I was elated an IV was established on one attempt, but extremely painful with the slighted injection push. From there this turned into the worst MRI experience of my life. This was the first time I've ever been painfully uncomfortable with the positioning. My leg had to be "straight" to make sure foot was "flat" in the brace. A request for lumbar support, and to bend the knees to take pressure off the back was refused, but allowed to bend opposite leg. Received warm blanket...Yes! Didn't get ear plugs, just a headset over the ears. I've had both together in previous MRI's that really dampened the noise. It was loud this time, despite the music. I had one hand under my back for support. The call light ball was draped over me, not placed in my hand. Before starting, I said I was uncomfortable. The reply was is would be a quick MRI. I heard that several times, every time said I was uncomfortable, and there were pins and needles in the exam foot like it was falling asleep. Before the contrast, I said my leg was hurting and foot "really falling asleep". Last scan and we're done, just a few minutes, they said. I felt they thought I was a complainer, or just didn't care? After the scan, my foot and leg hurt. I pointed to the deep depression on the back of the leg from the brace...it's why I was hurting and getting pins and needles in the foot. I was ignored. Another tech, I hadn't seen before, asked how it went while taking the blanket. I pointed to the depressions on the leg as said it was the worst MRI of my life. I'll never forget her uncompassionate reply "there's always a first." No apologies from anyone. No one examined the deep depressions in the leg, and I don't have a history of edema in the lower extremities. Photos taken after getting dressed.

No one at the nursing station, took over an hour to get a call light answered. Then Aaron the charge nurse yelled at myself and my sister in the hallway. He was trying to state the rules but in the rudest and unprofessional way, his face was bright red and clearly already in an agitated state. My father was in a serious accident and we as family are stressed and sleep deprived, I would think that a nurse would have the professionalism to speak to families in a respectful and caring way. Aaron did not, as someone who works in health care, I would never have someone like Aaron representing my facility. My father's call light was on for over an hour and no one came in, but Aaron is concerned about how many people are in the room, and that I did try to go through an door that someone excited that was connected to the unit, but did not. I did not think it was that big of an issue since the doors go to the same unit, however do understand why it would be an issue. Aaron could have approached the situation in a more professional way and spoken to myself and my sister like adults and not children. I am even more concerned that a nurse would show his agitation towards a family, how are the patients treated? Does he get irritated with them? I am also concerned that I was told I would be kicked out and not be allowed back, so now feel I cannot bring up concerns. The one is only due to the step down unit. The trauma unit and ICU would get 5. However, one person can ruin something.

Credit to the attending physician's assistant, who made the right diagnosis: BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). Basically it's crystals rattling around in your inner ear where they're not supposed to be. A physical therapist was supposed to treat it. Instead, he did his own tests and decided that it wasn't BPPV because BPPV is supposed to be brief. So no treatment, only a recommendation to see an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat doc). This all took 5-1/2 hours, and then my wife was sent home. Her vertigo resumed on the way home and continued the next day. So, I watched a total of 3 YouTube videos, then did my own Dix-Hallpike test, which was positive for a problem with her right ear. She did the Epley Maneuver, and it fixed her vertigo (several days now, no more symptoms). We'll be getting a large bill from the hospital, but they didn't fix anything. Instead engaging in side quests, they should focus exclusively on hiring the best people, training them well, and delivering high quality medical care at reasonable cost.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience due to serious and ongoing administrative failures…read morerelated to my medical records. In early 2023, I was seen through this healthcare system for an early miscarriage. Unfortunately, that miscarriage was never properly documented in my medical record. As a result, my chart continued to reflect an active pregnancy that did not exist. Months later, when I returned to another clinic within the same healthcare system for X-rays after a wrist injury, I was congratulated by staff and told that it "looked like I had just had a baby." I again had to explain that I had miscarried earlier that year. This confirmed that my records had still not been corrected. Nearly a year later, I was informed that I am now banned from this clinic due to "missed pregnancy appointments" related to that same nonexistent pregnancy. I was told I could not be seen under any circumstances. I am currently experiencing concerning health symptoms and was attempting to obtain thyroid testing. Instead, I was denied care due to an internal documentation error that was never addressed. Patients should not be penalized for administrative failures--especially when those failures involve pregnancy loss. The lack of accountability and compassion in resolving this issue is deeply troubling.

He'd immediately get right into asking the requisite questions with nothing extra. Every single appointment felt perfunctory. I finally recently made the switch to someone else who actually wants to get to know me outside of UCHealth. There is more to psychiatry than just following procedure and filling out required questionnaires, which Dmitriy doesn't put into practice.

He was transferred from a hospital as he needs mental health help. I was told that the treatment team would meet and I would get a call. I got a call back from Trevor and all he talked about was how my son was going to get discharged. He is paranoid, is having hallucinations, and suicidal thoughts. It has been apparent to everyone in the past two weeks but this person in less than 12 is planning to discharge him. I was told it was because 1) This is America 2) Colorado can't afford to treat mental health and the then told 3) if he wants to go die in the street he can. Thanks Trevor for that great customer service. I now know that he will not receive any quality of care there because you and the staff don't care. At least that is what you voiced to me today.

After seeing our primary care doctor for 30+ years, we were shunted upstairs to Saint Bay daycare because we were two minutes late for our appointment. We have been very disappointed since the switch from being UC Health affiliated to Village Medical affiliated. I am only staying because of our wonderful doctors. As with other reviews, it seems impossible to get through to the office location. It seems like every time I call now-a-days, I get sent to a foreign call center which is very annoying. I miss being be able to directly engage with my local office. Their portal to schedule appointments isn't nearly as robust/user friendly as well often leading me to need to call, only to get bounced to a call center. Village Medical nickel and dimes for stuff that used to be and is still covered by UC Health under a visit co-pay, such as routine virus/bacterial infection screening. Village Medical seems to have reduced their services as well. In December, I took my daughter to Associates Urgent Care to get RSV, Covid, Flu test only to be told after the fact, when I was getting test results, that RSV test is no longer a covered/contracted service. That blew my mind considering how bad RSV was last winter. Plus, it was always covered before. I had to go to UC Health to repeat the tests to include RSV, which my daughter ended up testing positive for. I'm thankful my insurance didn't deny the second visit at UC Health. To the decision makers for Associates in Family Medicine.......please go back to UC Health affiliation or ditch Village Medical.
