This review is long over due but I wanted to make sure I write it because it is well deserved. One of my close friends recommended Anya's Cakes to me and I'm so glad she did. I mainly communicated with Anya on Instagram and from the beginning to the end (and after) Anya so wonderful to work with. My son's 1st birthday was extra special thanks to Anya's beautiful dessert table and cake. Even on the day of the event, Anya brought her wooden set up, set up all the dessert (worked well with other vendors too) without any issues. She had no questions for me, instead I went with all her recommendations. I was so stress free because I could see she knew what she was doing - Everything was perfect! All the desserts tasted so good that our guests asked to take the left overs home! I highly recommend Anya. She will definitely be my go-to vendor for future events. Thank you for everything Anya! read more

My favorite baker! Anya makes truly beautiful cakes! I love her attention to detail and her creativity. She also makes great recommendations. She recently made my daughter's sweet sixteen cake which was gorgeous. In the past I've gotten other cakes from her including an Eid cake with mango filling. It was so cute and yummy that I regretted cutting it:) read more

The cake was delicious and the details on the cake were really good for the price. They boxed the cake nicely and service overall was great. I will try Anya's cakes again. read more

I've never done business with this place but I tried! I'm giving 1 star because of the difficulty of initiating communication, placing an order, etc. I have reached out 3 times since December 2023 inquiring about availability for March 2024. Twice through their website and once through IG. Nothing. No reply whatsoever. read more

The cake was cute AND flavorful. You almost never get both in custom cakes. The cake was so moist and everyone enjoyed it. It was super cute and the star at my daughter's birthday party. Will order from again. read more

This review is too long over due. I had an original baker but she moved out of the state. So was pretty nervous when I had to find a new one. I contacted many but I have to say Annia was the only one that replied back with such professionalism that i felt right away she's the one. Long story short, the party theme was avengers. I gave her a picture reference and OMG! Her cake was spot on! She was able to accommodate all my requests. It was so pleasant to see the cake looked exactly the way you wanted. We got the chocolate vanilla marble cake with chocolate ganache filling. MAMA MIA!!! The cake was moist and that chocolate ganache is HEAVEN!!! Did I mention how reasonable her price is? She also delivered the cake on time too. She is definitely a baker sent from heaven!! We only communicated via email. But hey, literally everything went well. So rest assured, you can count on her for your special occasion. read more

I've ordered from Anya's cakes for eight years and I have been very pleased with each cake she has made for us! She has very creative designs, and the execution of the cakes are flawless!!! This review is long overdue. I've been ordering cakes from Anya I believe since 2007. I uploaded some photos. The cake designs always exceeded my expectation. The sponge cake is moist, filling is always delicious and overall not too sweet. I've tasted so many decorated cakes but nothing is close to Anya's. Taste gets normally compromised when baker concentrates on the design. With Anya's, all her cakes were made to perfection. Fondant is soft that my guests eat them all the time. I always get compliments. Thank goodness they deliver in the Bay Area! read more

Oh my gosh I absolutely love Anya! Last Saturday I had my little niece's First birthday, I found Anya on Yelp, called her last Tuesday and she had my cake delivered pronto on Saturday. I've never met Anya, I don't think she even has a store but just based on all the wonderful reviews on Yelp alone, I went with her. She made me a chocolate/cookies and cream pink and green birthday cake (I uploaded a photo), 4 tiers for only $195. Very affordable and very delicious. I can yell off the rooftops about my wedding cakes. It was above all expectations. As soon as I get my pictures, I will post mine. Anya's cakes are unquie. She does not bake them days in advance like many places do because they service huge volume of clinets. When you work with Anya you get her full attention. The tasting process was easy. We tried the samples, showed her a prototype picture we like, explained that we wanted the cake to be match to the color of the dress, and we were done. We had red velved cake decorated with red fondants, few simple white flowers and cat paw prints. It looked exactely as I envisioned it would look. Every single guest of ours raved about the taste of the cake and many of them had seconds. My sons had three helpings. Anya delivers her cake to us and set it up on the table. Anya is amazing and she is a true artist! read more

Anya did an amazing job creating a perfect custom cake for my little girls' birthday party. I described what I was hoping for over the phone, and she responded by email with several pictures of other cakes that she has created so I could best choose the final details of the cake I wanted. I called her on Monday for a cake to be ready on Friday, so very last-minute, especially during these crazy Covid times. I was thrilled when I saw the cake she had created, it was even better than I had imagined and absolutely perfect for my girls. They were so delighted when they saw it at their party, it was the star of the show. Likewise, it fed my entire party of over 15 people. A great value for the price of $100 which included design and delivery to my door, not to mention it was delicious! We will most certainly be using Anya again and I would happily recommend her to any friends or family who need an awesome cake! read more

I used Anya's cakes for my wedding in September. It was a relaxed garden wedding so I didn't want to go overboard with a cake that was too "done up". I have used Anya before for cupcakes for parties etc and was always very happy with her product and service. I was truly blown away in working with her for my wedding. She meet with me to get an idea of what I would like, she came prepared with several visuals and within 10 or 15 minutes had it down! She pointed out a few styles that I thought were perfect and I gave her some room to make changes as she saw fit. I totally put my trust in Anya and I 'm so glad I did! The cake she made was perfect and the style was beautiful - my guests are still talking about the cupcakes she made! I totally, 100% recommend Anya! read more

Woah!!! Amazing is what I say when you order cakes from Anya. I have ordered custom cakes 2 times once for a baby shower and another for a Birthday, both the cakes turned out to be very good. Annia is an amazing cake maker!!!! This review is a little late in the making but I can't agree more that if you want a cake for any occasion Annia should be you "go to"! My son had his Mickey Mouse themed birthday party back in October. Not only was Annia very pleasant to deal with she made the whole ordering process easy. I am not a creative person so I was able to show a couple inspiration photos to Annia and she put her own creative twist on it. The cake turned out great and the taste was impeccable! For the adults the Carmel and Coffee cream is to die for!!! Everyone came back for seconds! If you want an amazing cake not only aesthetic wise but taste as well go to Annia you won't regret it! I will be using her for all my future parties! read more

Anya is AWESOME. I had my mother-in-law's birthday cake made by her last year. I was in charged of my mother's cake so I wanted a real nice one that was like unique, not like those typical round or square cakes. Long story short. I emailed Anya a design I wanted and she made it. When it was delivered to the restaurant EVERYONE was surprised, amazed LOL. My mother-in-law thought hubby and I got her a Louis Vuitton bag for her birthday, Nobody didn't want to eat it because they said it looked to nice to eat. Anyways Anya is awesome the cake she recommended tasted great, the price for 30+ people was reasonably and was delivered for free all the way in San Francisco. I would definitely use her again. I have ordered Anya's cakes since the past 3 years, for my son and daughter's birthdays and never been dissapointed! You can ask her to custom make your cake, according to a design that you provide, and it turns out just the way you ask her to create the cake! She accepts different ideas, and provides her suggestions in a good manner. Her cakes are delicious! Everyone ALWAYS loves the designs and the delicious flavor of the cake! She is reasonable as well, and delivers the cake as well, which is very helpful, especially when you are running around the day of the party running a million other tasks! I have got to be one of Anya's Cakes BIGGEST fans. Their cakes are so amazing and over the top that I find myself throwing useless events just so I can order another cake from them. There are so many yummy flavors to choose from. I recommend, double chocolate cake with chocolate gnache and fresh strawberries. (D'LISH). Even the fondont tastes good and if u are a cake fan like me... u would know... fondont usually doesn't taste all that. If you check out her website and facebook, the cakes she made me were the 4 tier barney and friends cake, the cricket theme cake (cricket as in the sport), and the 2 tier teapot cake with sunflower cupcakes and bumble bee cake pops. Everything looked and tasted amazing. I'm not one to have time for reviews, but with this one... everyone needs to know how amazing they are! They also deliver and are very punctual. I tell everyone I know about them. Their cakes are also sooooooo afordable. My friends get shocked when I tell them how much. They say, thats almost like Safeway's price but a realllllllyyyyyyy nice cake. =) Looking really forward to my kids Moving Thomas the Train cake this September. =) a very satisfied customer, Siely~ =) read more

I was planning a nautical themed baby shower for a best friend. I found Annia on Yelp. I was so happy to find her in the bay area so I sent her an email and picture of the design I was interested in. She was very quick to respond and we emailed several times until I was happy with the flavors, size, and design. The cake was delivered the day of the event which was great because I didn't have to worry about damaging the cake. Although it was delivered a little late the presentation and taste of the cake made up for it. Everyone loved the design and best of all the taste. Several people asked me, "Who made the cake?" I will definitely use Annia again. read more
