good amount of stuff for anyone to get started with.
