I have had zero luck finding a primary care physician in Bear and I am thrilled to find this practice! The office is clean and spacious. I was greeted promptly and taken back to an exam room very quickly after finishing my initial paper work. The doctor came in and did her assessment and I was completely blown away by how honest and personable Dr. Chaudhry was. She was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated her saying she wouldn't prescribe any medication that she wouldn't give her children. She is very in-depth with her patients and leaves no stone unturned while asking the necessary questions to properly diagnose. I brought my daughter in the same day for a sick visit to be seen by her husband, pediatrician Dr. Nazar. He was equally wonderful and knowledgeable and I look forward to bringing her back to see him. There is nothing like bringing your child to a GREAT doctor. I'm very pleased. The entire experience was the best and most refreshing doctor experience I've ever had. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who lives in New Castle County!

If you have HMO insurance please communicate with your insurance provider prior to each visit because the system tends to somehow 'change your PCP'. Unable to get an appointment with my sons' doctor for several months, I researched the other doctors at the same office to see if any of them were good. After checking the education, experience and reviews of several of the doctors there, I decided on Dr. Furey. I couldn't be happier with my choice!!! Dr. Furey is a very down to earth, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and empathetic doctor who went over and above his duties to put my mind at ease by explaining everything in detail regarding my condition, what to expect and exactly how we would proceed. Even after my appointment, when I was at the receptionist desk to make my next appointment, he found me in the hallway and gave me additional advice, telling me about an EKG Bluetooth device that I could get on Amazon to record my heart arrhythmias, so that he could also track them on my next visit. I wasn't expecting to find such an amazing doctor on my first try with this group, but I am so happy that I did!!!

It was worth the wait for an appointment to see Dr. Iyawn Olates. She is a doctor who really cares…read moreabout her patients. She is very intelligent, friendly, caring and takes time with her patients. She looked at all my prior medical history and made a plan for futher testing. She is a doctor that I fully trust with managing my health care. I really hit the 'Jack Pot ' when I saw she was accepting new patients. Christiana Care Primary Care is very fortunate to have Dr. Olates for their staff of doctors. As a retired nurse, I was surprised that she was also another one of my doctors who called with the results of the tests she had ordered. This is rare in the medical field these days. I find that you can wait days ,weeks or no call at all for tests that your doctor has ordered. The nurse who called to inform me of the results, did not say all was normal, but actually gave me all the information I asked for. I find that you hear so many complaints about doctors and nurses, but the majority of people seldom show their appreciation for the ones that are really dedicated and compassionate in their field of medicine. The public also needs to remember a doctor, nurse and other members of the health field can only do so much when there is a shortage of health professionals. Times have changed since I was a nurse.
