I have had zero luck finding a primary care physician in Bear and I am thrilled to find this practice! The office is clean and spacious. I was greeted promptly and taken back to an exam room very quickly after finishing my initial paper work. The doctor came in and did her assessment and I was completely blown away by how honest and personable Dr. Chaudhry was. She was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated her saying she wouldn't prescribe any medication that she wouldn't give her children. She is very in-depth with her patients and leaves no stone unturned while asking the necessary questions to properly diagnose. I brought my daughter in the same day for a sick visit to be seen by her husband, pediatrician Dr. Nazar. He was equally wonderful and knowledgeable and I look forward to bringing her back to see him. There is nothing like bringing your child to a GREAT doctor. I'm very pleased. The entire experience was the best and most refreshing doctor experience I've ever had. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who lives in New Castle County!

If you have HMO insurance please communicate with your insurance provider prior to each visit because the system tends to somehow 'change your PCP'. If you stop in for a referral for a specialist, be sure they do not provide you with an expired referral number. Also be sure they don't overcharge you if you have a copay. Know how much your copay is going in. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER before stepping foot in here because again, they will schedule your appointment and wait until you arrive to tell you information is missing and you can't be seen. Despite clearly reporting this at the front desk -- not once, but three separate times -- staff chose to do a multiple general physicals instead of immediately checking his blood pressure, blood sugar, pupil responsiveness, or any basic neurological assessment. After nearly two hours of waiting, a staff member at the front desk made an announcement: "If you're here as a walk-in, it's going to be a long wait. You'll continue to be pushed back for every scheduled patient who comes in. Sorry, that's just how it works." I understand the importance of honoring scheduled appointments. But this wasn't a routine visit -- it was an urgent situation. His fall wasn't planned, and a system that lacks triage for potentially time-sensitive injuries is deeply flawed. Ironically, there's a sign posted stating... If you have a head injury, fall, or loss of consciousness, etc please notify the staff. We did exactly that -- three times -- and were still left to wait without appropriate evaluation. We left to pursue care elsewhere. Before CCHS continues to expand or take on more responsibilities, maybe it's time to ensure the current patients / facilities are actually being cared for properly.

I found Apollo Walk-In Clinic on Google and called them to see their wait time. The friendly receptionist answered the phone and said there was no wait time. So I promptly drove over and started my initial paperwork. I was seen shortly by the nurse practitioner. She said was so helpful and thorough. She was a breath of fresh air! Not your average experience at a walk in (at least in my experience). I was given great care this evening. I will definitely recommend & be back!

Prescribed a prescription that had zero effect, obviously. A second opinion, who is out of network, administered strep throat test that came back positive! Prescribed a different prescription, and second opinion could not understand why the first prescription was prescribed. I'd rather take my chances with a voodoo witch doctor then this dump. I definitely have plans on contacting corporate pertaining to this matter. Doubt it will do any good but I wouldn't want another parent to go through this with their children. Stay away from these quack "doctors".

The initial nurse who took my vitals was rude. All the office staff is dismissive. I've had to call and wait on hold numerous times to get the results of a test I had to have done. Now, I'm from NY, but I don't think its too much to ask that the office staff treat people humanely. Once I finally got a hold of someone, I was berated about how she needs to do her job and that my call wasn't a priority. I also thought it was laughable that when I was exiting from my appointment, the one receptionist was trying to take care of something for me while the other one sat there looking at the Popeyes menu while the phone rang off the hook. Not to mention I didn't see the doctor until 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Though I would highly recommend him for his knowledge, I would not under any circumstances recommend Total Care Physicians since they do not employ professional office staff.
