Hands down friendliest and most professional towing company in the Valley…read more My little brother was stranded/broke down in Gilbert after leaving work and I only got part of his location before his phone died. I called on time towing and they sent a search and rescue, put my mind at ease and really they care about helping people. Fair and Trustworthy company!!!

By the previous reviews, this looked like it was, at one time, not a bad company. I see a review…read moreresponse by Jaime (On Time Towing's owner) making personal attacks towards a unwilling customer that wrote a less-than positive review about his company. Maybe these attacks are projection? At any rate, times have changed, and On Time Towing with them. On Time Towing (OTT) just did what it was told to do by a landlord/property management and didn't ask any questions about the car it was towing, and was rather presumptive about me and the car when I talked to Jaime. I had an agreement with a tenant to park my car on the lot, unbeknownst to the uninquisitve OTT. According to AZ law, once a car is towed, the towing company must contact the police an hour before towing, then the police must contact the owner to pickup the car. Jaime nor the local police contacted me in a timely manner, and I only found out my car was impounded when I called the police and they told me it was impounded 4 days after the tow. OTT collects $45/day (likely to increase. Hello future reviewer!) on a car in impound, so I can see why there is no urgency to inform the owner of an impounded car. For comparison, I pay $250/month for covered and secured parking. When I asked Jaime why he never contacted me, he said it's because it's too much trouble if he was to do that (he would have to go through the DMV according to him. There are faster alternatives, however) and he's not legally required to do so (and the $45/day impound fees add up daily, which is the real reason he didn't contact me). I can only speculate that the best-case scenario for OTT would be to acquire the title to my car after a month of being impounded and sell it for thousands of dollars at my expense. Either way, a win-win for OTT not to contact me. Jaime, the owner of OTT, seemed really high strung and stressed when I talked to him. He does not seem like a happy person to me, and I hope he finds a solution to his spiritual, mental, dental and physical ailments. He became very defensive when I described his practice not accepting credit cards as "shady" when asking which forms of payments are accepted. He claims it is because people simply remove the charge for him towing and storing their vehicles at OTT's property. From my experience, the company I worked for only received payment when we delivered a product to a satisfied customer. And yes, like all legitimate businesses, we accept credit cards and checks without the fear of customers disputing a charge. Only shady companies fear charge card disputes. Also, I never received an itemized invoice. When I asked for a printed receipt on 4/21/26 after payment, Jaime said he could only print it at OTT's San Tan location, not his Mesa location (OTT's Mesa location is a house on rezoned land. It is not a very clean property, and does not look professional. Not a good look since it is a customer-facing property). It seems a unprofessional to me to be unprepared to give me a receipt upon request. He asked me to send him my email so he could email me my receipt. I obliged immediately. As of writing this review, he has yet to e-mail me a receipt. In summary, OTT created a problem then offered a high-priced solution while doing nothing of value and expecting payment for their "service". Poorly-made laws (perhaps by design) were used to justify their actions and allowed them to act unethically within the confines of state and federal law. Until those laws change, expect companies like OTT to continue to contribute nothing of value and take from those that do. I do not like writing negative reviews, but I feel it necessary to warn people of companies like this. Be aware of these predatory practices, companies and people. Stay safe out there.
