I used Yelp's extremely useful Projects feature to mass message several businesses with two issues…read moreI had: a running toilet and a busted ceiling light. I needed someone to do both because I know that repairmen charge a travel fee to come to your house and I didn't want to pay this twice by hiring two separate people. Lots of people told me they could only fix one problem. Gustavo was one of the handful who told me he could fix both. For those that don't know, many people in the repair business will want to do a diagnostic check on your issues so that they can give you an accurate quote. Some businesses will charge you for this diagnostic and some won't. As someone who loves to research, I only care about businesses that don't charge a diagnostic fee. Gustavo was so confident in my issues that he told me exactly how much it would cost and that he didn't do a diagnostic check. In fact, unlike literally all other people, he would fix the problem the same day that he messaged me. His pricing was very competitive. Unfortunately, when he went to fix my lights, we both found out that I had a completely different problem. (This is why most repair men do diagnostic checks to begin with) Even though it was different problem, Gustavo was confident in fixing it; it did make my cost increase by $45 but I'm glad that he could fix my problem so well. He was also friendly and didn't have a bad body odor like some other repairmen I've encountered.

Rudy was honest that this type of work is not their core competency, and after this experience, my wife and I fully agree.

BIG MISTAKE! He was unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest, and unable to complete our tasks. He called in other contractors he knew to complete the work and we were then charged twice. The electrician alone was $350 just to show up and did nothing because Brandon was unavailable at his Chiropractor appointment so the Electrician left. He also hired a stucco repair contractor which was another $250. The repairs he completed were poorly done. We had to pay for his "services" and then we had to hire other contractors to get the jobs completed correctly to sell our home. He only worked a few hours and charged us $940. Major disappointment and rip off. He does not know what he is doing. We would give him 0 stars if possible.

We did…read morethe project in two stages, first repairing the drywall & painting the living areas & second, the bedrooms & bathrooms. The first stage of drywall repair was great & the living areas were finished with good quality, promptness & fairly clean. The second stage was miserable. We prepped the house by moving & covering furniture & removing lights and switch plates. We planned to stay in an AirBnB for five days, 2 days longer than originally promised. On the third work day, I dropped in to find NO ONE there and half the project finished. After calling the lead guy (who was handling family tasks), I was told the job would be finished on Friday (5 days). We booked the AirBnB for two more days. No one ever called again. I walked in Friday afternoon to find everything finished aside from equipment sitting in our backyard. Only after I texted with Daniel did I learn they had finished on Thursday and was promised the equipment would be picked up Monday. Over the last few days we have found many disappointing issues. Some walls were only painted with one coat with the old color still showing through. All the trim was sprayed (not hand-painted like the first stage) so there was overspray dust everywhere, overspray drops on our furniture, tile & accessories. Some trim was not even painted and some only had a single half-brushed coat. While I have reached out to Daniel & he offered to fix the mistakes, my faith in their workmanship is gone. I understand there were family issues to deal with but there was little to no communication during (or after) the process. At $2.15 per square foot we paid a fair price for a job that started as a an excellent value and ended with more work left behind.

While here they explain in the 7 years since I last used them they've expanded their offerings to Sun Protection including sunscreens and outdoor sun protection roller shades. I had no idea and while I had no needs in those areas I casually mentioned a problem I was having to see if they could offer a solution.. My house has a flat patio roof like many here in Phoenix, with stucco pony walls that direct water to one drain. The flat part is in good shape but the top of the stucco pony walls have deteriorated badly, to the point that one can see rusted chicken wire in the deteriorating stucco. (See before pictures). My house was scheduled to be painted and I knew even repairing the damaged stucco and painting it wasn't going to be a good long term fix. While I knew standard rain gutters weren't the answer, I asked Andre if he could think of a solution to prevent future sun deterioration as well as water intrusion to the top of those walls. He quickly grabbed a ladder, took some measurements and notes and came up with a proposal on the spot. You can see the results in the 'After Pictures. They fabricated a custom cap out of aluminum that covers the top of the wall from end to end. The installation is beautiful and looks as it was always part of the plan. In actuality it should have been. I can't thank Andre and Phoenix Rain Gutters and Sun Protection enough for their creativity, craftsmanship and excellence. Strongly recommend them for standard jobs and even for consultation about solutions to outdoor sun and rain issues.
