But Doug in concert with Troy Booth, TSB Services Utah, found that my skimmer never had rebar to hold it in place over Utah's winters. These 3 workers were the best I've seen of any kind of hired professioonals in 3 years, doing any kind of work. My deep appreciation to Doug and Bryce.

We've been waiting on parts that were part of warranty for over 2 years... (can get them on Amazon, so their excuse is nothing but BS). Ordered wrong motor and tried to "rig" it to make fit; had to text and ask for plan; asked for detailed invoice for correct motor and didn't get it. looked up cost of motor and was charged about $350 more than most available pricing found online; pretty sure I paid for two motors or was just overcharged. repair man was put out that I asked any questions at all. started asking for payment via venmo within an hour of them leaving and practically harassed me for the payment - not a good sign. won't hire again. final cost was over $1100, not a great surprise at xmas time and without a quote. didn't take deposited money off of final bill.

I would not recommend doing business with Aqua Tech…read more Reason: I received a bill for repairs that Aqua Tech did not perform. The only thing they did was come out to give an estimate of what it would cost to repair the said hot tub. There was no mention via the phone, email or their website about a $130 estimate/trip charge. The tech did not perform any service except to write down what I told him I thought was wrong with it. He was here less than 5 minutes and left without leaving an estimate. That was on 8/14/2024. Three weeks later, 9/4/2024, I received an estimate, but we had already repaired the hot tub. We had thought since they did not get back to us in a timely matter, they were not interested in doing the repairs. I told them at that time that we would not be using their service since the repairs were already complete. Again, there was no mention of any trip estimate charge or bill sent to me. On 10/14/2024 I received an email from Aqua Tech requesting that I pay $130 for hot tub services on a bill that was 3 months past due. This is the first time I received any correspondence from them since 9/4. I called them to find out what the $130 was for and was told that it was a trip charge for the estimate. Again, I was never told about the estimate charge, and it does not mention anything about a trip charge on their website, aquatechutah.com. I told them I was not responsible for it and to produce any document signed by me agreeing to the charge. She said it would be taken care of then hung up on me. This was on 10/15/2024. On Friday, 10/18/24 I received a letter from a collections agency requesting the $130 and threatened to report if not paid. Now I'm dealing with a collections agency.

I've shopped at this location for years opening kits, closing kits, the works and staff have always pulled the products together for me without issue and usually go above and beyond to answer any questions I might have. This visit was the opposite. When I walked in and asked for an opening kit, the associate flatly stated they don't carry it and never have. When I asked him to look it up, he recited the contents out loud but made zero effort to actually help me find the products. Due to his combative tone, I eventually pointed out that we seemed to be having trouble communicating and that I just needed a few items to which he stated he was sorry but was focused on helping another customer. He then tried to tell me incorrect information mixing up liquid chlorine with muriatic acid and I had to explain what I was holding was "just chlorine." Throughout the entire interaction he was dismissive, rude, and combative. When I asked about Leslie's brand chemicals, his response was that "they don't say how these are different online" and that was the end of it. No effort, no ownership, no basic customer service instinct. This used to be a place I was happy to pay a premium to support. I'll be thinking twice before coming back.
