We found him online and he was quick to respond, communicated clearly, and was very receptive to our requests and ideas. His photographs are amazing, and my wife and I couldn't be happier for all his help before and during our wedding. He used the landscape to frame beautiful shots, even in the wind and rain of the Poconos, and provided us a very nice mix of light and dark, black & white and color, and serious and funny photos from our big day. He got some great ones of our dog, too. Even when he had a family emergency pop up that potentially conflicted with our wedding date he went out of his way to arrange another local photographer as a stand-in, just in case he wasn't able to make it. When we started looking for a photographer for our wedding we looked at a bunch of different websites to check out some of their work. We immediately fell in love with Jose's style and knew he was the person we wanted to document our wedding day. Our phone conversations leading up to the big day were great. Jose made us feel very comfortable as we discussed all the details. We live in NC and our wedding was in PA so we met with him a few months before the wedding on location to go over timelines, shot locations, etc. He made sure that he knew exactly what pictures we wanted and what we were looking for. I'm not sure that I am even able to appropriately convey the amazing experience that I had with Jose! I rented a house in the Poconos for my 26th birthday and thought it would be nice to have a photographer come to take pictures of me and my friends. Jose is the #1 rated person on both Google and Yelp in the Bushkill/Poconos area so I contacted him in mid-december with my request for mid-february. Jose was EXTREMELY responsive, I think I received a reply within minutes. To say that his price is overly reasonable may be understatement, especially compared to the quality of his work. Jose checked in with me a couple of times prior to the day of the photoshoot. He was always responsive and willing to answer any and all of my questions. On the day of the shoot, Jose arrived right on time. I'm sure that anyone may be intimidated walking into a house with 13 women but Jose fit right in, he was accommodating! Within an hour Jose had captured most of the photos that I'd intended to take. I was able to view the photos on camera and because I was so happy with them I decided to pay him while he was there. Jose decided to stay for another 2 hours just to take candids and capture the moment. When the group decided to go snow tubing, Jose volunteered to wait while we got dressed just so that he could lead us to the ski resort and capture some photos there. It's rare to find someone as humble, genuine, confident, knowledgable, creative, efficient, and diverse as Jose. Hours after he left, my friends were still raving about how awesome he is. Not even 5 hours after Jose left, I received a text with a link to 162 of the 400+ photos that he'd captured. He informed me that he would continue uploading but just wanted to give me a preview.
