If I could leave a zero I would. Been almost a year and this man still has not fixed my truck ac. He was paid to do the job and belt and change a compressor, here it is summer and ice called this place many many times with run around. What he was paid to do new, I'm being told the compressor isn't new and doesn't fit this truck so turn it on and my truck dies or air shoots out the side. Almost a heat stroke today and think he cares? "nope, going to care if I end up having a heat stroke after paying this company to do the job and won't do it right or fix what he screwed up this many months later. Guess this is headed to law if I do t end up going to hospital first over hear stroke. read more

Took all the push pins on the air deflectors and didnt replace them, used two of the four bolts that hold the radiator in place, and missing 1/2 of the skid plate bolts. read more

Pete from Anywhere Mobile Mechanic performed a pre purchase vehicle inspection and saved the day! He did a thorough inspection and found that the vehicle had been flooded and had many electrical issues as well as a lot of rust and mud on the undercarriage. BEWARE - do not hire this company. I hired them to replace a fuel pump in my truck and he quoted me $400 for labor as I already had a new pump. He came out Thursday but he did not finish and stated he would be back. We did not hear from him Friday and then at 1 am on Saturday morning, he randomly shows up and gets to work. He still did not finish and then later that Saturday he states he can not use our new fuel pump, however for $200 extra he can get a gas tank with the unit already installed. I agreed because I just needed my truck operational again. He tells me a few hours later the job is complete but the truck needs a new battery to start but he has another job he has to get to. He wanted to be paid before he left and I stupidly trusted this guy. After replacing the battery Saturday night I still had a truck that would not start and Pete began making excuses. Also, I believe he put a dead battery into my truck because I am 99% certain I never placed a Ford Factory battery into my 2004 Dodge Truck. On Monday I had the truck towed to a repair shop where they discovered that the tank he charged me for had a broken rollover valve and this mechanic DID NOT BOTHER TO PLUG IN THE NEW FUEL PUMP!! A $600 repair has now cost me $1900. All requests for a full or partial refund have been ignored by Pete. I will be reporting him to the BBB and the Texas Attorney General's office. If you value your time and money, or want a knowledgeable mechanic, DO NOT CALL this guy. read more

Let's start with what Pete did right. He showed up the first time and was able to get my parents' RV running again after he was called to repair the issues with how rough the engine was operating. Now the rest: Once they were up and moving toward their destination, they broke down completely about an hour later and were left completely stranded with their two dogs in the middle of a VERY busy road (in the dark) that required three police cars to surround them and attempt to keep them safe. Pete was called back and told my parents that he was on his way and would probably beat the tow truck to them. Guess who didn't EVER show up? Guess who stopped answering his calls? Guess who never called back after messages were left? Spoiler alert, it was Pete! Their responses on previous terrible reviews that say they'll "learn from this" are either lies or disillusion. Showing up when you say you will doesn't seem like a hard lesson that takes too much time to absorb, but here we are. My parents (a retired police officer and retired elementary school principal) were left in a dangerous situation, thinking help was on the way. Eventually, the police officers recommended a parking lot my parents could be towed to and that's where they sit today, 3 days later. They are unable to leave their RV for fear of it being towed away without someone present, but unable to even start the RV now. This is not a recreation vehicle. This is their home as they are fulltime RVers. But Pete got paid so I guess that's all that matters. read more
