Staff does the run of the mill physical therapy exercises. Ample parking spaces available, staff are nice and polite. A common courtesy of having someone competent is the feel you get here. They rent a pool for aquatic exercises. Comparing this place to Kaiser's Pt. This place is a marvel. No problems finding a parking space, no problems getting responses from a receptionist. I should have been allowed to choose where I went for PT instead of being forced to go to Kaiser and being angered by no parking and their services. It is to be noted, that Kaiser has a locking mechanism behind their workman comp area for Pt and physicals. With that being said, I don't think there is a concern for some random angry person here. The Elk Grove Police station is literally right next door. I chose to go here for workman's comp. They understood the dilemma with some shenanigans that the insurance company and Kaiser was trying to get the best buck off an injured workman's comp claim. Best way to describe this place, the insurance company did not want me to go here for some reason, yet they are under their MPN network. Was changed from Capitol PT FCE appointment to the insurance companies FCE doctor. Very concerning tactics used. This was my first place of choice to go to, was recommended and changed due to a doctor's special preference. Never again am I going to blindly go with a doctor's orders. The place the doctor recommended had trash receptionist and rude employees. Questionably unethical but understandable. Everyone eventually knows everyone in rehab and workman's comp. And thus, hands down the work involved. A reminder, that busy; successful places do not need this. My care and documentation were taken care of. They have shades that block the light during PT exercises. I cannot stress enough of the problems other places / people will give you, due to being on a MPN and the receptionist or persons involved have an utter lack of care or regard for you. This is a concerning problem as they document you as volatile, causing problems later. If you have a problem with your insurance adjusters or claims. Check the CA DIR utilization review, and or make a complaint there. I suggest getting a lawyer for workman's comp. They make it easier for staff and everyone involved. A lawyer will most likely add stuff to your complaint and thus getting you your required medical attention and needs. Just vet your lawyer. If you don't like the intake Officer, or they are asking too many questions and are not a lawyer. Find someone else. Be advised, their intake officers and lawyers all usually belong to a network. Keep your information private unless specifically speaking to a lawyer. The facility is behind the Elk Grove Police Department. read more

My mother had an appointment today and it was at 1:30 we came early and they took my mother back we came around 1 or so me and my dad were waiting in the lobby talking as time passed my mom called out to my dad I came in after to help my mother put her socks on and the Dr said " you can leave " multiple times they didn't tell her anything raises that I then ask what now they the assistant and the Dr said we should get a call horrible bedside manner it felt like they were kicking us out without clearly communicating with my mother as a healthcare professional this was super unprofessional and no way to treat a patient to tell then " I have what I need you can go " is crazy my mom calling me and my dad from the lobby instead of the assistant asking for us because she's supposed to be taking care of my mom almost seem like they were shady fake professionals because they were not acting like a professional should I was very upset my mother was treated this way as a healthcare professional don't treat your patients a certain way if you don't want your parents being treated the same way and that will keep you in check Dr Lawrence Richman do better and your assistant too read more

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The people here treated me more like a friend than a patient. But that is just the beginning. This company in my opinion saved my life. I came to them very broken and in my opinion very very disabled. I had a monster of a surgeon beck in 2016 and he butchered my back. This surgeon took a simple procedure and disabled me 3 times worse than before his butcher shop got done with me. I could not stand up straight, reach for anything, stoop, bend, climb even one stair. The back spasms were so bad they at times took me down to the floor. I couldn't sleep in my bed. For almost 4 years I slept on the couch/recliner. I missed holding hands with my wife most of all. Then I found a god send of a Doctor at U.C. San Francisco. He repaired the horrible mess the first surgeon did. He did a complete reconstruction of my back from T-10 to S-1 and got me back to 5'11" from 5'10". Then came rehab. This is where this fantastic team of people came into play. They brought me back from a very physically dysfunctional person to as normal as I can get. I had been using a walker since 2014. I will never be 100% but I feel the 98% they brought me to was also a miracle. When I got to them I already had massive muscle atrophy from years of pinched nerves. In approximately 2 months (or a little more) after I started Land and Aqua therapy my back spasms stopped, I got rid of my walker, I could climb 8 flights of stairs, bend over and pick up anything on the floor. I could finally dress myself (something I couldn't do for years), put on my own shoes, I could take a shower without help, I could sleep in my bed next to my wonderful wife. I could also hold her hand walking. And many many more things that I couldn't do before. Capitol Physical Therapy brought me back from being a "cripple" to a well functioning human again. I could go on alot more about what happen to me from the last 4 long years. But I need to tell you all the great things this team has done for me over the last few months. But the two people I need to thank more than ever and that did the lion share of my rehab is Karen and Christina. In my opinion these two are miracle workers. Thank you everyone. I have been to several different physical therapy centers, and they have been overall good; however, Capitol Physical Therapy Center is by far the best, and the one that has helped me the most on my long road to recovery. All of their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have the extra advantage of having a working relationship with the gym next door, so they incorporate some gym equipment (and swimming pool, but I have not used it) into the physical therapy treatment. I have been able to do some of the therapy using some very beneficial gym equipment (which I truly believe has helped me a LOT). Highly recommend going to them for physical therapy. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here. I was unable to walk when I came in 6 weeks after surgery to repair a broken ankle, so I was nervous to start therapy. The entire staff were so friendly, and helpful that my nerves didn't last and I began to look forward to my appointments. David Bubniak was my PTA and I very much appreciated his attention and care. They have been courteous and understanding of my mom's limitations, but at the same time have been working hard to get her range of motion back to normal. My mom is very pleased with the service and care she has received here. They are professional and kind. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was to go to a place that makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk in greeted by Anne Marie ( not sure if spelled right). Then you walk into the therapy area and are greeted with friendly professional attention by all Lily, Dave and all the rest of the staff I'm super happy to have gone there I've been to others and the therapist is always pleasant but the front desk staff not so friendly. I have had my best expireance ever at this location! From the beautiful lady at the front desk to the crew in the back. Anthony took his time and explained my exercises and streaches to me in a manner that was easy to do at home. True professionals that not only know what they are doing, but listen to me! I have been to other facilities, and if you have a choice, this should be it! He even took me into Cal fit to show me what machines to use and how to use them. Cary Caulfield is the absolute best! I lived for 5 years with a severe sciatica like pain that extended from my lower back to my knee. It disabled me and my life for all those years. I started at Capitol Physical Therapy with a therapist who worked at it, but with no results. She was later let go and Mr. Caulfield stepped in. WOW! He immediately knew that it was my SI Joint that was in trouble and he went to work. After about 6 weeks of his treatments I experienced a day without pain (after 5 years of severe pain, I couldn't believe it!). A few months later, I began to feel like a normal human being again. Cary gave me and my pain issue, the time and attention needed for the healing process to set in. I now have my life back and I am forever grateful. In addition to being a great PT, Cary is a great guy: honest, trustworthy and dedicated to his patients. I can't thank him enough.
