My date got the short rib pappardelle and loved his as well. We finished with the cheesecake, and this is where I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Amanda. She was incredible from start to finish -- attentive, sweet, charismatic, funny, and just genuinely made the whole experience that much better. When we ordered dessert, she told us she was going to find us an awesome, big piece of cheesecake and asked which drizzle we wanted -- raspberry, chocolate, or caramel. Naturally, I said, "Give me all the drizzle," and she immediately said, "You got it." When she came back, she told us she didn't think she was able to find us a big enough piece, so she was taking the dessert off the bill. Meanwhile, we were looking at the cheesecake thinking the portions were completely fine! It was such a sweet and unnecessary gesture, and the cheesecake itself was delicious. The Harrison already has great food and such a nice vibe, but Amanda really made the experience memorable. She's the main reason I wanted to go out of my way to leave a review. Lesson learned- if you come here and DON'T get tea (with the adorable teapot, teacup and saucer, all charmingly mismatched) you're doing it wrong. Because I'm weird, I just ordered the Irish soda bread with a dish of whipped cream as a "light" breakfast, and I appreciated that the server humored me to the fullest. My partner had a blueberry muffin that he was super pleased with, probably his favorite that he's found in the area so far. We were shoulder to shoulder to each other. I had to straddle a table leg because of the way the table was set up. I could not get my chair under the table. There was barely any room for our plates and glasses. Even though it was a Mother's Day event, there was not a kids' menu- which makes no sense bc you know kids will be at this event!
