They have numerous programs for kids and even for adults who want to work with the barn staff and learn more about horses and their care. I give four stars only because the building itself needs updating, but the horses are beautifully cared for by people who have ridden and worked there for years. The land is lovely and riders can enjoy a terrific trail through the adjacent woods, as well. Lesson prices are commensurate with other local stables, and in my opinion, worth every penny! The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. If you've been intimidated by stable experiences, as I was in the past, this is the place for you! I've made new friends and really look forward to my visits to the Woodland!

When I got them I called and asked a question, my question was answered with incorrect information leading me to return the boots. Apparently at that time I was talking to an owner she said she would send out another pair of boots immediately but did not. When I should have received the replacement boots I got a call asking about the boots I returned...When I got the second pair of boots several weeks later they did not fit. If I had gotten correct information on the first pair of boots I would have kept them. I had already paid return postage, I have asked for a shipping label to return the second pair of boots. I have left approximately 8 unreturned emails, at least one unreturned voicemail, probably more, and had at least three people tell me they would call me back and have not. The last two times I have called have been during business hours and I didn't even get an answer! I used to work at Four Winds. Net and never in a million years would we have treated anyone like this!
