I came to Denver for work and have been on the hunt to buy some soju for almost 48 hours. I didn't find a small selection at a liquor store in downtown (where I'm staying) but they were selling it for per bottle which is crazy. We ended up driving from downtown all the way to H Mart across the street from this store just to buy soju just to find out that the H Mart here does not even stock soju at all?! LUCKILY, we found this liquor store. We only hoped they might at least a small shelf of soju but this place had almost a full corner of it with so many different flavors that I (coming from California where I have very easy access Asian products) have never even seen. The prices were higher than I'm used to but honestly not too bad (~$5 for a standard bottle) considering how hard it was to find what we were looking for. TLDR: if you you're looking for soju, skip H Mart and come here lol

They still offer tastings, which is nice, but the overall selection has become noticeably worse. At one point, most of the coolers were completely empty. They also used to carry WeldWerks, and they still have a sign advertising it, but after trying to find it several times over the past few months, I finally asked the cashier. She seemed completely unaware of what I was talking about, even after I showed her the sign. The biggest issue came recently when I purchased some Jack Daniel's shooters, which I've bought at this location many times. When I got home and checked my banking app, I noticed the total was significantly higher than usual. I initially assumed something had been double-scanned, so I called to ask about it. I was told the shooters had gone from $1.99 to $2.99 (a 50% increase) and that Jack Daniel's had "raised the price." I checked other liquor stores and did a quick search afterward, and that explanation did not appear to be accurate. Other stores are still selling the same shooters for $1.99. I really hate leaving a negative review because I've been coming here for years, but between the increasingly empty inventory, employees seeming unaware of products the store is advertising, and questionable pricing explanations, I'm honestly left wondering what is going on with this business. It feels like something has changed significantly, and unfortunately, it's not for the better.
