This review is long over due but I wanted to make sure I write it because it is well deserved. One of my close friends recommended Anya's Cakes to me and I'm so glad she did. I mainly communicated with Anya on Instagram and from the beginning to the end (and after) Anya so wonderful to work with. My son's 1st birthday was extra special thanks to Anya's beautiful dessert table and cake. Even on the day of the event, Anya brought her wooden set up, set up all the dessert (worked well with other vendors too) without any issues. She had no questions for me, instead I went with all her recommendations. I was so stress free because I could see she knew what she was doing - Everything was perfect! All the desserts tasted so good that our guests asked to take the left overs home! I highly recommend Anya. She will definitely be my go-to vendor for future events. I contacted many but I have to say Annia was the only one that replied back with such professionalism that i felt right away she's the one. Long story short, the party theme was avengers. I gave her a picture reference and OMG! Her cake was spot on! She was able to accommodate all my requests. It was so pleasant to see the cake looked exactly the way you wanted. We got the chocolate vanilla marble cake with chocolate ganache filling. MAMA MIA!!! The cake was moist and that chocolate ganache is HEAVEN!!! Did I mention how reasonable her price is? This review is long overdue. I've been ordering cakes from Anya I believe since 2007. I uploaded some photos. The cake designs always exceeded my expectation. The sponge cake is moist, filling is always delicious and overall not too sweet. I've tasted so many decorated cakes but nothing is close to Anya's. Taste gets normally compromised when baker concentrates on the design. With Anya's, all her cakes were made to perfection. Fondant is soft that my guests eat them all the time. Oh my gosh I absolutely love Anya! Last Saturday I had my little niece's First birthday, I found Anya on Yelp, called her last Tuesday and she had my cake delivered pronto on Saturday. I've never met Anya, I don't think she even has a store but just based on all the wonderful reviews on Yelp alone, I went with her. We tried the samples, showed her a prototype picture we like, explained that we wanted the cake to be match to the color of the dress, and we were done. I was in charged of my mother's cake so I wanted a real nice one that was like unique, not like those typical round or square cakes. Long story short. One was for the tasting and that was hard to figure out what we wanted to try cause everything was just so delicious. After we had booked her for our wedding.
