I actually felt threatened by the 2 guys that showed up so I was nicer than I should have been. They kept saying "we can just leave!" I wish I would have just let them go. I've emailed the company but no response from my complaints. Here's my email to them: Hi Josh, I had my air ducts cleaned yesterday by your guys. I have a few things that I need to let you know about. * I asked them if they had shoe covers and they said no and that they would leave if I wanted them to. I asked them to stay. * They did not turn off the unit prior to cleaning which has now caused multiple issues with my unit. * I put in a new filter on Sunday. Today it is completely dirty. I expected a little dirt but not to the degree that it is now. * Because they did not turn off the unit prior to cleaning, all of the debris went back into my unit and it is now froze up. I have to have a service call to fix it because the air is not working. * I stayed with your guys to ensure they were doing their work properly and they kept making comments about me watching them saying "we better do a good job, she watching". They were not professional and I would like to be compensated for their work and attitudes and now my ac unit not working. I see there are no reviews on Yelp and I will probably be entering a poor one unless you can find a way to make this right. Also, they did not do an HVAC check or mold test as indicated in your quote.

Insurance company sent this company to remove stuff from water and to start drying remaining water…read more My family had the bulk of the water removed from basement prior to he service tech came. Tech said he would be removing ruined flooring and raise the personal items that were still on the floor when he got there so it would be less damage to my personal belongings. 90% of the visit was spent in his van (can be varified by neighbors and family that were there helping). He pulled up some flooring but left it in the basement. He raised less than half my belongs and the rest was left on the floor ruining the contents. He did place a couple jumbo fans which did nothing. Insurance denied my claim, the next day a female came and told me I owed $1722.49 for the work the tech completed and another $10k to finish with remediation in the basement so mold would not grow since insurance would not be covering. I started to get phone calls pretty regularly from the same female stating I need to pay $1722.49 for the services rendered. I asked to talk with a manager and she tells me she is the manager. Needless to say, I will not be calling these people again!

Secondly, you are probably worried a professional coming in to "help you" will also be taking advantage of your situation to maximize their profit. We had a fantastic experience with Nick Alley from Dry Effect. He came in, gave a very thorough investigation, taught us a bunch about what to look for and how to prevent future issues. He gave us great options for both professional and home remediation approaches, and the pros and cons of each. Nick went way above and beyond helping diagnose one of the problems we found that looked like a water/mold issue, but that was actually unrelated. Something that they wouldn't make a penny on from fixing. We have since chased it down, and he was spot on with his diagnosis. It felt like a real partnership with a company I could trust. I am sorry if you need them, and I hope I never need them again. But if I do, I won't hesitate for a *second* to call them back in.
