I had no idea there were different thicknesses of glass. They charged me close to $100 and gave me a sheet that was 3/8" thick. This was way too thick for a cabinet door and had to return it to get one at 1/8" thick. They quickly cut the right piece, but I inquired about a partial refund, as I paid a high price for 3/8", unknowingly, and the 1/8" should be much cheaper. When I inquired about that when I picked it up, I was told they'd look into it and call me back. Several days passed with no contact, so I called them back and spoke to the salesperson. The person that took my order lied and said I requested 3/8" initially (which I couldn't have, as I didn't know glass thicknesses). She then said she'd research a refund and call me back. Another few days passed with no contact. I called again and spoke to someone who again said they'd research it and call me back. A week later and still no contact. I'm giving up on it now and calling it a loss. But I'll never use them again. Good product when they get it right, but horrible customer service and zero follow-through. Very unprofessional.

I feel like this product should be discounted at this point but they have offered us nothing to fix their mistake. Save yourself a headache and choose another company! Update to owners response- Yes I have the right company. Not sure where you are seeing Colorado. My husband talked to a supervisor, Karen, today about our situation. Some of the scheduling issues "may" have been our contractors fault (we still need to talk with him). Your company incorrectly measured our glass. My husband was also informed there was another initial delivery of the glass that was "flawed" which also increased the timeline. So that's two issues. Potential customers should be aware of these issues and that their project may take longer than anticipated due to these types of issues.

Work was completed on Jan 16th. It took less than 30 minutes for the replacement. Both the estimate person (I don't remember name) and installer, David Rodriguez were friendly and personal and answered questions in friendly manner. The price was more than reasonable and fair....Note: I am someone who often hesitate to get things fixed promptly because of the cost.

When I started getting pushback from the insurance about the scope of the repairs and why what the insurance wanted to be done was not right, Kevin proactively worked with my insurance to get everyone aligned and for them to agree to the necessary work. He even insisted I hold off on final payment until he got everything squared away with the insurance company. Very happy with the quality of the work and would hire them again.

I had pretty much all my window panes replaced using Affordable Screens and Glass. I have a…read more5000sqft house so I spent several thousands of dollars with them. My main point of contact was Cassie who I found to be friendly and easy to talk to. Even the guys that did the actual installs were freidnly, easy to work with and flexible with times. I had no problems in terms of customer service. However, after about a year some of the panes started fogging up, Cassie had them replaced for free under warranty. Then several more and once again they were replaced for free under warranty. As of now (2.5 years later) I have some 14 panes that are completely fogged up, unfortunately it looks like Affordable Screens and Glass has gone out of business. What sucks is I replaced a lot of panes because they were showing the initial signs of leaking (these are 20 year old panes), what I have now is significantly worse looking and did not even last 3 years.

We contacted them again to replace our master shower enclosure as the hard water of Austin hadn't treated it kindly over the years. They did a beautiful job at matching the existing style and hardware of the rest of the bathroom. Great work and great price! Highly recommend.
