Great place to hang out and have a few beers listen to great live music. One of the best dive bars that's not a bar that I've been to.

An easy choice for a laid back afternoon in King of Prussia. We stopped into Workhorse Brewing Company for a Saturday lunch and walked away genuinely impressed. The space itself is massive and well laid out, making it ideal for groups while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. Even better, it is kid friendly, which makes it a great option when you want a brewery vibe without excluding the whole family. The drink program really shines here. The beer lineup was solid across the board, with styles for just about everyone. What surprised us most was the cocktail menu. They were running seasonal Christmas renditions, including an Old Fashioned that was festive without being gimmicky and genuinely excellent. It is refreshing to find a brewery that takes cocktails seriously. Food came out quickly and was better than expected. Everything we tried was tasty, but their take on the traditional Philly cheesesteak stood out and is absolutely worth ordering. Though a slight miss for the buffalo chicken cheeseteak, as it was dry and under seasoned. Overall, Workhorse is a great place to spend an afternoon. Whether you are meeting friends, bringing a group or even showing up with kids in tow, it delivers on drinks, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The large bar and dining areas will easily hold huge crowd Sadly our visit here will probably be our last. The vibe here is most definitely millennial driven. No menus - digital code to directly order from completely eliminating the need for wait staff. You order online pay online and your food is brought out. Plates, utensils, and water are all self service. If you want to sample some more beers. You must order them through the app as well. This discouraged us from ordering more than we would have had there been an actual waiter/waitress. The lack of personal interaction was disheartening. The food was decent but nothing exceptional as we sampled the wings. Buffalo chicken egg rolls and cheese steak. We would have opted to order some desert "bombs" as well but again, the lack of wait staff had us reluctant to splurge. From what we could see the venue offers lots to do with corn hole, bingo nights, live music and more but we came on a weeknight with nothing going on. I would think if we came on an event night we may have had a different experience. Granting stars for the cleanliness, possible potential for live music, the edibility of the food but for us it's a one and done.

***This review is for their catering hall***…read more My husband and I decided to have a small destination wedding in Key West (which we had in May 2012 and it was fabulous), however, we wanted to throw a big, casual, and fun party for our (large) family and friends. We researched places all over Philly and the surrounding suburbs. I had been to a college formal at Washies Memorial Hall so I suggested checking it out. We ended up deciding it was a great option for the following reasons: Large space-- I believe the max is right around 250 people Plenty of parking/transportation options- this spot has a large parking lot AND it is easily walkable from the Conshohocken train station Appeal of Conshohocken- it has hotel options that were walkable from Washies, there were bars within a few blocks for the afterparty, and it is right off 476 and 76 Food and drink options- super affordable (see my PTG Catering review for a review of the food) Our party was this past Saturday and it was a huge hit. The staff at Washies was very helpful during the planning process and on the day of the event. All our guests were impressed by the space and had a great time. I highly recommend Washies Memorial Hall for your next event!

He got angry when we asked him for a glass of water because it was 10 minutes before his shift. He made comments to us about how he wasn't being paid to stay after 11 even thought we were just finishing cleaning up and it was still 10:30. He also closed up the bar an hour before our event ended and wouldn't even get water or soda for anyone. Last year we hoped he was just in a bad mood. This year I think he's just legitimately a jerk. We already decided we're taking the event elsewhere next time.

Joyce Dugan from the Saturday Club was nice and easy to work with. Since they didn't have a Friday event, they gave us keys on Friday and allowed us to do set up Friday evening and Saturday morning. They did provide the tables and chairs and set them up on Friday for us which was awesome. The employee Chris was there in the office during the wedding if we needed anything. The place is really cute and was the perfect size for our wedding. We had just the perfect amount of room for the number of table and chairs we used and enough room on the dance floor. There is a little area/ private room near the bathrooms that serves as the bridal suite and also a great place to nurse my son and for other nursing moms. The price was great and I love what the money goes towards. I would absolutely recommend this for a wedding of 50-90 guests or for other events. This would also be a great spot for bridal and baby showers. And they worked so well with our caterer. We put the photo booth in the front vestibule area. There is also a coat closet when you first walk in.

The ENTIRE POMME TEAM helped my sister-in-law have the wedding of her absolute dreams, and every detail was handled with such care and grace. From start to finish, the experience felt seamless and magical. What stood out the most was the warmth of the staff--every single person had a smile, was incredibly kind, and made us all feel like family. That level of hospitality is rare, and it truly elevated the entire celebration. The atmosphere they created was not only elegant and beautiful but also filled with joy and love. George and his team went above and beyond in every way possible. They weren't just hosting an event; they were creating an unforgettable experience. Because of them, my sister-in-law's wedding wasn't just special--it was extraordinary. If you're looking for a venue and a team that will treat your event with the highest level of professionalism, care, and genuine kindness, Pomme is the place. I will forever be grateful for the memories they helped us create!

While our wedding day (4/12/25) turned out beautiful in many ways, the journey getting there was…read moreunnecessarily stressful and left us with more regrets than we ever anticipated. For future couples considering Pomme: proceed with caution and a clear understanding of what you're walking into. Let's start with the good: The venue itself is gorgeous. We had to move our ceremony indoors at the last-minute due to weather, which I was heartbroken about, but I'll admit that the space still looked stunning. It's flexible and modern, giving couples a great canvas to make their own. The food and drinks were outstanding. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour, especially the cheesesteak station. And the Pineapple Margarita (our signature drink) was a crowd favorite. Service during the event was, for the most part, excellent. Guests told us it was some of the best they've experienced, especially how dinner was served in unison. Now...the bad: I showed up to the rehearsal with my parents, grandparents, and wedding party excited to walk through what was supposed to be the first look at our ceremony setup. Instead, we walked into a construction site. Tarps, ladders, open buckets of white paint, and men actively painting -- at the literal spot where I was to say my vows in less than 24 hours. No warning. No apology. Just a smile and a comment from our coordinator about how "lucky" we were to be the first wedding of the season with a "fresh coat of paint." That was not reassurance -- that was spin. And it was insulting. Our coordinator, was not the right fit. Our personalities didn't mesh from the beginning, but more importantly, I never felt prioritized or truly cared for. I didn't feel like a bride. I felt like a line item. Looking back, I wish I'd asked for someone else early on. Be prepared to spend thousands more than your initial quote. Nearly everything costs extra, and I don't mean small add-ons. $100 for a case of Miller Lite (yes, really). $55 for a bottle of Prosecco. And no, you can't bring your own drinks in the bridal suite. $1,400 for string lights (they put them up and take them down between every wedding just to ensure they can keep charging for them). $200/hour extra for time in the bridal suite, because the included five hours are never enough when doing a first look. Signature drinks, bridal suite food, even basic setup -- all à la carte and wildly overpriced. No one even bothered to tell me in the beginning that a big majority of gluten-free options (I have celiac disease) would cost extra. We were told the staff wouldn't help us set up the day-of, so we planned accordingly. But they did it anyway, which was a pleasant surprise! But then...our coordinator left. At 9:30pm. The only person who knew all our plans and logistics was suddenly gone without prior warning. By 11pm, it felt like pure chaos. Décor was being boxed up randomly, no one knew what belonged where or what was being donated, and I was being pulled in a million directions. Instead of heading to our after-party, I was left running damage control. In summary: Beauty and bites only go so far when the process is riddled with stress, miscommunication, hidden fees, and a lack of care. We spent a lot of money -- and what should have been the most joyful day of our lives still carries a sting. If you're considering Pomme, ask every question, get everything in writing, and advocate hard for yourself. Because I didn't -- and I regret it.
