Desi has better curries and rice and Alibaba has better kebabs and naan. Both are great and in my opinion are the two best curry spots in Buffalo (way better than India Gate or Taj if you are okay with Pakistani style curries (generally have more oil than Indian curries). I highly recommend the chicken biryani and the chicken achari curry. The achari is my favorite curry in Buffalo. Portions are massive and the small curry is more than enough for one person. Note: if you order using Doordash they don't have bread listed on the app. Just order a mango lassi and put that you want naan in the instructions. They'll call you if there are any issues.
