Attention Costco Shoppers!…read more I have always wanted to say that!:) So who visits Costco when they are on holiday in Santa Cruz? Me! I had a major problem arise with my hearing aid that needed immediate fixing or I would not be able to hear. Though late in the day... almost closing, I called the Hearing Department and left a voicemail asking for a return call regarding my non working, fairly new, hearing aid. (Side note: Having left many voicemails at my local Folsom Costco and rarely getting any sort of response, I was not expecting much from Santa Cruz Costco.) Unbelievably and thankfully, I received a return call the very next morning. And a helpful one. Hallelujah. Hector was very nice and said to come in and he would definitely check it out. Huge relief on my part. People with no hearing issues do not know the panic of not being able to hear. It totally affects one's quality of life. As a child a benign tumor rendered that ear useless. TMI:) Needless to say, I was up immediately and out the door driving across town to the Santa Cruz Costco. Bottom line... Hector was one of the hearing aid techs and the one who did fix my hearing aid. I want to sincerely thank him for his professionalism and friendly customer service. He also gave me some little plastic tools and showed me how to use them should the problem reoccur. Super nice guy. Patient and calm. It was really nice to be able to hear again! Having access to a hearing aid center when out of town is certainly a major benefit of being a Costco member. For such a nominal fee Costco is a super value. But you already knew that. Wherever you are... there might be a Costco nearby to help you too! Thank you, Hector, and Costco!

Their…read moreprices were lower than other tire retailers in the area and they do not charge for installation. Since I have an all-wheel-drive car and my tires were very worn I needed to buy four tires. They weren't able to take my car that day because it was late in the day and they already gad a full schedule. I made an appointment for the next day. They took my car in on time and had all four tires changed in an hour. I was very happy with the employees who were knowledgeable and helpful and I was very happy with the price and service in general.

Price - Reasonable, inexpensive. But I always end up buying stuff I do NOT need..... So for me it was a little wasteful. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 1994. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. They have huge carts for anyone shopping for a large haul of stuff . They have everything you need ! I can't remember anything on top of my head they don't have in stock. Large wide aisles and very clean. Restaurant supplies basic ones are also available. Not too many locations of US chef stores so take advantage of its presence if you need anything here.

Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences.  But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize.   As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station. Mini Mart within the building, a spacious lot with multiple pumps available, and conveniently located on a busy street corner where they provided cheaper than usual gas prices.

i live near the chevron mission st santa cruz. i have chevron card love chevron gas…read more crap "service" station!!! this station is owned managed by out of town owners who obviously don't care how often their crappy equipment breaks, or if the pumps read actual chevron cards. they say safeway credit $$ are honored. but you put in the information it says you can use the safeway discount but the price does not reduce. pump would not read actual chevron card. so i went inside and 3 times it said safeway discount applied. back to the pump and no discount. clerk said i had to pay cash not chevron card to get discount but big sign 3" letters says chevron discount cash/ chevron card. i've put up with similar problems at this particular chevron station for years. no more, screw the absentee owners and their faulty equipment. i will drive 10 miles to avoid this station. they are horrible in every way. goodbye crappy chevron on mission.

Theres a few of them who talk shit about customers in spanish and laugh, and the store always smells like weed or cigarettes.
