My wedding was on November 11, 2017 - and I had actually booked a photographer/videographer in…read moreDecember of 2016. I paid my deposit and after a few weeks i started to feel really bad about it - it gave me a very uneasy feeling in my stomach everytime I thought about it - and then the more uneasy I felt - the more I thought about it to the point I couldn't sleep it worried me they would ruin my photos - they just didn't seem to be listening and I was allured by the price of their package. I went with my gut, against everyone's advice in the summer - I cancelled my contract, swallowed my deposit, and started my search again. Because I was getting married in only 3/4 months - on a very popular date (11/11) I didn't have many GOOD options left - and quickly was blowing through my limited options - even though they say beggars can't be choosers, I was expecting A LOT. I found Dawn online, and was IN LOVE with her portfolio - and I didn't really think she had my date available - but she did! I snached her up quickly before anyone else got to! We met with Dawn for the first time only a few short weeks before our wedding and we were in love with her. She really seemed to care about the details of our wedding, and that was important because I cared so much about all the small details of my wedding. We talked for a few hours and really felt like she was the perfect match for us. She showed up the morning of my wedding with her assistant Ashlyn. It was very important for us to have 2 photographers because we have 2 brides to focus on. Dawn was with me, and answered a lot of my questions about how things would go and all the wedding traditions. She such a pleasure to work with! and we had now booked separate photo and video companies - and they worked together like true professionals! you would swear the way they worked they'd be working for the same company. So in my bridal suite you had Dawn and my videographer moving couches and people's things around to get photos by the window. Meanwhile in my wife's bridal suite you had Ashlyn standing on the couches, laying over the videographer to get her shots. Dawn & Ashley wrangled up a bridal party of like 20 people and made sure we got our photos done quick in the cold without dealing with dilly-dallying from people. we called her "bubbly & on point!" which is exactly what she was. Everyone in our bridal party loved them because they were such a joy to work with. Also my wife had an allergic reaction to her makeup, and dawn said she will try her hardest to fix it for our wedding photos, and she DELIVERED! because my wife was like crying she was going to look ugly in all the pictures. Dawn did an amazing job at getting the photos with her head angled so you didn't notice, or get it far away so it didn't look bad at all. Our wedding photos are SO beautiful! and we are so incredibly thankful that we hired Dawn Joseph Photography for our wedding!! Thank you SO much Dawn & Ashlyn for all of your hard work, love, attention, and being such a pleasure for us to work with! Thank you for being apart of our "dream team!" With love, Ari & Trish Palomino

We hired Fernando and his assistant for our wedding at Casa Belvedere and could not have asked for…read morea better experience. From cocktail hour through the ceremony and all the way into the reception, everything was seamless. During cocktail hour, the music set exactly the right relaxed, elegant tone while guests mingled -- never too loud, never too quiet. For the ceremony, the timing was perfect down to the second: the processional cues, the transitions, all flawless, which took so much pressure off us knowing that piece was handled. But the reception is where Fernando truly shined. He followed our Spotify playlists as a great foundation, but also layered in his own recommendations that fit our crowd perfectly -- it was clear he was reading the room in real time rather than just running a preset list. He and his assistant kept the energy high all night, and had guests of every age on the dance floor. The transitions between dinner, toasts, and dancing were smooth and professional, and every announcement was clear and well-timed. If you're looking for a DJ who's not just a music player but a true event professional who manages the flow of your entire wedding day, Fernando is who you want. Worth every penny -- we'd book him again in a heartbeat!

One of the biggest decisions to make for your wedding is choosing the music, and one of the BEST…read moredecisions we could have ever made was working with Christian and his team at Blanc Noir Event Group. The moment my husband and I met Christian we felt welcomed and immediately connected. As a gay couple, you never know how you'll be received from vendors and Christian was incredibly friendly and accepting. We knew we were in good hands and that Blanc Noir would be the perfect DJ, and WOW, Christian went above and beyond for us. Not only did Christian make sure to play every song we wanted to hear, but he also made sure to not play all the songs we didn't want to hear, which in my opinion is just as important. Christian and his amazing team covered everything from sound during the ceremony, to music during the cocktail hour, and was also the perfect emcee for the evening. He did an amazing job of keeping the flow going, and the dance floor full! The biggest compliment from our wedding was how incredible the music and DJ was, and we give all of the credit to Christian and his team. We hope to plan many more parties in the future, and now know the best DJ in the area!
