From the moment I reached out to Seth on a Saturday morning about a kitchen flood, he was prompt to…read morerespond by text and phone call. After assessing my situation wasn't an emergency (based on in-depth questions he asked he determined we had a clean water leak and no major signs of water damage), he scheduled for him and his team to come the following Tuesday. When they showed up, his team promptly went to work to carefully lay down floor covering (which I appreciated since we have a no-shoe policy in our house). Meanwhile Seth immediately began to inspect the source of the problem all the way to the farthest point of the water damage. He was very thorough and had a keen eye for detail as he began to point out details I hadn't even seen or imagined (later found out his background in construction is what lends to his extensive knowledge about building materials, how things should be built/how things should look etc). Long story short he determined that my water damage was not extensive at all despite the flooding we had. Instead of recommending I demo my kitchen and basement floor, ceiling, walls to track down every little sign of water damage (which would have probably gave them a chance to easily bill $40k to my insurance), he reassured me that because it was clean water that had flooded and because there was no sign of any major water damage to my home, I was good to go for this one time incident. He set up heavy duty dehumidifiers to dry out my basement and that was it. What I most appreciated is that he took the time to explain his observations and why he did what he did so that I was completely comfortable and understood what was going on in my home. He worked with me to only charge me for the labor incurred and dehumidifiers so I didn't have to go through insurance or even pay as much as my deductible. Their honesty and attention to detail was refreshing and reassuring. I hope to never have to go through another incident where my house floods or have a mold issue, but if I do I've already got Seth on my speed dial and my very short list of contractors I trust. I'm very OCD when it comes to getting things assessed and fixed properly - with Seth and his team's experience and eye for detail, it was nice to just relax and trust that I had professionals who will do what needed to be done. Highly recommend Rapid Response Restoration.

When we had a sewer line back up into our den and my office in the Fall of 2025 it was a gross and…read moresmelly disaster. I did a little research and found Rapid Restoration through their numerous 5-star reviews on Yelp and other websites and reached out to Daryl and a few other companies to see what it would take to get our house back into shape. Right from the first moment on the phone I knew that Daryl and Rapid Restoration would be the company we would go with. He gave me a thorough education about the process and gave me helpful advice right from the first moment. His help over the phone was always clear and accurate. He set us on the right path immediately. Seth and his crew were in our house within 48 hours to do the mitigation and boy were they thorough. The floor was pulled up, the room was disinfected and dried. And all the while, Daryl and Seth made sure that we had the documentation and backup necessary to communicate with our homeowners insurance company. With the mitigation done, the crew came back a few weeks later to actually do the repairs and get our floors back to the condition they were in before. This was equally impressive. The workmanship was truly beautiful. Seth has a great eye for design and color. Everything matches and looks beautiful. Every transition and grade was thought through and installed with accuracy and quality. Overall, youhear about the nightmares of dealing with homeowners insurance. There was NONE OF THAT. The Rapid Restoration crew were so buttoned up and knowledgable that we had literally no conflict or pushback from our homeowners insurance company. If you've had a similar issue in your own home - don't even think about it. Just call Daryl and the Rapid Restoration crew. I recommend them WITHOUT RESERVATION.

They placed a dehumidifier and seven large blowers which immediately started reducing remaining pockets of water and completely dried the affected materials within a few days. After the scheduled five days, very little water was being removed from the air and the equipment was removed as scheduled. The crew was courteous, clean, efficient and professional throughout the process. If you want it done fast and right, I highly recommend them.

We live in a condo and the property management company uses Servpro as one of their main…read morecontractors so, in a way, we were, unfortunately, forced to work with Servpro. Because of this, we believe Servpro was being completely bias towards us (they even refused to provide us with a detailed report of the incidents; we were told it had to be approved by the Property Manager, which never was). The owner has a video out there talking about empathy and how he looks for this quality in the people he hires. Well, let me tell you, in our opinion, we did not see nor felt any empathy (and/or sympathy) from anyone at Servpro at all (felt more like a factory line... get in and get out). Their remediation department (one guy in particular) was a complete disappointment. This guy told us things that were not true and his whole demeanor was one of... "I know it all!" He even had his team put holes in our walls and when we complained, his response was, "Don't worry, the insurance will cover that!" We received a quote from Servpro to replace our wood floor, which included a $1,400.00 charge to remove & return appliances and a plumber charge since a "professional (according to them)" had to do it. So we brought this up and immediately got push back. We were told at first (verbally) that those charges were there because of the "estimating software" they use. Then, their own subcontractor (either by mistake or pure honesty) told us they would be the ones moving the appliances; yet, Servpro still wanted to charge the $1,400.00. This was an insurance claim for us, so we sent the flooring quote to our insurance carrier and they approved it. We were days away from scheduling the work, when we found out Servpro had quoted the wrong floor (prefinished vs. engineered)... Servpro ended up re-quoting the correct floor and we sent it again over to our insurance (they refused it so we had to find another contractor). We ended up finding another contractor who did it for cheaper than Servpro (the crazy thing here is Servpro not only wanted the amount of the quote, but also wanted a carpet credit that WE were entitled to receive from the management company... I brought it up to Servpro and they could not give me a definite answer as to why they wanted that money also; sounds like a total money grab to us). The PM who managed the work for us provided a very mediocre service. From her, "I cannot schedule the work yet, because it is not much to do!" to not responding to calls and saying, "I did not receive a call from you!" to texts saying, "I am on the road/I am at a job site!" So, basically, if she did not initiate a phone call, she would not answer the phone when we called. I also asked her for some additional quotes for cleaning and duct cleaning and her response was, "well, it would be best if you get quotes from somewhere else because they will too expensive with us because of our "estimating software!" Servpro knew the urgency we had with getting our condo back to normal (we went 6 months with no floor in our unit); yet, Servpro kept delaying the process, including waiting until 5pm to send emails to us, which felt was being done on purpose. Lastly, I will give credit to the owner because I reached out and, to my surprise, he responded... he did send his Director of Operations to do damage control, but by then.. it was too late.
