I've had Apex for my lawn and shrubs for a year and have not been happy. Had a few plants that looked like they were dying so I called twice and was told someone would be out and nobody ever came. One shrub has died and the grass is now half weeds and half grass. The kicker was when I called to cancel they asked why I was cancelling and never said we're sorry or we'll get someone out right away. They just said "OK, we've cancelled your service." read more

The first company rep (Bill) came to the house and gave me a list of things that must be done before termite tenting can take place. I took off work for days to ensure I got everything completed, which I did. When the team came to tent the house, they made up completely different excuses of why it couldn't be done, including there being fish in a pond, which wasn't true. This destroyed the closing (sale) of my house. On top of that, APEX only refunded 80%, stealing 20% for themselves on top of their incompetence. read more

I'm posting my Complaint Description which I submitted to Better Business Bureau today Buyers Be Aware of this company please read bellow: Extort initial fee of service out of us and performed less than half of what was promised to what we paid for May 2nd, 2020 Service date. Hired this company to do outside pest control, initial clean-up outside which included knocking down spider webs, wasp nests. Bill sales rep promised to have his tech come over May 2nd, 2020 to do outside pest control spray and initial clean-up knocking down spider webs, wasp nest around home, eaves area, lanai and screen enclosure. Tech came in the morning May 2nd did quick spray and performed none of the initial clean-up as company promised. Their tech was in and out of our property in literally less than 7 minutes. Needless to say did nothing of the initial clean-up for what we paid $100 for. It's apparent this company involves in deceiving trade practices to lure in customers initially. At this time I've to rely on a leap of faith as to if the May 2nd outdoor bug-spray whether or not was performed with any integrity or competence at all. Needless to say would be naive for us to believe that it was. Since all the deceiving green shoots that Apex through our way to extort initial fee of service out of us which we paid via credit card before the work was performed and Apex performed less than half of what was promised to what we paid for (and by the way what was done was also performed with the incompetence of epic proportion); We asked Apex to refund $34 to our credit card for initial clean-up and they can keep $66 from $100 that we paid for outdoor spray/clean-up which I said I have no reason to believe given what I have seen that even mere a spray was done with any professionalism or competence. James from Apex replied on May 4th, 2020 that he would refund the money but then company still refuse to do so or even reply back to our 3 attempts to get status on the refund that they promised. I have all of this in writing as a proof of all of the events I mentioned above (emails and texts). I also have photos of the lack of work, professionalism and incompetency performed at our property on May 2nd by this company albeit in less than 7 minutes that their tech was here on our property. Just had home tented with vikane gas. Supposed to be a sure thing. Very first night at home had bedbugs on bed. Called today with the understanding they would come out for one spraying. First man I talked to was very cordial and said they would come spray. Called back to request our car also be fumigated. Hit a brick wall. Now refusing to do anything further on the grounds bedbugs can be brought back in. We were completely washed with a soap for removing lice, etc. Clothes discarded before reentering. Saw bedbug on bed before my body even touched the bed so no way did I bring the bug back into the house. They are now refusing to do anything further. Should have stuck with Massey, my usual exterminators. Robbed. read more

Save you money, save yourself a lot of time! We moved to FL. recently, and of course needed to hire a pest control Co. Afer doing my homework and reading reviews we chose APEX. We had a very nice man (Nelson Cole) who came out and presented his sales pitch on April 21, 2017. This is the day our headaches begin! We paid in full for 1 year of service(405.00)upon signing a contract! The understanding and contract clearly states: for the first 3 months our yard would be serviced monthly and then every other month afterwards until March of 2018! They did send a guy out for our 1st treatment at the end of April! We have yet to receive our 2nd treatment (which according to our contract, should have happened in June. We have called repeatedly, only to be told someone would get back to us and let us know when they would be sending out another technician......nothing but LIES, I tell you! I give great reveiews as well as bad revews as deserved. If you choose to do business wit APEX, shame on you! You have been FAIRLY warned! another month passed and they didn't come back as promised! I don't usually write reviews, but we had a huge ant problem that would not go away. I was just figuring this is Florida so we have to live with it. Apex fixed it, and it took some time and a lot of visits. I have to give credit to one of their managers, Stu, who made it his job to come out and tackle our problem. He was very professional and courteous, he came out as much as we needed and when it best worked into our schedule. He is the reason we are very satisfied with Apex and we do not have an ant problem anymore. If/when the ants come back I know Apex will come out and take care of it, at no extra cost other then our monthly service fee which is very fair compared to other companies. read more
