Was referred here by my attorney's office for my personal injury following a car accident (rear-ended, whiplash to neck and back). I'd never been to a chiropractor before but it's not so bad, my pain is gone, my posture is much better, and it's been a pleasant experience overall. 12-week aggressive treatment program, with sessions 3x/week the first month, 2x/week the second month, and 1x/week the last month. This includes adjustments, traction, the "Thumper" and electric stimulation therapy. At-home stretches/exercises for PT. Initial X-rays were done, and a few follow-up assessments to see how range of motion is improving, also went in for an MRI. Dr. Todd is great. There were a few weeks during summer where Dr. Todd and Carol were on vacation so they had two different doctors sub for them. One was younger and not as experienced, but the other was very good. Did not have to have a gap in care just because doctor wasn't in. When I first started, staff was Ali and Colleen, but since then Ali has had Melissa and now Jessie helping out. A little bit of learning curve. Calling ahead to adjust appointment times is convenient, parking scarce only in front of the house on the shoulder or in front of the red shed behind/side of the house. I've been coming here for a little over a month and I'm grateful for it. I've been suffering from chronic pain for a year and half. I went to my doctors; was prescribed medication, and had physical therapy with no relief from pain. I informed my physical therapist that I was going to start going to a chiropractor. She told me that my pain relief was only going to be temporary. I really didn't care anymore! Temporary relief is better than no relief! It was the smartest decision I made. 2 months ago I had the worst neck and shoulder pains. On a scale of 1-10, the pain was an 11! My insurance company referred me to Dr. Antovich. After my first appointment and a few adjustments, I noticed how relaxed my joints had become. I was seeing him 2 times a week, than once a week and now once every two weeks. The pain in my shoulders and neck has decreased drastically. Most days I don't have any pain. I brought my 12-year-old daughter to Creekside on the recommendation of a friend after my daughter was injured in a dog attack. The dog grabbed her clothes and pulled her to the ground so she landed very hard on her tailbone. Fortunately the dog ran away and didn't break the skin. Because I wasn't present at the time and found out about it later from her, I didn't seek treatment for her. But a month later she kept complaining about back and tailbone pain, and she was still shaken by the incident and afraid of large dogs. Dr. Todd was fantastic :) He listened to my daughter's story and spent time talking to her about the damage done to her tailbone and hips. He made her feel so much better about the experience. Then he put her on a treatment plan that addressed her discomfort and limited activities that could re-injure her. Because she was not severely injured, treatment lasted just about a month and now she goes in every couple months to get checked out. She's doing well :) My daughter is still afraid of big dogs, but we're working on that. Meanwhile, she doesn't have pain and discomfort from the attack anymore. read more

This is a must read story.. On December 3 I was in an accident where I was rear ended twice, the first was just a bump and I think I minorly hit my head the second it was a slammer where I hurt my neck, shoulders and hit my head extremely hard. I went to the emergency room, made 2 other appointment with a kaiser doctor to express my pain over the next week. Those visits consisted of a doctor telling me I had a concussion standard whiplash from an accident and gave me pills to make me feel better, in the course of Kaiser's treatment I was given six different medications to "make me feel better". No test were taken, the doctor never even touched me, I was just told to take the medication take it easy and I would feel better in a couple weeks, I was in so much pain all I did was cry and I couldn't figure out why my neck and my shoulder hurts so bad. I was referred to Dr. Todd by a friend, our first visit consisted of a long conversation, x-rays and a treatment plan. I have never been to a chiropractor before I was a complete and total skeptic, after Dr. Todd spent ovrr 3 hours with me. I decided to try it and it, I couldn't get any worse and I don't take pain pills so that wasn't going to help. I laid on the table for my first adjustment, he was just positioning my lower half for the adjustment by pulling my arm to place me correctly, at that time he put my shoulder back into the socket, I WAS FIXED!! My shoulder screamed with relief!! I had told multiple Kaiser doctors how bad my shoulder hurt and them never even addressing the issue, and leaving Dr. Todd's office after my first visit he had placed my shoulder back into socket adjusted my lower half, put me in a neck brace, did x-rays to find out exactly what the accident did to my body, he actually spent time to make me feel better instead of drug me up to cover up the pain. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Antovich and team at Creekside Chiropractic! I travel quite a bit for work; and suffer greatly from two previous injuries from car accidents - all of which can result in severe migraines that impair my work and well-being when not treated. In the past, I have taken Ibuprofen, migraine medicine and other "traditional" medicine for days to address the aforementioned - with limited, or no, results or improvement. I am a caregiver to a family member going on two years now. During that time the lifting and moving required has damaged my right shoulder. It has limited range of motion and intense pain. I started seeing Dr. Todd and his wife Carol the physical therapist mid-January and thanks to the care I've received from them, I am on the path to healing. They include me in the healing process by giving me stretches to do at home. I have experienced the feeling that they both care more about helping me heal than they do about making a large profit. While I won't claim to know a ton about chiropractors, I have been to 3 different chiropractors since college, and this was by far the worst. Since I don't have a wide range of experience, my review is based on a comparison between Dr. Antovich and the other two chiros I've seen. I chose Creekside because it wasn't far from my home and I like little homey, local businesses. I received care for 2 months before deciding not to go back. Each time I went, I was sat in one of the rooms, and waited for at least 20 minutes. While I appreciate a doctor that is willing to spend quality time with his patients, I think that the scheduling needs to then be worked out and accommodate this. Many times I was coming from work and would be returning back to work at an anticipated time, and this could cause me to return late. I didn't mind Dr. Antovich himself. He's nice and all. But after each adjustment, I would have pain in my neck. After the first few times of this happening, I told him about it, and he brushed it off as normal - that my body was correcting and that there would be pain involved. I had not known this to be true with the other two chiropractors I'd seen. But I continued to go, believing that it would eventually get better. It did not. It got worse and I began to have very bad headaches. It was the worst at night when I would lay down to sleep. I couldn't get comfortable with the dull ache at the back of my neck and the headache pounding constantly. Because it was getting worse, I called and cancelled my next appointment (with plenty of time, of course). After stating that I did not wish to receive chiropractic care anymore, I was borderline harassed by the office staff. They called every week for a couple of months attempting to get me back in the office, even trying to scare me into their whole spiel: "you're in the middle of treatment, it's going to get worse if you don't complete it." They were always nice, but the message was clear - they missed my money flowing in. I didn't see a chiropractor for years after this one, for fear of the same thing happening. I'm sure not everyone has a terrible experience, but I did not have a good one at all. read more

First of all, thank you so much, Creekside Chiropractic & PT, for good care. The whole staff are very professional and kind. You will feel very comfortable as well from efficient treatment and I felt good in day 1. They really care about their patients and prompt in responding which is very important. I went especially for neck and lower back pain after automobile accident (rear ended); after their treatment, I feel much better now (BIG difference like heaven and hell). When I need care (PT/or Chiropractic) again in the future, I will definitely go to them and refer other needed people to them as well. And when I can afford, I will go to them again for maintenance. I notice lot of people go to PT/or chiropractic for maintenance (to prevent) and not only for injured.
