The receptionist greeted us in the waiting room because there were no other patients there. I stated that my grandson needed to be checked and possibly get something to settle his stomach. I told her that the purpura (red dots) on his face was from forcefully vomiting and that he had specks of blood in the stomach bile that he was throwing up. The receptionist said that she had to ask the doctor if he was willing to check my grandson. I asked why she had to check with him since we were the only patients and the office didn't close for another 20 minutes. I could see the male doctor in the back sitting at a computer. The receptionist came back to us a few minutes later and stated that the doctor refused to see my grandson and that there was another Urgent care in Springfield about 20 mins away that I could take him to. Since they weren't scheduled to close for another 20 mins I asked why the doctor refused to see him and her reply was that the doctor said he reached his quota for the day and therefore didn't have to see him. I told her to tell the doctor that I was not happy with his refusal and that I was going to report him. This occurred on Tuesday 3/18/25 at 7:40 pm. Because of this doctor's refusal to treat my poor. Sick little boy who just turned 5 yrs old had to sit in the hospital ER for almost 5 hrs. Why do places like your company exist other than to make the almighty dollar? I mentioned to my friends and neighbors in our large development down the street from your office and to the medical people that i work with (fyi- i have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years) and several have mentioned negative stories from their families and friends that have gone there. I will be calling the AMA and the State Licensing board this week to report this doctor for unethical practice. What happened to common decency especially with a child. After getting ferociously bitten by a cat, I had to visit this urgent care for some antibiotics…read more Considering the fact that I didn't have my wallet (license or insurance card) at the time, the staff were helpful enough with getting me checked in and seen. My one complaint is that the TV in the waiting room is LOUD, and you cannot hear a damn thing the employees are saying. Every time they called someone by their last name I'd have to go check to see if it was me or not. They didn't seem to really care that people were struggling to hear them, but also got mildly annoyed when folks didn't immediately jump up and respond. I also find it enraging that the entire outside/parking lot is covered in disposable masks. If you force people to wear them, you should have a staff member go out with gloves and pick up the piles of masks that assholes inevitably throw on the ground as soon as they leave. I think I counted 12 masks on the ground between the exit of the building and my car door.

My friend was…read moresuffering from darkly colored urine as he believed he had a uti from drinking carbonated beverages and no water over a 6 month period. The poorly run facility was very unprofessional and unpleasant staff members had him give a urine sample in which 5 minutes later told him he had an STD /STI and told him to go to a Walgreens pharmacy which has been closed for the past 3 years in university of Delaware. The unprofessional nurse threw in to have your girl get checked for chlamydia. My friend was discharged without any paperwork just a sticky note in which she wrote the address to the Walgreens that was not in business. From there we called 24hr Walgreens on rt 7 bear . After getting no help we both went to Christiana Care Hospital in Christiana Delaware and waited til 4am to be seen . My friend was tested and it confirmed he indeed had a severe rare UTI NOT an sti . The doctor at the hospital urged me to file a report against the urgent care facility and find out who is running such an unprofessional establishment giving false medical diagnosis in which several members of my family are lawyers and I will be following up . I suspect they have thought we were uneducated and shall I say ghetto but to their surprise they will find out this is medical negligence in which well I'll have my report filed asap

The team performing the procedure told him he would have to return for another, more in depth procedure on May 19, tomorrow, that would necessitate his staying in the hospital for 3-5 days. No one has called to tell us what time he has to be there, where in the hospital to go, or what the procedure might be. The woman my husband spoke to this afternoon said he was probably having a spinal tap, which he already had last week. Two spinal taps in a week's time, he asked. She didn't know why he needed another. He has called 4 or 5 times all afternoon and into the evening. No reply. Furthermore, they might want to retrain some folks in their billing department. My husband has Medicare Parts A and B, a Highmark supplement, and is enrolled in the plan for Delawareans with cancer who are on a limited budget. Nevertheless, he got a bill--not itemized --for $1846. Friday. Turns out no one at the billing department bothered to bill my husband's supplemental insurance or the insurance for Delawareans with cancer. The billing department just assumed my husband would cheerfully pay the $1800 plus bill. Get real. My family told us to go to John's Hopkins or Sloan Kettering for a second opinion and my husband's treatment. I wish I had listened to them.if it weren't for the courteous staff and good experience I had in the MOU, I would have rated my review a zero.
