Not respectful to law enforcement…read more My husband went in to enjoy his usual lunch, and the host said "thank god you're not sheriff or I would have spat in your food". He then expounded that he himself was on probation for a dui and made no qualms about his hatred for law enforcement. What does that have to do with providing food service? So you don't want your establishment to be protected? My husband is another line of law enforcement and went to this establishment and was welcomed with that kind of saying. Furthermore, this establishment is employing drunks that take the wheel while under the influence and put the public at risk! What the heck? Zero stars, I will never return. I used to rave about the calzones at this place. I no longer will pay an establishment that is so crass about this. I have friends that are sheriff that would give their life to protect the public.

I think the size of one pizza is good for 2 adults who aren't super hungry. If you're starving, I would treat it as a personal dish. The pizzas are made to order, and you pick them up outside at the oven. I only waited about 10 minutes for one, maybe even less than that. I also ordered the apple cider float, which is cold, rich, and refreshing. Definitely recommend that one. This is a shady spot with some seating indoors and lots outdoors. There are some lawn games. Parking is a bit limited, but you just circle and be patient if it's busy. Finally, the gift shop attached to the restaurant is really cute. It was fun to browse after lunch. They have cider for sale, if you need an Oak Glen apple treat to take home.

I've never known two people to walk into a pizza parlor to order TOGO. A little more customer hospitality would go a long way. The draft beers were fresh and the service was okay. I had a Michelada after my draft Modelo but it was more like a spicy Bloody Mary, with no Clamato flavor. The pizza and breadsticks are the real stars! Fresh ingredients on the pizza and I mean super fresh with a perfectly baked crust. The breadsticks are unimaginably good and swimming in butter--soft on top with a perfect crisp on the bottom. The first order of breadsticks are complementary, but not on to go order. They were so good. I ordered more but they never got brought out just taken off my tab.. I probably wouldn't dine in again. The initial welcome was unfriendly, and the lack of attention to my order made the experience disappointing. The food is good enough that I'd still return for takeout, but the customer service needs significant improvement.

My go-to is the Margherita, usually with pepperoni added, but today I tried the sausage pizza with my brother (he added jalapeños), and it was so good. Definitely ordering that again. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are solid. The three of us shared three pizzas, and we still had a couple slices left over. It's a great option if you're dining on a budget but still want a fun place to hang out. You can also grab your pizza to go and head next door to the wine bar, which makes for a really fun and social night out. Highly recommend Woodhouse, I'll definitely be coming back.

My family has long been fans of Strongman, so we were ecstatic when we heard they were opening a store in Yucaipa. The new location delivers to Yucaipa and Calimesa, making it an easy choice for pizza you can feel good about eating. Our family loves the Strongman sauce because of it's zesty, rich flavor. Collectively we've tried everything on the menu (except for the dessert sticks) and can't complain about a single item! I personally adore that they think of the little things - like not cutting up your customized pizza so you can still make out what was written with pepperoni (we requested them put a "3" on one of our kid's pizzas for their birthday, and the gladly obliged). Service at the new Yucaipa location is friendly and cheerful, as we've come to expect from the Redlands location. The storefront is tucked away in the far corner of a shopping center, making it a little tough to find at first. Just let the vibrant green and black logo be your guide, and settle in for the best pizza you've ever tasted!

We normally order from the New York Pizzeria in Calimesa and have had good experiences, but tonight…read moreour DoorDash order was somehow placed with the Beaumont location instead. Unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered two pizzas -- one Canadian bacon, pineapple and cashew, and one pepperoni and jalapeño. One of the main reasons my husband chose New York Pizzeria is because he knows how much I love cashews on my pizza, and they are one of the few places that still offer them. We waited about an hour for delivery, which honestly wasn't a problem at all. It was a Friday night, and we completely understood that both the restaurant and delivery services would be busy. The problem was how our pizzas arrived. BOTH pizza boxes had apparently been carried and left at our door upside down. When we opened them, the pizzas were completely smashed over to one side of the boxes, with the cheese and toppings stuck to the lids. They were ruined. My husband had actually caught a glimpse of the DoorDash driver carrying our order and thought it looked like the boxes were being carried like regular packages rather than pizzas, but he wasn't certain until he brought them inside and we opened them. I'm including the videos of us opening both pizza boxes with this review so you can see exactly how they arrived. I completely understand that the restaurant did not deliver the pizzas and isn't responsible for how a DoorDash driver handled them. However, we had never dealt with something like this before and weren't sure where to start, so I called the restaurant first. I was immediately placed on hold, which again was completely understandable on a busy Friday night. What bothered me was the interaction once someone came back to the phone. The woman I spoke with was difficult to understand and, more importantly, was very unfriendly and dismissive. I was basically told that it wasn't their problem and that I needed to take it up with DoorDash. I actually suspected that DoorDash would ultimately be responsible for the delivery issue, and I wasn't expecting the restaurant to take responsibility for something the driver had done. I was simply calling the business we had just ordered food from because I didn't know the proper process. A little kindness or even, "I'm so sorry that happened. Unfortunately, because DoorDash delivered it, you'll need to contact them for a refund or replacement," would have made the interaction completely different. After all of that, we still tried to make the best of the situation. We scraped the toppings and cheese off the lids, put a couple of slices back together, and tried to eat them because we were hungry and had already waited an hour for dinner. Unfortunately, the pizza itself tasted bad. That had nothing to do with how it was delivered. Even after trying to salvage it, neither pizza was enjoyable, and we ended up extremely disappointed with the food itself as well. I don't like leaving negative reviews, and I especially don't want to blame a restaurant for something that was clearly the DoorDash driver's fault. But the delivery damage was only one part of this experience. The unfriendly response when I called and the poor taste of the food were separate issues. We've always had a much better experience with the Calimesa location, so that's where we'll stick to ordering from in the future.
