If you stop in for a referral for a specialist, be sure they do not provide you with an expired referral number. Also be sure they don't overcharge you if you have a copay. Know how much your copay is going in. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER before stepping foot in here because again, they will schedule your appointment and wait until you arrive to tell you information is missing and you can't be seen. The "urgent" care people looked at it and said take her to Christiana hospital ER. Why not tell her to go home for 14 hours? after 14.5 hours, yes 14.5/hours!!! at the ER - they "cleaned the wound area" what an incredible health care procedure - and it wasn't very bad after all! They bandaged it and sent her home - at 1:30 in the morning! Unbelievable. My problem is that the cowards at urgent didn't even clean the wound (oh so sorry it "looked" bad), before sending her the death star of Christiana ER. Do they have no clue how horrible that ER is? What the heck! Is "urgent care" for ??? We had no broken bones, no X-rays, no CT scans - it was a flesh wound!!! Wash it and look at it, hello. You cost us 14 hours in a horrible ER hospital. Thank you so much. Not impressed with your care at all.

I found Apollo Walk-In Clinic on Google and called them to see their wait time. The friendly receptionist answered the phone and said there was no wait time. So I promptly drove over and started my initial paperwork. I was seen shortly by the nurse practitioner. She said was so helpful and thorough. She was a breath of fresh air! Not your average experience at a walk in (at least in my experience). I was given great care this evening. I will definitely recommend & be back!

I pleaded with her to be kind, and gentle in handling me, because she wasn't meeting me at my best, but she didn't care. She pushed the instrument so far down into my ear that I let out a scream. Only for her to respond that she had to see, then she proceeded to do the same thing to my other ear. It was as a horrible experience that made me come out of it feeling worst than I did before I came in!!!! If you're looking to feel better don't go to this location!!!! Maybe this nurse practitioner picked the wrong career, or maybe he just didn't like people of color. Whatever the case I left feeling like I would have been better off just staying home!!!!

Prescribed a different prescription, and second opinion could not understand why the first prescription was prescribed. I'd rather take my chances with a voodoo witch doctor then this dump. I definitely have plans on contacting corporate pertaining to this matter. Doubt it will do any good but I wouldn't want another parent to go through this with their children. The initial nurse who took my vitals was rude. All the office staff is dismissive. I've had to call and wait on hold numerous times to get the results of a test I had to have done. Now, I'm from NY, but I don't think its too much to ask that the office staff treat people humanely. Once I finally got a hold of someone, I was berated about how she needs to do her job and that my call wasn't a priority. I also thought it was laughable that when I was exiting from my appointment, the one receptionist was trying to take care of something for me while the other one sat there looking at the Popeyes menu while the phone rang off the hook. Not to mention I didn't see the doctor until 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Though I would highly recommend him for his knowledge, I would not under any circumstances recommend Total Care Physicians since they do not employ professional office staff.
